Had my safe delivered! Top notch service, the delivery crew shows up in a blank truck, very discrete and the safe is in a plain cardboard box. It looks like you are getting a piece of furniture. They lined my tile flooring with aluminum panels so that they could roll the pallet jack on there without doing any damage. Curt and Elizabeth are outstanding people, a pleasure to deal with. They helped me pick out a safe that was exactly what I needed without either: 1.) Taking out a second mortgage 2.) Mistakenly buying an expensive, cheap consumer grade rattle box built to a profit-inclined price point, which could likely be broken into by a ticked-off 15 year old cheerleader brandishing a whiffle bat (Hello, looking at you Wal-mart, Academy, Lowes, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera). They also generously allowed me to pay it off over a few months, then held it until I was free to take off work to meet the delivery truck. Also, the delivery fee wasn't nearly as high as expected, since it was about 750 lbs and travelling from South Florida to Central Texas. I can't recommend C.E. Safes highly enough. Do yourself a favor and give them a call and talk to Curt about what an actual 'safe' safe is, before throwing away a lot of money on a supposedly secure, on sale big-box deal. read more

Great company! I had a large/heavy safe relocated today in my home, and it could not have gone smoother. The two movers that came to my house were friendly and professional. It was clear they were both very experienced in safe relocation (unlike many local movers), and they had all of the necessary equipment to ensure there was no damage to the safe or to my house! I Purchased a safe from Curt and C.E. Safes. I appreciate the time and effort Curt took to educate me and my wife on security and what to look for in safes. I did extensive research online and watched countless videos and read numerous articles on safes and i felt Curt's information proved the most valuable. There were a couple hiccups in the timing of the delivery due to a delay at the safe manufacturer (beyond the control of C.E. Safes), however Curt and his team kept me informed and delivered the safe to me very shortly after he received it. The installation crew were polite and professional and the safe itself (Fort Knox - M3 model) is a masterpiece. It was not cheap, but it was fair and a good value. I purchased a 30 gun CE safe back on June 5th 2015. The delivery etc, was good guys got it in bolted down etc and didn't break anything. After a few days i was down on the floor and noticed that the very bottom part of the door of the safe wasnt painted and the paint on the inside of the safe had runs in it. I notified CE sent pics of both issues to them and asked for some one to fix it. The general feeling that i got was since i bought an entry level safe etc..that i got what i paid for. ok FF to December they finally got a replacement safe out to me 7 months later. They dont feel i was inconvenienced and wanted me to pay the full disputed amount back to them. I wish i could have recorded the call and been able to play it here. The experience has been one of the most negative customer experiences I have ever encountered. I think they sell good products and sell better quality and strength safes than big box stores and sporting goods places, but if you have an issue with this company stand by could take a while to resolve and may not be very nice about it. I never once received an apology. I was expecting a new safe not a blemished safe. Now the drama continues hope to return get money back and perhaps find a company that treats people well and appreciates the business. read more
