What a joke. DO NOT BELIEVE their website about order now and ships today. I ordered a product for a customer paid overnight and even sent an email after to confirm. Not only did they not respond, they didn't ship my item and then said they wanted to confirm the shipping address. Y'all are dumb. It's Friday now and my installer drove 4 hours to install only to get there with nothing. Who cares if the address was right? If it's wrong, it's my fault, but it isn't! Years ago, I used to buy all of my electronic equipment exclusively from CDW. Well, this year, I ordered a couple of mice for my computers. CDW didn't send an email order confirmation as their web site said they did, so I called them to ask about it. The service representative (if you can call her that) was rude and obviously didn't care if I ordered from CDW or not. This is not the only instance of rude and uncaring treatment I've had from CDW over the years. As a consequence, I've decided to use any other option for my electronic needs rather than CDW. One option is that I can order from the actual manufacturer of the needed electronic piece. Or, I can order from Amazon, eBay, Best Buy and many others, all whom sell the same things that CDW does and with much better service. Because I have so many options, I don't need to order anything from CDW ever again. So, I don't leave CDW angrily, but with a scrug of the shoulders and the thought that, if they don't treat me as a valued customer, someone else will. read more

I worked at CDW as a contractor for 13 months. When I start I thought its the best place to build my career in IT and over the time I saw stupid crazy discussion by the management, one of them they close one of the entrance for a month just to save some $$, but more importantly they do not respect the people the work there, the supervisors are kids and they consider all workers are slaves, even they do not want someone to respect them. one of the coworkers that I worked with him he left a two week notice and I surprised next day the manager told him to leave now, also it happened to me when I told my supervisor that I will leave the company in one week, he called my recruiter company to end my contract before 2 days of my last day!!! What the hell baby decision the do, the do not want any one to respect them, they are poor lier. This company is the worst ever. read more

Alex worked with us though our problem every step of the way. Our shipping address ended up being why our item was not shipped. But Alex was there till it got shipped out. He even waived the shipping charge. We got our sonic wall and it is a great item. I would use them time time after time. read more

Complete joke and very regrettable purchase. Contradictory emails, ambiguous delivery method and erroneously set up product. Instead of receiving license electronically for speedy use of software (as indicated) wound up waiting on a physical copy. Poor cancellation system and prohibitive return structure ensure you are locked in for the very poor ride. Seriously worth avoiding this distributor. read more

Superior place to buy computers. The business is good They are efficient in being orderly and organized indeed. Organization is their strong point. They are helpful and polite. The testing equipment is much more up to date and more modern. Unfortunately, they do NOT work consistently and cables are not fixed immediately either. The supervisor Tucker does not give new employees any chances, the first week, of a slow testing equipment for computers, they blamed me for my slowness instead of the testing equipment not working fast enough. Tucker and Herri said I was slow and did not consider me for a moment that the equipment was slow and did not work correctly for me. I had foot problems and in one week and half I was out of a job and gone from CDW. I thought I could fix my pained foot next week and keep on working faster afterwards. Isnt probation about 2 or 3 months long instead. Again, Doesn't anyone in CDW give a new person a chance- in one week and half I was gone with no job and no money. Ssshhhh! read more

In early October (2011), I emailed this company twice with an inquiry about a computer it was supposedly selling on the web. In response, I received automated emails acknowledging my inquiry & advising me the company would respond shortly. Today, over two weeks later, I have still not received a response to my question. I did write the company one last email today indicating that their lack of customer service means I won't be buying anything from them - not that I expect this email to have much impact - since it too will probably only generate another automated acknowledgement that the company will get back to me shortly. read more

Don't buy from CDW! They are the worst customer service reps in the industry! I placed an order for an item in local stock and it still has not shipped 5 days later! Called every day to expedite and never could get a straight answer from anyone at CDW. No one there cares about the customer and they appear to enjoy screwing you around. Extremely poor customer service. I ordered an Apple iPad mini two weeks ago, paid for shipping 2-3 days, have yet to receive the product. No explanation whatsoever. My card has been charged and although I've left voice mails for my account representative and in the general mailbox no response at all. read more

We have purchased all of our technology through CDW for the last ten years. I am in the process of upgrading employee computers and emailed my rep. His email came back so I called the sales line. The guy on the phone said he could help. He treated me like dirt. I let it go on for some time and finally I stopped the conversation. I told him how rude he was being and he threw it back on me! The selection is very broad, as noted. But the pricing is far from "discount". I went today to buy a replacement power supply for a tablet computer. Toshiba's own website offers $8 off (71.99 from original list 79.99). CDW would not match this; their price was the full list. I asked if the "D" in CDW still stands for "Discount" and was told, "No." Looking at the other items offered in the retail area, it looked like everything was priced higher than other retail outlets; a cordless mouse that's $39.99 regular price at Office Max, for example, was $49.99 here. read more

I have dealt with this company for a week trying to order an IPAD mini Wi-Fi through the EPP program. I ordered on Monday. Got call from account representative on Tuesday indicating that my account was set up wrong and he reordered. Got call form same rep on Wednesday telling me that my order was not approved through credit department because my name (someone else) was not on the account for the debit card, My home address showed someone else lives there and the IP address from my computer was in Illinois (I live in Ohio). I was told by rep that my order has been cancelled. On Thursday I go to look at bank statement on line and there is an authorization for CDW for the amount of my order. What a week. I then found out that I can get the same thing from Best Buy for $7.00 more. read more

I placed an order March 29th - item was back ordered - not ETA. When it finally came in July 7th, I received an email "The order shown below is ready to be picked up at Will Call". Problem is I am in Utah and I ordered it to be shipped to Colorado. I have requested information regarding this and asked it to be shipped out. They are not dependable to complete an order. I ordered a couple of Havis parts and received my order confirmation email. I then got a call a day later saying there was a problem with my card, HOWEVER I could see that my card had in fact been charged. They promised me to have the issue resolved and then call or email me by the end of the day. A couple of days pass and I don't hear from them. So I call them back, they apologize that nothing had been done and again promise to have it fixed by the end of the day and call or send me an email confirming that the problem was fixed. TWO DAYS Later I call back, after hearing nothing from them. They transfer me to the sales team who tells me that my order is too confusing because I'm having it shipped to a different place then my billing address. I tell them to go ahead and ship it to my billing address, HOWEVER they are now out of stock of the items I ordered a week ago and it will take over a month to get them! This is a business full of empty promises. Look somewhere else for the parts you need. read more
