I got my permit a year ago and still have yet to even take my first lesson! I have been trying to schedule my behind-the-wheel sessions for MONTHS (way before the pandemic) by calling and emailing and have yet to be called back/responded to. I called again today, only to find out the voicemail box is now FULL and our emails (both old+new) were never responded to at all. I have reached out to friends of mine who took classes here and they have all had similar experiences. Overall, i had/am currently having a very unpleasant experience and recommend taking driver's ed. through your school or a different academy.

I made an appointment to test drive a 2025 Tiguan SEL-R. When I showed up at the appointed time,…read morethe car I wanted to test drive had been sold, and another one wasn't lined up for me to check out. I get that stuff like that happens (they are in the car selling business after all), but you'd think they'd be on top of this prior to my arrival (isn't that the whole point of making a test drive appointment???). Instead, I was met with "Oh, the vehicle just got here and isn't driveable yet, I've got to go prep it first", which was then followed up by "We already sold it". OK...not off to a great first impression, but let's see if there's something else in stock for me to drive. I didn't get a good vibe from the first salesperson, Rick. He may have been a great guy, but his voice was grating to my ear and he came off as an argumentative, pushy car salesperson (trying to get me to look at a 2024 when I asked to test drive a 2025 and being extremely cagey about the 2026 arrival, which I've heard on the internet could be as soon as next month (but he's telling me there's no info on 2026 models and who knows it might be 7 months away). It really felt like his goal was to steer me to old inventory, when I explicitly said I was interested in a 2025 or 2026 car. By all means, tell me after the fact ("hey, BTW if you want to save some money there's a $5k discount on 2024 models right now"), but lead with giving me the info I requested first. When he was away from his desk, I quietly confirmed that they did not work on commission and then asked if I could work with someone else. After transitioning to another salesperson, Luke, we were able to communicate much better; our wavelengths were better aligned. We did the test drive, and he gave me the "out the door" price quote I requested. When he demonstrated the sunroof, there was a tiny embarrassing moment when he couldn't get it to close, even with repeated attempts. We eventually got it closed after getting the car in motion, but that was a wee bit concerning. I mean really...when have you ever tried to close something on a brand new car and it refuse to do so? Did we forget to say the secret password or something??? The car does take voice commands. The voice assistant is named Ida; I guess we could have tried schmoozing her, but alas we didn't think to do so. I liked Luke and the sales manager, Travis; I liked many of the features on the Tiguan, and it felt good on the road. I'm still considering all my options (perhaps stay with what I have, or perhaps a Toyota/Mazda/Honda); thank you VW for the test drive.

My husband and I are from Eau Claire, WI and had Rayanna at Lab Approved RV do an inspection on a…read more2023 travel trailer we wanted to buy, so that if anything was found deficient in the manufacture of that trailer it could be corrected by the dealership before we took possession. We had this inspection done for our peace of mind. We learned that a lot of new rvs coming out of the pandemic had quality control issues, and since we were about to spend a lot of money we did not want to end up buying a lemon. We were so impressed with Rayanna! We checked out three rv inspectors prior to selecting Lab Approved RV and what stood out about Lab Approved was Rayanna's professionalism, her training and credentials, and the service we would receive for our money. She got back to us immediately after our first inquiry and kept in regular contact with us as we went along. She was good at answering our questions and thoroughly explained the process of an inspection and what to expect. The day after the inspection she provided us with a report that we accessed online, and then later printed out. Rayanna spent the day looking for safety issues, did an inspection of the roof and slides, as well as a very detailed evaluation of our trailer's electrical system, water system and propane--not to mention that she went over every inch of that trailer with a fine toothed comb--and I really mean that! Rayanna gave us an online 95-page detailed report which had about 100 photos and also included three videos. Rayanna did find three things and we were able to address those issues with the dealer before we took possession of the trailer. We feel what we payed to have this inspection done was well worth the investment and a great value for the money. It brought us peace of mind going forward. I highly recommend Lab Approved RV.
