I didn't realize until recently when I booked my driving class with Ansari that a strict instructor doesn't work for me. At Ansari Driving School, the instructor was very patient. I've been very forgetful since I had a baby, but he was very patient with me. He motivated me all the time, always reminded me to relax, and believed in me. Another thing I really liked about his teaching style was that every time we went for a drive and I made a mistake, we would do the same scenario again, and he would explain what I did wrong, especially on the main road. He also taught me many different scenarios, particularly with parking and making corrections. I booked a total of 8 hours with him. I am very happy with the way he taught me. I'm writing this review because I want everyone to know that he's one of the best instructors out there. Very understanding. I highly recommend him to anyone planning to book him and checking his website. Book right away. You'll get your money's worth.

I took lessons with Paul 5 years ago. I was 30 years old. I had never driven and I was as scared as…read moreany new driver could be. Paul helped me from day 1 where we didn't even use the gas pedal, just coasting, to my driver's license exam. I did pass on my first try! He gave tips and tricks that would help for the exam as well as driving in real life. He was firm/assertive when needed but I also felt safe and comfortable as a terrified driver. He made me step outside of my comfort zone. He loaned me his sunglasses when I couldn't see. Because of Paul's help, I am able to work jobs that involve driving. I can now drive giant diesel trucks and haul trailers for work. Yesterday I drove 420 miles in one day. While I will never be a carefree driver, I attribute my driving success to Paul and First Pass Driving. I am eternally grateful for his help.

Learning to be a beer judge was number one, but this was right behind it. Give it a shot. Why not at least learn how to ride a cycle? Then they shut their doors in the middle of his schooling, pretty much souring him on higher education. But Susan at HTC has been so welcoming and encouraging that he has high hopes (or in his words, "cautious optimism" which is the most excitement you'll get! :D) about again pursuing a degree. I was really pleased to learn that some, if not many, of his credits from MSB will transfer. We await the admissions office decision on that, but many students have successfully made the switch. Everything has been smooth during enrollment for fall, so I'll update this review in a few months. I'm very happy with the admissions process and helpfulness of the staff.

He explained to me what my mistakes were and worked on correcting those mistakes. He was able to explain everything I needed to do for me to pass my exam. He was strict, but he was the best driving teacher. He helped me gain confidence and get comfortable driving on the actual road. I highly recommend Sunrise Driving School (especially if you came from a different state/country, as Minnesota has its own laws and regulations). It's a lifetime investment, and it's worth every penny. If you're struggling with your driving test, consider enrolling in a driving school like Sunrise.
