So when I opened my garage to find water leaking all over my moving boxes I called area plumbers - now I get the whole COVID so busy thing, I do - but not one call back, even from a 24/7 emergency plumber!! So by chance I pulled up Joe and found he had expanded to my area! It was like old home week! Willie the dispatcher is not only the best at what he does, he's like talking with family! After a week and a half of nothing, here is why I love Joe The Plumber: I called Willie first thing in morning 6-4-21, Joe himself was there by10a 6-4-21 he found the problem, located & (temp) stopped the leak, I recieved the estimate 11:59a 6-4-21 and Joe The Plumber Team will be at my house on 6-7-21! Forgetaboutit!!! Joe drove an hour on the same day I called, diagnosed the issue, stop the leak, walked my main house to price additional work and gave me an esitmate, to which I was charged a nominal fee (which I knew up front) - I mention this because I know some people complain - read above and understand without Joe my pipes would still be leaking. They showed up on time and dedicated themselves to our project. I had requested proposals for two other contractors and Lassen gave us the best system at a lesser cost than the other competitors. In July 2024, the upstairs HVAC system in the home stopped providing cool air. Sean Lassen was contacted multiple times over email and phone to ask him to investigate the problem. He only responded to our inquiries when the builder reached out to him and asked him to contact us. Unfortunately, instead of going out to the house to investigate the issue (his website says he offers 24/7 emergency service but couldn't offer me any timetable to come out other than to say it would be several weeks before he'd have time) he offered excuses about being too busy, being too far from the location of the property, not having good employee support since COVID, and then mentioned that we would be outside our warranty anyway. I had another HVAC company go out to diagnose the problem and the builder also investigated the problem directly. Ended up having a different HVAC company install a new flare, reconnect the pipe, add refrigerant and test the system at a total cost of almost $1700. Lassen HVAC is completely unresponsive to homeowners, takes absolutely no interest or accountability for his workmanship and or responsibility for any corrective actions. Did I mention that we missed out on a couple thousand dollars in rebates when our system was installed too because he never got us the paperwork we needed?? DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
