We called the Professional Electrical Services on Thanksgiving Day when we noticed a strange noise…read moreand smell coming out from electrical circuit breaker panel. After searching and calling a many other services without any success, we finally received an immediate response from Robert, the owner of Professional Electrical Services, who patiently listened to us, explained what needs to be done for safety, and then said that he will come first thing in the morning next day to evaluate the problem. Next morning he was here as promised, and said that the whole panel needs to be replaced. He provided us with a price quote which was fair for us and much less, comparable to other similar services in the industry. On Saturday, the team arrived before the specified time, and work was finished as planned; they were knowledgeable, and installed the new circuit quickly and neatly and at the quoted price. It was done the way it should be by competent contractors, so we were able to return to normal life fast. Robert and Zach are very professional and easy to work with; very responsive and helpful: they understand the situation and care to help as soon as possible. They were happy to spend an additional time and explain anything we need. We really lucked out finding these services. Very Good Electricians and Very Good People! We definitely will use them again (if needed) in the future and highly recommend these excellent services! Elena and son Philipp.

They brought in the huge 20' ladder for the foyer fixture install, and were awesome about completing a difficult fit without doing the slightest bit of damage to the floors or wall. Also, the quote came in lower than a couple others ones in the area. I can't thank you guys enough for the service. I mean, the other guy was good; he did what I hired him to do. No complaints. But Kevin, damn. Kevin is incredible. I don't know how to explain it. Just hire him for something electricity-related, and you'll see what I'm talking about. The guy is a master. Actually, I think he literally is a Master Electrician. He really knows his wires. Kevin installed six new recessed can lights in a room in my 1860 farm house. Before Kevin's handy work, the room was dark and depressing. No one ever wanted to be in there. You just felt lonely and sad in there. But now, with the new lighting Kevin installed, when you're in that room, you feel like a happy daisy in the middle of a warm, sunny Spring day. But only if the lights are turned on. | Hire Kevin for all your electrical needs. You won't be disappointed.

Kevin returned my call very promptly when I reached out. Since he was already working in town, he was able to swing by the same day. After explaining my issue, Kevin got to work diagnosing the problem. He found the culprit, a poorly wired outlet, within a matter of minutes. Kevin rewired the outlet correctly, installed a new outlet and ensured it was flush mounted; previously, it had not been. He stayed around for a bit and ensured all the other outlets worked and had the correct voltage. This repair gave us back the functionality of the majority of the outlets in our kitchen. I can't say enough about the level of service Kevin provided. He was timely, professional, personable and clean. He charged a very fair price for the work he did. I highly recommend calling him for electrical work. We plan on utilizing his services in the future.

Unfortunately, during installation, 3 out of 5 of the glass globes fell and shattered due to improper handling and a failure to ensure they were correctly secured before lifting. My state of shock at seeing irreplaceable glass shattered across my dining room floor took over at that moment. Still, after explaining the situation, the original invoice was dropped from $200 to $165. While I can appreciate the partial discount, $35 off really made me feel dismissed. This was a vintage piece, a detail I had stressed while booking. The destruction of the shades doesn't just damage the fixture; it damages the entire value of the piece. After some back and forth (during which it was stated that it was within reason to fault me too for not explaining the precarious physics of the chandelier), the price was eventually lowered to $100, with a promise that if I found replacements, they would cover the cost (to an extent). Unfortunately, that seems like a long shot; these shades are likely irreplaceable, and I think even they realized the absurdity of trying to find matching replacements. The invoice was ultimately waived, but that doesn't begin to make up for the damage done to a one-of-a-kind piece, plus the hours I have spent searching for something similar since the accident. I am incredibly heartbroken, and while I understand that mistakes happen, this experience fell short of the care, accountability, and empathy I had hoped for. If you're installing standard fixtures, you may not run into issues. But if you're working with anything vintage or fragile, I'd strongly recommend finding a team with more specialized experience, more care, and more willingness to take responsibility if something goes wrong sincerely (and immediately).
