We still have mud haze on the floor, we were told that a sealant was our option, have popping noises all around the kitchen and some grout is cracked already, despite a repair job a few weeks ago. Oh did I mention that the finishings (room floor dividing trim) and door trimming/planing so the doors would close we had to ask for. I am sorry but I expected post job cleaning to be done. Our driveway was full of clay, I was cleaning it for weeks to get it back to what it looked like pre job. I still say Robert is a nice guy. I am just not a fan of his work and am very sorry to say that I would not recommend him to anyone. Ok so here is the pre-install review. We were referred by our electrician. Robert is so friendly and helpful. He came out to the house to see our jobs. We had reasonable quotes within hours. He even came with to pick out materials and helped guide us regarding selecting materials that would work best for us, our budget and our home. Despite my apology, he refused to finish the job. They kept the full payment without providing the service. I would have understood if they deducted a portion for the trip, but keeping all the money shows complete dishonesty. We will be disputing the charge and reporting this business to the town. This was the most unprofessional, unpleasant appliance service experience I've ever had. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

The "pro" did not require to use tape on the entire trim and edges and left everything crooked! The amount of respect he'll show your newly bought home will shock you. He was very good at constantly calling and texting me to pay him after I escorted his things out with "the boys in blue". He worked with the other contractors to rough out the wiring before the sheetrock was installed and came back at the end to install the lighting and outlets. We arranged with him to stay after finishing the bathroom to take care of a to-do list of electrical issues that had been nagging us, including: rewiring a toe-kick heater in the kitchen to take it off the basement light circuit, diagnose and fix dead CFGI outlets and a xenon under-cabinet light (dead transformer) in the kitchen, added a basement light in the basement workshop, removed unwanted basement outlets, added two ceiling four outlet gang boxes in the workshop for drop-down power for tools and tool chargers. I had a collection of electrical parts and romex that I intended to use myself, and he used what he could so he wouldn't have to charge me, and even gave me credit for some of my unused parts that he could use on other jobs that I offered to him for free. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and offered suggestions for improving on my own thoughts. He even took care of a few minor things like a cracked gang switch plate, missing screws, and a hanging gang switch plate cover in the workshop. We will be using him again in the future when we install a whole house generator and replace the breaker box to protect linemen from back-feeding the grid.

I contacted my son who recently had some electrical work done and he recommended DMA Electric. It turned out that we were back at my son's house today doing more work and my daughter-in-law talked to the owner and asked about what we needed done. He agreed that not only could they do the work, but he was available to come over right then to do an estimate. He arrived 10 minutes later, gave me the estimate which I accepted. He then told me they were able to do the work today if we wanted. I of course accepted and there was an electrician in my garage 15 minutes later starting work. The job was professionally done with almost no cleanup needed. We are thrilled with the results, the tech was amazing and the cost was more than reasonable. Now I'm the one recommending this firm. I won't be looking for anyone else for electrical work.

The movers removed the feet and bottom wooden piece, without asking, then walked away without putting it back together. Colin came, took the feet and wood, rebuilt the broken feet, removed wood glue from many years past and rebuilt the cabinet. Once the feet were cleaned up and reattached the bottom wood piece, he came back and reattached everything to the china cabinet. It is now more solid than it had been in over fifty years. This piece has been in our family for three generations and I am so thrilled to have it back in its full beauty again. Mister Fix THIS answered our service request before anybody else and was available to come within a couple of hours. We had some dialog by text so that he could understand the appliance issue more clearly. His business model is one that works on building a customer base. We agreed upon a price for part and installation. He followed through with installing the ordered part, and when the repair did not address the underlying problem he refunded all. Our first experience with Plumbums was excellent - we had an emergency issue, Jim was able to come…read moreout within an hour or two and get it fixed, and he was on his way. When our pipes froze during the big storm this January (thankfully, without water in them), we decided to hire Plumbums again. That didn't go as well. Quality of work: The fixes Jim suggested (a series of individual junction fixes) seemed reasonable for the repairs needed, but in some cases replacing whole sections would have been more time- and cost-efficient (according to other plumbers we've had in our home who have seen the work done). And we needed four return visits within our first three days living in the house to address issues that had not been resolved or that popped up as soon as we turned systems on. One problem (heat running constantly on our first floor, making the house over 80 degrees in the winter) was unresolved until I researched possible causes myself and communicated that to Jim, who sent out one of his guys to implement the fix. Professionalism: We were frustrated by the lack of care shown toward our property. Jim's guys left plumbing debris (not just the stuff our homeowner's insurance requested, but just straight-up trash), food trash, and drywall dust in our basement and living areas. This means that the first thing we had to do after driving 3,200 miles to move in was clean up after them. Drywall was removed roughly in several locations, and although patching was not included in the estimate, the cuts themselves appeared unnecessarily sloppy (and our new plumber neatly cuts and replaces drywall as a matter of course, leaving the mudding to us, which is fine). Plumbums did work well with our insurance company to get our claim handled, and ultimately we have working plumbing. But our experience wasn't great.
