One provided us with an estimate for the job, but they had a call center in another state with no ability to reach the local office directly, and the communication delays were a problem. One service provided us with an estimate, but suggested an upgraded system that would more than triple the cost, and stated they could not warranty their work without it. We called Hogge's Septic Tank Service. Jess Hogge responded promptly to our call, providing us a reasonable estimate, and was consistently in contact with us during the repair process. This was a difficult repair on a system that was 40 years old, with multiple previous jerry-built pump replacements. Every few hours during the repair process Jess would hail me to come over to look at what previous teams had done to our system. He ultimately rebuilt the piping entering and exiting the new pump he installed. It was a beautiful job (for a septic system). Fair, honest, and dependable. Highly recommended!

They came by to let us know what the issue was, then, after we had the flooring ripped up after a leak detection company marked off where it was, they came with the jackhammer and tore up our cement. Unfortunately, the leak wasn't where detection had marked it. I'm grateful Stephen was find enough to come in on what was supposed to be his day off the next day to continue after we took up the rest of the wood overnight. They did a great job at locating the leak, fixing it, explaining what might have happened to cause it, filling the hole back up and covering it with cement.
