We've used this company twice to clean our dryer ducts. The first time was pretty urgent, as the vents hadn't been cleaned in years and were completely blocked. We were new to town and this company was recommended by our hvac repairman. They came quickly and took a ridiculous amount of lint from our vent. Three years later, I called them again just for maintenance. Again, they came quickly, and the workers were so pleasant and professional! Prices were reasonable. read more

I looked on here and did not see my review and thought for sure I had left one in October 2021. I had shiny ducts clean my vents plus the dryer vents , it was more than 500 dollars the next morning all over my bathroom and in several rooms debris everywhere, I contacted shiny ducts and they said it was normal for this to happen. I couldn't believe the response and that they would not make this right and correct it by coming back out. I would not recommend this company to anyone for this very reason. read more

I am very impressed with this company. Shana the Team Leader, along with Technicians Michael and Markell thoroughly cleaned my dryer vent in less than 30 minutes. They took a picture of the vent to show me it needed to be cleaned, then took a picture of the vent after it was cleaned. So after having a very bad experience with a horrible company "master cleaners" I was told to give shiny ducts a try and once i spoke to the gentleman on the phone, i felt assured that they would be doing a proper job of cleaning my vents and dryer duct, he was courteous, knowledgable and told me straight out what the price would be for my 1500sq ft home. The technicians were well prepared with booties and masks, respectable and efficient in cleaning up after themselves. We contacted shiny ducts in June 2021 to come and clean our vents which were spewing out black particles. They came and cleaned and everything was fine up until the winter months. When we turned on our heat, the black particles came back. We contacted shiny ducts again who proceeded to tell us that this was normal since the heat was now drying out whatever was left over. This wasn't even told to us as a possibility and of course we were now out of their "3 month" warranty. They agreed to come out for another $250. Upon arrival, the men only wanted to clean certain ducts, not all. My husband had to contact the owner who agreed to clean them all. When they left we noticed black particles still coming out of the ducts and were told to take pictures, wait a couple days and call them back. They also said that they loosened some of the stuff and that could be what's coming out. We did not pay for loosening, we paid for cleaning, but we agreed. Same night we received a call saying the check we gave them was not signed and they could not deposit it. We apologized for our mistake and gave them our debit card information. Well two days later, not only did they deposit the check but also charged our debit card!! I had to contact our bank to dispute the check and wait several days to get our money back nearly bouncing our other bills. We were told that someone in the office "accidentally" deposited the check. Fast forward to now, the issue has never gone away. We have sent pictures and contacted the owner who now says there is nothing they can do and to call an HVAC specialist. We have a split system with the upstairs being a heat pump. What the odds that both systems would have the SAME issue at the exact same time twice? So now we are out over $700 with no resolution. The owner has never once stepped foot in our house to assess the issue himself but based his decision that he cannot help us based on pictures. I attempted to contact the owner again requesting a refund of $250 since the issue was never actually resolved during the second cleaning. No response. I filed a BBB complaint and they have ignored it. read more
