Horrible service . They charge $76 per day however if your car has been there 1 minute it's considered a day . SCAM trash company who works with the apartment complex's to tow their Own tenants vehicles. Absolutely horrible company. Car was parked in front of garage of HOA managed gated community. CBM demanded cash payment of $200 or car will be towed to garage. Person who was towing the car was also very rude and unprofessional. When I asked if Saturdays are also enforced, he rudely responded with "I don't care.." Parked at 12:54 am, Towed at 1:12 am. Under 20 minutes car was towed in residential parking. Called in and they said $288 for my car back, went in the same day (less than 10 hours had passed) and they charged my card $400. Slight damage was found on the car itself. Company is predatory and refuses to reply to complaints sent from Better Business Bureau. Avoid company at all cost. If your car has been towed by them and you are being given predatory prices, complain to either: Better Business Bureau and California Tow Truck Association. I popped a tire on the freeway, and Vincent really came to save the day. He was on top of everything: Calling beforehand to be clear on where I am, making sure we're doing everything safely, being patient with my inexperience with cars, and generally knowing the area so everything was smooth as butter. He's as competent as you can get. Vincent's also a super cool guy to talk to. The ride back was fun, chill, and not awkward at all. Dude's a beast, and good company too. So grateful for Bart coming through to help us pick up one of our cars after we had a small accident. We had already been stuck for about 6 hours before Bart came. Really, am I going to give a place 5 stars for towing my car without me requesting them to? Um, no. So since Temple City now dictates who can park on the stretch of Rosemead where I live (without notifying anyone, especially those of us who live under what's considered San Gabriel), my dad parked his car in a drugstore parking lot to avoid getting a ticket and because it was too late to get an overnight pass. Ok, it wasn't too late, we were just trying to stick it to The Man. Well, The Man, aka, some tattetale at the drugstore called CBM and towed the car, much to our dismay at 6am in the morning. After finally figuring out who towed the car, we made our way over to CBM. The guy at the counter was nice enough and informed us that if we'd picked up the car after hours we would have paid $95 extra...thankfully, that wasn't the case. It's a small towing place, a tad skeezy looking, but the guy was nice. The fees weren't too bad (about $200) but still totally inconvenient. I don't think I'd ever use them again if I actually WANTED my car towed, especially since I already have AAA, but I don't want to give them a bad review under the circumstances. They were nice enough and I'm sure, if you can't find your car after you parked it at Walgreens, it's resting safely at CBM. read more

My car was towed from West Covina to Fontana. The driver, Bart, was great and very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

I got a flat tire yesterday and needed roadside assistance. I set up an appointment with a representative and was assured that the driver would be at my location within 30 minutes. I also got a follow-up text message at 2:25pm confirming my appointment. The driver did not show up till almost 5pm and I only got one phone call from the driver for an update after making 3 phone calls myself. I wanted to speak to the supervisor and requested a call back. It's the following morning and I still haven't heard from a supervisor! I do NOT recommend this place, no communication and a waste of time and money! read more

Had a horrible experience with them. Showed up over an hour later. I was stranded in Alhambra and they are in El Monte and it was very early in the morning. Once they showed up the driver was very rude and would not speak to me. While he was driving me back home with my car he was swerving his huge tow truck because he was on his cell phone!!! Once I got home they charged me $90 to take my care no more than a mile to my house. I got on the phone with CBM's office and the customer services SUCKED!!!! I have used the services of this tow company more than once, and will continue to do so. Fast, friendly, affordable services for just about any jam you might get yourself into. Most recently, I ran over a curb at a shopping center where exit driveway used to be prior to construction (stop sign and "no left turn sign" we're still there!). Anyhow, it was an embarrassing situation (see pics). Called CBM and they remember their return customers by name, which was very nice. I explained the urgency of the situation... not only because my vehicle was blocking cars, but also because of the embarrassment and panic over having to get to work on time. CBM arrived within 20 minutes. Driver was very nice! I called the number again to compliment, and owner himself answered. Good people, honest small town business, affordable, friendly. I called to get a quote for a tow, it was $125. They said they would be there in fifteen minutes, it took an additional half hour (I was on the freeway). They hooked up my car and hoisted it onto their flatbed and about ten minutes later we pulled into the Tire Repair facility. Once there and before releasing my car to have the tire repaired the tow truck driver asked if I had cash. I said no and that I wished to use a credit card. He said their system was down and they could only accept cash. I spoke to the manager (Jose) to express my displeasure, he just reiterated what the driver said. I told him people shouldn't be expected to have $125 in cash and that he should have told me prior to holding my car hostage that their system was down. He said, "...you should have asked." I had to go to a nearby liquor store and pay $5 in ATM fees to pay the bill. What if I didn't have the money? What if I didn't have my ATM card? This situation could have turned very bad with me so far away from home and the tire shop about to close. This entire scenario could have and would have been averted if they told me up front they could only accept cash. I would have called the next tow company on the list. Plus, the entire gang at CBM Towing sincerely need customer service training. They come across as undisciplined brutes, lacking the cordiality and the most basic customer service mannerisms that are sorely needed when dealing with clients. In short, they have absolutely no business picking up the phone to talk to customers until they realize how lucky they are to have a potential customer calling. My advice, take your business and money elsewhere. read more

They turned a problem towing job of two cars into done and now! I found them honorable - both as to cost and time and people.

Hands down one of the kindest person I've ever met. I was crying, yes literally crying, because this man helped me out. I made a mistake and got my car towed from a parking area that I thought was legal. Turns out I was wrong and my car was towed. I recently rented an apartment for two years and was completely broke. Then my car was towed. This man was willing to help me out and I can say that this man is touched by god or my deceased parents must've called out to him to lend me a hand in my trying times. So thank you to the person at CBM Towing Inc. in El Monte at Durfee Ave for helping a poor orphan kid without even questioning it. Thank you so much.
