I would definitely recommend him. The quality of his work is exceptional and he's always willing help out where needed.

BEWARE!! NOT LICENSED…read more.. Do yourself a favor and read ALL reviews CAREFULLY! You will see many of the reviews with 5 stars didn't actually hire these people to do work for them. Megan will charm your pants off until she closes the deal, and then she will turn on you. She will make a million excuses about why things didn't get done or why they didn't show up. They will show you their license but not tell you that it has been PERMANENTLY REVOKED. They will show you their bond but not tell you it's been canceled. They will send employees to your house without providing any worker's comp insurance. And they will DEMAND money for work not yet completed. Anthony and Floors to Ceilings have been referred for criminal prosecution. Please see screenshots from the California Contractors State Licensing Board. Here is my story: I engaged with Megan, who was super responsive and in constant contact with ideas and product options. I was worried that I would need an architect and an engineer before we could take out the pony wall in my living room, so Anthony came out and confirmed it would be no problem. Once the contract was signed, they sent employees out to start painting. I questioned why they were painting when we hadn't taken out the wall. Anthony gave me a story about the order in which things needed to be done. His favorite thing to say is, "trust me; I know what I am doing; I have been doing this for over 20 years". I asked 2-3 times a week about the permit and the inspection. He tried soooo many times to convince us that we should NOT get a permit, which was not an option for me. They tried to say I never asked for a permit, but it is documented that I did and had already paid for it. The painting itself was fine, but their employees dropped white paint all over my black doors. Now I have to have all my doors repainted, which was not in my original scope of work or budget. The painting was not completed. There are still two rooms in my house that have not been touched. They never applied for a permit to take down our wall. The pony wall was opened up along with the ceiling and then abandoned that way - see pics. The electrical outlets were removed; however, the wires were not properly removed or capped; instead just shoved back into the wall. Before the new flooring was installed, I asked about padding or underlayment and was told by Megan that it would void my flooring warranty, so no underlayment was used. They abandoned the project about halfway through laying the flooring. They also left one toilet in a shower and another in my master bedroom after breaking my bed. The new contractor has said that absolutely an underlayment should've been used. We are now paying to have the floor they put down torn back up so that an underlayment can be put down first. The underlayment was revisited because of all the hallow spots we found due to their failure to clean before putting down the new floor. They couldn't even be troubled to sweep the floor first! There was dirt and even pieces of sheetrock under the new flooring. They used a sub-contractor to concrete the side of my house. There were no issues with the sub-contractor or the concrete work. They did a great job! When they abandoned the job, I had no countertops because they had already removed my granite but had yet to install the new countertops. Fortunately, I recognized Anthony's game of taking my money and not paying the people working on my job, so I paid the fabricator directly. After Floors to Ceilings abandoned the project, I was able to get my counters installed. That said, Anthony did try to get the fabricator to refuse to install the counters, but the fabricator came through since I had paid him in full. This is a cautionary tale. I hope this review prevents Anthony, Megan, and Floors to Ceilings from scamming anyone else. I have ALL my text messages and documentation that I am willing to share. If you are interested in seeing it all, DM me, and I am happy to share.

Cameron was pleasant to work with, very straightforward, and hardworking. I thought he communicated well with us, and we really liked his subcontractors (whomever he used for painting was truly wonderful). He was always pretty much on time, and who ever says that about their contractor? We'd say, "we're moving in in June," and people would just roll their eyes and say, "let's see if you're in by Christmas." Well, we moved in in June, and the place is beautiful! Of course, there were finishing touches, and for the first few weeks we were in the place, Cameron and his trusty cute dog, Comet, were always around; it was like having a bit larger family, and I thought it was fun. My husband is going to write a more technical review at some point, but from the (less involved) wife's point of view, I give him an enthusiastic thumbs up, and recommend cb construction without reservation.

Several times, I would clearly communicate about expected services agreed upon, and multiple times the incorrect materials and incorrect construction would be done. Chad has a reputation amongst multiple subcontractors that will not accept work from him now as he has a tendency to not pay his invoices. After work was completed, we were served with a failure to pay notice from a subcontractor. Chad has yet to pay our roofing company that he subcontracted. When I sent an email to him about it they responded they would look into it, but have flat out ignored my follow up emails. Only a year after their services, we have already seen issues from poor quality work. We were so glad to not have to work with them any longer. I do not recommend.

Victor (project manager/foreman) has everything in control, day to day, and does not forget a thing.  We interviewed four other contractors, and they couldn't come up with the right floorplan for our kitchen. We did not want to settle.  David designed our kitchen and more than doubled the size.  No problem moving plumbing or switching to gas from electric and finding a better home for our fridge. Our primary bathroom was completely gutted to add a stand-alone tub, and Superb designed a walk-in closet and additional hall closet taking a foot from the adjoining room, which you would never be able to tell. He has a crew for different sets of workmanship, and they know exactly what to do in a strategic time frame. They do not waste any time and clean up the projects beautifully every day.  We had completely gutted our kitchen and primary bathroom. Had the whole house rewired, new plumbing, new LED lights throughout the house, all new flooring on the first floor, and refinished all flooring upstairs.   Superb builders accommodated every wishlist we had.  Their workmanship is precise, clean and the crew are very helpful and pleasant to work with from beginning to end.   Our biggest appreciation is that David and Victor picked up their phones or returned texts right away 100%. They passed every inspection every time, and they have done the work beyond the requirements. We are so happy to know that all the work has been done properly and safely. We will always call Superb builders for all of our future projects.  I trust that they will get the job done right, and David can help design or find a beautiful solution to any difficult home layout you may have.  They do not just remodel a space, they can build a perfect new space. Thank you David, Victor and all the wonderful crew at Superb builders!

I wouldn't have been able to come up with such a wonderful design without his advices. Additionally, the cabinet vendor he recommended had great prices and they assisted with designing the kitchen layout by providing computer drawn images using software. This saved a lot of time in the planning stage. Joe was our primary point of contact from start to finish, which made things go smoothly. During project execution, Victor was an invaluable point of contact for discussing and explaining technical details about our options, especially when inevitable complications arose. When we demo'd our old kitchen we found a major code violation that was concealed and they helped us correct the issue. It cost us extra but looking back I'm happy we worked with an ethically sound contractor who does things correctly and follows the city code. Those things can be huge problems later if you try to cut corners! Overall we had a great experience with Superb Builders and would definitely hire them again. They are very professional and do great work. We ended up with our dream kitchen for less than market average prices in our area!
