met up with a friend and walked around the table's food court at brentwood mall a few times around 1:00 pm on a monday. i stopped at cazba persian grill, where i ordered the #3: ground beef and lamb loghmeh kebab. ten minutes later, it came with two skewers, and saffron rice, and a grilled tomato. the kebab was meaty and flavourful, with a rich, savoury taste and a slight saltiness that brought out the spices in the meat. the texture was tender and juicy, substantial without being greasy. the rice was fluffy and the saffron added a mild floral aroma and a subtle richness. the grilled tomato was soft and lightly charred, adding a bit of sweetness and acidity that balanced the meal. the food court itself had lots of seating and felt bright and clean, even though it was very busy. there were many food options to choose from, and the steady crowds made it clear the place was popular and lively, especially around lunchtime. read more

Newly open Persian grill in Metrotown,busy place and looks like everybody is waiting for this place to open. Its inside the mall so parking,washroom,wifi and tons of tables available. I noticed extra friendly service,Persian people works at this time and service is just excellent. I had the mixed chicken and beef with rice,well somewhat expensive but it was really good,Persian flavors are really on it. Tha grilled whole tomato is always good.The rice cooked into perfection. We had a large order of 21 Entrees placed on April 16,2026. They had everything packaged to perfection. Utensils along with Sumac and Lime juice was included. They even provided us hummus as we had never tried it before. Everyone loved the food. It's affordable, healthy and was a great way to celebrate Nowruz. read more

Suddenly I craved for lamb so I went to this Persian place in the Brentwood's Table food court. The display above showed clear pictures, number and name of each dish. Just tell the cashier a number , very easy to order even if you don't speak Farsi. The meat was cooked fresh from the grill, therefore it took a bit of time ~ 10 minutes. There 4 pieces well done to my favourite taste - truly well grilled with a little charred, brought out the best of lamb meat. If you asked me, I would come back again. The dish also came with a large tomato, 2 green chili and white yellow buttered rice. Not dry at all. Just mixed them up and you got some tomato rice! Delicious. read more

I was in the area during lunchtime and even though there are a lot of other choices in the food court, I just had to get my Cazba fix. It was a busy Friday so my order took 10 minutes to make. I appreciate that it's made to order. I got the Kubideh, two meat skewers with saffron rice and a grilled tomato. When I went to other locations they also give you a quarter raw onion, but I never eat them anyways so I didn't mind. You can also substitute half the rice for salad for $2.99. The skewers were tender, but I wish they were grilled a bit more. The rice was cooked perfectly. Overall a great cheap meal. read more

this location is in the new Brentwood mall food court. Service was fine. its a takeout counter, not much to say about this. We got the beef and chicken plates. The meats were cooked and seasoned very nicely, no complaints there. Juicy, flavorful. The rice was bland but cooked well. My main gripe is the value. Prices are high, and the plates dont come with much. 2 pickled peppers, and a grilled tomato. i wanted some hummus and they give you a small hummus portion (a little sauce cup size) for $2 which is really steep when its about 2 tbsp of hummus. The grilled chicken portion was very small, but the beef skewers were ok size. The rice portion is excessive and unnecessary. As far as the venue, well its a beautiful new food court in the mall. But it has nothing to do with the actual restaurant. read more

I think this is still one of the nicer food court options at the mall. Inflation has made prices go up and portion size shrink over time. Food quality remains consistent despite the smaller portions. Service is a hit or miss. Some days, the staff are more pleasant to interact with than other days. Usually, I do not expect much service at the food court as long as I get my food in a timely manner. There is usually plenty of seating available at the mall unless it is the weekend. read more

One of the vendors in the new improved food court. Parking is free outside the mall but there is a paid lot underneath the new section. Being a mall food court, the pricing is a bit more than the other locations for this chain. I had the koobideh special. 2 ground beef skewers with grilled tomato, a pile of rice, and some pickled peppers. Delicious and huge portion, though the majority of it is rice. I left stuffed. I waited 30 minutes and noticed the lady was cutting the burnt parts off the meat on the grill. The staffs had their phone and wallet in the food prep area. After 25 minutes, I went up to the pickup area to ask about my order. The lady rudely said okay your food is coming soon. I received my food and it was so burnt. The salmon had became flaky from being overcooked and the lamb was dry. The vegetables had burnt lines on them. The portions of meat were small. This was not food I'd wait 30 minutes for The fact it wasn't busy and it took so long, and the quality of food was completely charred. read more

My first meal at the Brentwood mall food court. I've always been fond of Persian food and culture, and was delighted to see this option in Brentwood! Overall pretty good food for someone who hasn't tried a variety of Persian cuisine. I like they are grilling the meat live, and the meat come with a smoky flavor. Cazba used to be a very good Persian restaurant until they have spread out and opened more locations. This is my 3rd time ordering the Kebab Koobide and they're overdoing the meat. It should be tender & juicy but recently its always been tough and hard to eat. Why is it that one business will start to be known and frequented by people, they're quality and service always goes down. Poor quality and subpar standards. And another location is opening at Metrotown - I wonder what will happen next. Let this review be an eye opener to the owners. IF they even read the reviews. read more

Typically I love going to Cazba if it's an option in the food court. Today I witnessed the manager at the Cazba location in Lougheed mall act like an a$$hole. There was this elderly couple, who order a chicken and beef platter. When they received their food it was packed in take out containers, but they sat down to eat a little before heading out. The older gentleman noticed it was the wrong order but couldn't bother lining up again, as the line up got longer after they had received their food. Minutes later the manager starts making a commotion to his employees, he then sends over the youngest employee to find the elderly couple to tell them they have the wrong order. But what he wanted the couple to do was to pay more money for the wrong order they gave them. The elderly man explained why would you give me the wrong one and expect me to pay more? You can take it back and bring me the correct one. But the employee said that he already started eating it so he should pay. When I looked over the elderly man barely touched his food. The young employee reluctantly goes back to the manager to explain what was said. The manager comes out in a huff, being all rude and loud demanding the elderly man come pay the extra $5 cause the platter he was eating costed that much more. Even when the elderly man explained the same thing to him, the manager stood over the elder & demanded he pay the extra $5. So to not continue the argument and cause this couple any more embarrassment the elderly man went up and paid for the extra cost. But while he did the manager continue to berate the older man about their own stupid mistake! People surrounding the area were all shaking their heads at this manager about how rude and disrespectful he was towards this elderly couple. So please go to any other Cazba location besides this one as they have terrible customer service and they don't have their act together. Don't get me wrong I love their food but I don't love these guys' attitudes and how they treat their customers at this specific location. Go to the one in Brentwood or anywhere else for that matter. read more

Even though the lamb/beef kabob was juicy, there was very little flavour, it lacked seasoning. The rice had no flavour or seasonings and dry. Came with 1/4 of a tomato and a pickled pepper. Should have included a side salad and sauces, but nothing. The only sauce they had was bottled Chinese siracha , which doesn't make any sense. Never again. read more

This food court is one of the best in Vancouver. More upscale food stall and this Persian Grill is really good. I had the Lamb shank for only $14.99 and it melted in your mouth. For the amount of portion you receive, it fills you up. I had too much rice leftover, so I went back to order another meat dish to accompany my leftover rice for dinner. They recommended me the beef skewer and it was extremely tender, and tasty reheated for dinner. The staff are really friendly and the place is clean and saw them washing their hands frequently. Can't go wrong with Persian food. More food courts should have this. While waiting for the beef skewer the guy beside me mentioned to try the No 1. Chicken skewer. I will next time. Only problem I wish they were in Metrotown, closer to my home! But when you really like something, you will travel a little further to have a nice meal! Wishing them much success always.
