The clothing that I saw in the store is what I would consider casual clothing or work clothing. Depends on your work situation if it would be considered "business casual." Nowadays, that term is used rather loosely. Their clothing is not inexpensive but it is very good quality. A pair of good work pants will outlast two pairs of jeans so you do get what you pay for. Until now, I have really only seen their clothing in their catalog. Their catalog is not photographs of their clothing. It is more of an illustrated catalog so it is hard to get a good feel for what their clothing looks like. Because of that, I have always been a little hesitant to buy it. After seeing it with my own eyes and also seeing how well it feels and fits, I am now a fan. Bottom line - Quality clothing that will last a long time. I've been trying to overhaul my wardrobe and decided to stop in to see if I could find anything. Their clothing is cute and it's size inclusive (XS-4XL). The quality of the clothing is pretty good considering the prices are moderate. The staff has always been very friendly whenever I've shopped at their stores. They're great about getting a dressing room started for you so you're not having to carry a huge pile of clothes around the store. They write your name on the dressing room door which is a nice personal touch. Blanca was so helpful during this particular visit! She grabbed clothing for me if a size didn't work and made suggestions for different clothes to try. The other employees were very nice as well, but Blanca was a gem! Besides clothes, they also have jewelry, accessories, and shoes. I've bought a few pairs of shoes at Maurices. I still wear some of them now and they were purchased over 5 years ago. Again, the quality is decent considering the price point. If you're in the Clear Lake area, then you have the pleasure of not having to drive out of your way to shop at the store. For the Pearlanders (or Pearlandonians, or Pearlandites; what is the proper demonym for the citizens of Pearland?!) this is our closest option (unless you're on the west side in which that case I suggest you visit the store in Rosenberg).

She's a (dark-skinned, black,…read moremasculine-presenting female) I had an appalling and completely unacceptable experience at this Journeys location (11200 Broadway St, Pearland, TX 77584) on June 13, 2025, around 8:00 PM. I went in to exchange a pair of Crocs I ordered online. A female employee named Zoe greeted me and asked how she could help. When I told her I was there for an exchange and handed her the shoebox, she looked clearly annoyed and said, "Nahhh, I don't need that, the manager can do that for you," in a rude and dismissive tone. She then abruptly pulled her hand away from the box. As I walked away, I clearly overheard her say to a male coworker, "Yeah, get the f*** out of my face,"* followed by both of them laughing. She obviously thought I wouldn't hear her but I did. This kind of vulgar, inappropriate language has no place in any workplace, especially not in front of customers. After finishing the exchange, I went to my car then turned around and went back inside to report what happened. I asked to speak with the manager, Alexis, and calmly requested that Zoe come out and apologize directly. Zoe came over and said, "I apologize for what I said, but I wasn't talking about you. I never said that TO YOU," in a defensive, unprofessional tone completely lacking sincerity or accountability. Instead of apologizing respectfully, she deflected and denied any wrongdoing. I asked Alexis for the corporate number, and she replied, "You want my boss's number?" I said yes, and she gave it to me. Alexis handled the situation very poorly. She appeared annoyed and bored, showing a lack of maturity and professionalism for someone in a management role. Instead of taking my complaint seriously and supporting a resolution, she gave me her "bosses" number in a dismissive way and made no effort to address the issue properly. Let me be clear: I would NEVER make up a situation like this. This is the first time in my life I've had to walk back into a store to report an employee for such outrageous and disgusting behavior. The way both Zoe and Alexis handled this was not just disappointing it was flat out disrespectful. I submitted a full complaint through the company website and no surprise I never received any follow-up. Because of this experience, I will never shop at this Journeys again. Honestly, I'm seriously considering not shopping at Journeys at all moving forward. I'm posting this review so others are aware, and I truly hope corporate sees this and takes action.

She helped with getting my size, ordering and explaining how to wear the items I rented. This is my 2nd time coming to this location and it will probably be my go-to for renting tuxedos and suits.
