Automotive -- this place is absolutely unacceptable, downright disgusting. I arrived at 4:45 PM for a 5:00 PM headlight‑restoration appointment. By 6:00 PM, nothing. When I asked for an update, the front‑desk guy casually told me they were "halfway done." The same employee who checked me in, came out again at 6:20 PM to say the job was finished but they needed 30 more minutes to "let it set." I didn't get my car back until 6:49 PM. Then, to make it even worse, at 6:49 PM I received a text saying my appointment was cancelled. Cancelled, I'm guessing, to keep it off their records. This little boys are deceptive, unprofessional, and completely unreliable. The way they operate is downright nasty. I have three vehicles, and none of them will ever return to this business. Still terrible! Even the curbside stinks. Send you emails and reminders of where to pick up your items & it's WRONG af. No phone number to call. Just wasting gas and time in an area they don't use anymore. Something told me to check my app, almost wasn't, thinking it was more organized/ streamline like the Rowlett location. Nope. If i didn't I would have been sitting longer & more stupid than I already was. Whoever packed my stuff had less sense than a monkey because my burger buns are dam near frozen solid. I JUST HAVE TO come do this 5 STAR review for the Walmart Auto Dept location on Fairmont in Houston - specifically for JAAASOOON (JASON) my comic relief, witty, super helpful & informative - to Rolaaandoooo (Rolando) for confirming & personally relating to dreading having to possibly go to a different & VERY POORLY MANAGED & GASLIGHTS THEIR CUSTOMERS Wa'Hell'Mart (that gives Walmart a BAD NAME), you made me wanna stay at this Walmart & do business & take care of my concerns here even more so, thank you, and then to JEEEEEFF (Jeff) & Aanthoonyyyy (Anthony) you two were the cherry & spinkles on top of a sundae, Jeff (team leader) reached out to Anthony (Manager) THE Hail Mary team that brought it home- saved me from having to go in circles & from even having to go to Wa'HELL'Mart at all, by stepping up to the plate like grown ups & heavy hitters do, & took care of BIIZZ-NAAASS, frickin took care of that s#*+. While it was being diagnosed, the clerk was like a multi tasking whirling tasmanian devil ninja, knocking down several customers at once & in comes Jason‍‍, like a tag team of Avengers,‍ idk if he's like Ironman, Dr.Strange or Star Lord or maybekinda like a Jack Sparrow, Sherlock Holmes, or Bugs Bunny (asks me what's up, what's going on) idk- but he's making me laugh & educating me on specs on the car battery, the car itself, the tires on my truck, the tires that are on sale & what Walmart has for offers & on sale, (Lawdy its was almost fun, dare I say that???) In the end, it was a weirdly wonderful experience & I was over the moon to have everything remedied within one trip there. Walked out with exactly what I needed, a no charge swap for the correct car battery, a good idea of where I will buy tires, at least replace one, for apprx. $10 more than buying a used 225/75/r16@$45-(gonna do more research on that), got a 3.5" framing nail gun 50% off while waiting around bcz a customer came to check the price a 2nd time B4 purchase & I happen to be in earshot when he came to the counter. I came in looking like a total M-E-S-S, my energy was dwindling ‍& I was going down pretty fast, my brain was short circuiting at best & I felt my eyeballs ‍starting to spin in their sockets- these guys grounded me, didn't judge me for how I looked or for my energy being low & starting to spin out, they supported me & handled me & the situation with no judgement, completely professional, humble, approachable, down to earth, totally grounded & yet kept things moving, light, easy, definitely let you know their focus was on 'really helping you' in a 'very noticable' AND AUTHENTIC ‍ -not fake-way of customer service & care...I really can't say enough of how they all made me feel‍ & the HIGH LEVEL of service - they were really 'giving it' - I just truly felt heard and seen-it has moved me so much, I just had to -JUST HAD TO- break it off for them & let it be known out loud that they are appreciated, heard & seen too, thank you very VERY VERY MUCH, from the bottom of my y'all deserve the recognition & something special done to honor you publicly as well as a raise. We will NEVER order from Walmart delivery again. We will do so from HEB or Krogers!!! Why you may ask. This is not the first time that our food is stated as being delivered and we did not get it. We live in a senior apartment setting with LARGE apartment numbers. How can you leave the order at the wrong apartment is beyond me. When we call Walmart to cancel the order they said it would take over a week to refund the money. This is unacceptable customer service. If I could rate them a 0 I would. Start with the parking...not enough handicap parking, parking for LE, but they park next to the building! The deli..1 woman working, a 1/2 dozen people waiting with other employees walking around behind the deli counter...the one woman doesn't even speak or understand basic English...had to get someone to explain a woman's request/order. I did ask for a manager and she responded quickly and after explaining the issues she promptly got more help. I know the main issue is nobody wants to work, but you think of the prices were paying they'd be able to hire some competent, qualified employees And don't get me started on the self check out we're not getting a discount for using self check out and you have five lines open I guess which isn't too bad. I'll give them kudos on that one as the lady checking me out was the only high light of my shopping experience. read more

I came looking for some charcoal for this weekend and for a super Walmart as clean as it can be. However, what I needed was easy to get to however, I ran into a situation. The charcoal that I needed which is on sale I couldn't get because their system Walmart did not not have it set yet. Also I came across a shelf of charcoal with a sign above it and no other signs around that said another brand (well known) was $1.97. The front end manager was very accommodating and she had to get the manager on duty. A young nice looking intelligent man walked up and the best he could do was sell me 1 bag at $1.97 but not homer the ad price of the other charcoal. ( FYI. I had my basket loaded up with 3 $1.97 but I would take one Jd he would honor the ad. He couldn't but that's ok. I understood the power he really wheeled. Came in today to browse some car stereos and the young guy I spoke to told me that I could look at the ones he would bring from the back. He reassured me that they were locked up. I said OK. Once I get to his location, this other guy is telling the young guy that the stereos are locked up and he doesn't have any access to getting them. He tells me that when the Walmart company sent the lock box for the stereos, that they forgot to send a key to open the box. He says come back next week--maybe the key will be here. Now, that is the weakest lie I've ever heard. I just told him OK, I'll come back next week to see if they still locked up. Even the young guy didn't even know what a single din nor a double din audio system was. He was clueless and didn't look to want to bothered. read more

It's Walmart. You've seen one, you've seen them all... Like most people I know, I avoid Walmart when I can. Unfortunately, the free grocery fairy doesn't know where I live, so I have to buy my own groceries. HOWEVER, there's this wonderful thing called grocery pick-up. It's a game changer lol. Now I can order my groceries online and pick them up the next day at the most convenient time slot for me. SOMEONE ELSE gathers my groceries and puts them in my car FOR FREE! Here's the down side, this particular location kept messing up my order. I was using a different Walmart and they were great, but this one was closer. I switched. The first couple weeks, it was fine. Then, there were mistakes in my order 4-5 weeks in a row. Items that I paid for were missing. They would say they didn't have something and instead of replacing it with other items like they were supposed to, they wouldn't. My husband would go inside to see if he could find a similar item, and what do you know? They had EXACTLY what I wanted. I called to speak to a manager, and after being on hold for LITERALLY 20 minutes... I spoke with Jeff. He's the grocery manager. Very nice guy! He assured me that there wouldn't be another issue, and I told him that I would give them ONE more chance. It's been about a month since then, and things have been great. I haven't had a problem, my items have been in stock, nothing has been missing, and I don't have to go inside Walmart for my groceries. Yay!! read more

I am so disappointed in this Walmart! I have been doing store pick up for probably the last three years. I spent a lot of money at this store. This past Saturday I had a grocery order that was over $280. My husband picked it up for me because I wasn't feeling well. When he got home, it was discovered that all the meat I had ordered, some cheese, and milk that I ordered was not there. Had to call the store. Was on the phone trying to get answers for about a half hour. Eventually, I was told to come back to the store which I did. I let them know I was there. Waited for another half hour. Nothing had to call the number again And about 15 minutes later, my stuff finally came out. When the guy finally came out, he walked over to the passenger side of the car which is where I was. I've rolled down the window to have a discussion about what I was missing and what he had brought out and he just started handing me bags through the window instead of asking if we wanted them, put it in the back. Needless to say it was a horrible experience and I'm very disappointed! My Walmart, grocery shopping days just might be over! read more

I even ask employee to fix price in system so no one pay wrong price. but she said i need to call 800 Walmart number and complain about price. And i did call same day. No resolution. I think they are doing this price practice with intention. If some one check price and complain then override price. But if you don't then they succeed to steal 25-30% extra money from your pocket and you don't even know. If more and more people complain, they will have to put stop to their wrong practice. The first employee was a lady by the cashier area and the second was by the home/ cooking area. They told me they'd call someone and that I should go stand by it. Dropped my car off at 11:30am to get an oil change. Not even 10 mins later I asked the lady at the counter if they could replace on tire, to which they changed the order and said it was not a problem. I left because they told me it would talk about 2 hours. I got busy and couldn't get back until 2:30pm. When I pulled up my car was pulled to the side as if it was done. I went inside and asked a different lady at the counter if I could pay. She told me that they were doing my paperwork and it would take a couple minutes. Then I was told that they had lost my keys and Haden's even started on my tire... Need less to say it's 5:15 and I was just told that they have one car ahead of me for the tire... even though I was here long before the other car. I've been extremely patient and haven't asked them how much longer since I was told they were doing the paperwork. The First Lady to help me told the men that they needed to get my car situated because I had been here forever. I'm only giving 2 stars because she was working her ass off and doing her job and it's not her fault the men working in the back are incompetent. UPDATE: It's 7:30 and they just informed me they don't even have my tire in stock. So that means I've been waiting on them to tell me they couldn't help me for 5 hours... never coming back. I was asking her about an item off the shelf and she had a very smart mouth with an addition of never answering my question. I'm giving Walmart 4 stars because today I have visited a number stores (JCPenney, Kohl's, Target, Children's Place, & Walmart) and of all the stores Walmart was BY FAR the cleanest, most well-kept, and organized of all them. (I know! I'll wait while you catch your breath.) I walked in the Garden Center and found it virtually cleaned out (Christmas in August I suppose). As my daughter and I walked through the store we found many employees actually working (what were they thinking?!?). They were stocking the shelves, maintaining the shelves, and in the clothes department multiple women were organizing the clothes. I'm surprised that of all the stores I visited today that Walmart was the only one doing this. My daughter found dresses on organized racks and shorts on organized kiosks. While there women were folding clothes and putting them back on the correct racks. I'm not exaggerating that the other stores were not doing this, had not done a this, and desperately needing to do this. The only section that looks unorganized was the back-to-school supply sections. But honestly, I think that would take a miracle, and after today's debacle shopping I was too impressed with Walmart to really knock them for that. Kudos Walmart! I don't know if it's new management, the new remodeling, or employees and management having a work ethic. Regardless, you've best the competition in prices and cleanliness. read more

I was directed to Money Services where there were 6 people in line and one person going slow as molasses. Why can't they get more people when they see there is a need? This is ridiculous! I can not get a money order here to save my life every single time I arrive there is nobody at money services or there is only one clerk which makes no sense to why there is 4 computer checkout stations. 1st of the month is when you think they would have the most traffic for money orders due to rent, and of course they only have 1 clerk working money services and now supposedly the money order machine is down. Returned a razor bike that didn't work, was super frustrated. The manager Vicki came to customer service then assistant manager Toya came and they went above and behind with kindness to take care of a frustrated customer like me. They really deserve kuddos for dealing with my frustrations so well. They were able to fix my issue and left me leaving better than I was before I came for my return. Downloaded the Walmart app to avoid walking around for a price check scanner. Looking to purchase blinds for a rental property and realized that, not only the width something to consider but length. (48L vs 64L) I spent 20 minutes looking thru several blinds, as they are mixed together and none are where they are supposed to be placed. When I went to checkout, before I can even scan my first blind a Walmart employee started yelling at me saying "those blinds aren't on sale so don't ask!". I didn't understand what she was talking about and I guess my confused face made her approach closer. "Those blinds aren't on sale!". I told her I haven't even scanned one. She proceeded to scan one and asked if that was the price I'd seen on my Walmart app. It was $8 dollars more. Apparently, it's cheaper on Walmart app vs at store. "To get that pricing you must order online!". What is the purpose for the scanner feature? To let you know the store is overcharging? I don't get it. She said I couldn't even talk to customer service! Waste my time. read more

Now I understand that people steal items however, the majority of us honest customers simply would like to walk in get what we need pay and leave. I sat there along with 5 other customers waiting to get items and no one was working or available in the cosmetic area. Wall mart if you are going to implement this new way of servicing customers make it more convenient and efficient.
