The owner, I think her name is Naveera, was very kind with her guidance and suggestions. I was only looking for young kids' clothes size 2 years to 3 years. The things I liked, unfortunately, the size was not available, but I decided to buy a few sets. Like other desi businesses, price tags were missing, so I hesitated to pick up the clothes. The person who was helping me said, don't worry about the prices, we will manage, I looked at her, and she seemed sincere, so I told her I was more interested in the one she didn't have the size available. She said these are very nice and again she will give me reasonable prices. She took all my stuff to the counter, and usually, the person who helped likes to write down the invoice so they know what customers' needs were. When I went to the counter, there was this gentleman. I am sure the owner greeted me and started questions like is this my first visit, where I am from etc., now. Macy's or target will not ask you for personal things, so enjoy might it last. My sales lady was standing next to him packing the stuff. After a long conversation, I held the bag and rushed out because I got late for the second appointment. I came home and checked. I was charged a completely unknown amount (no price tag items), and no discount was provided from the sales personas promised. Yes, it's my fault. I should have checked my receipt before leaving the store, so I called them and asked for the same person who could help me. So I asked her what happend? She replied I didn't say anything, so she charged me full prices. I wondered what was the total cost since there were no price tags? So here is the Red Flag. If they say don't worry, we will take care of the price at the counter, do not pick the item till you know the price. I hope this can save you some frustrations.

She used to have a boutique in her house and she was kind enough to allow me to come during crazy hours and days just to look/buy outfits. Then, her business grew and now she has a store. Thankfully I had built a business relationship with her that I could email/message/text her to get an idea of what was in stock. This was extremely helpful for me because I'm big on online shopping and I live in Saudi so I can't easily visit her store location. Fariha was kind enough to send me pictures and videos of items I would possibly be interested in. The videos had detailed explanation. I would chase quick pay her the money and have the item reserved for me when I arrive. Stress free. Why do I like her company better than the rest? 1) At the other store that is next to fariha's they play a shady game of not putting the price on the clothes so they can name any price they want to whenever someone asks them. I am a Pashtun and often times get confused for an Arab. When I went to a store near fariha's I asked the price of an outfit and I was quoted a very high price whereas when my mother in law (who is Indian) asked for the price in Urdu she was given a price 100 dollars less than what I was told. Whether you think that's fair or not, at least with Fariha the prices are clearly labeled. No guessing/bargaining game there. 2) At poshak which is a few stores down, their outfits are outdated and unreasonably priced. At fariha's Store everything is new and I believe are original and very fairly priced. 3) Unlike other businesses that are pushy and rude (that you often see at the eid bazaar) you will not get that with Fariha's. I won't lie, when I first went to the store I was disheartened to not see Fariha there, but the young girl who works there is just as knowledgeable, polite, and accommodating. I love how they are with the times and have an active instagram account. I follow them religiously on instagram so that I can see what products they have. You will not ever be disappointed with the work and price of the outfits you get.

Their billing system doesn't have a display facing the customer , so you don't really know what they are billing . I specifically asked the counter service lady if there's no display for me to verify and they booth she said she would tell me the price of each item at billing she didn't . And come home and I saw I was billed twice for one item amount 32$ and then I had to go and explain the issue and almost denying that I even bought anything 2 days ago as their system didn't show anything . Then they seemed confused if I returned some stuff which was non returnable but then one of the h ladies came and she went in the back of the store to verify if I was telling the truth I think by going to brought the cctv footage . I decided to visit Houston to try to find an outfit that matched both my expectations and budget. Princess Couture satisfied both requirements! Hiba was so patient and helpful. She helped me find outfits for both my sister and I. My sister was not with me but had specific requests that princess couture was able to help me meet! Some of the pieces that I wanted to purchase were not the right size. The team was able to take my measurements and alter the outfits for my custom fit. All salwar suits came with sleeves which we had added on. All of these alterations were done within three hours and I was able to take them home with me to Austin that same day. Neither will it be featured on page 43 of In Style magazine as one of the hottest boutiques in the nation to cop those new Louboutins. But, in my opinion, it's one of the best places to get accessories for shoes - and they have decent sales. This was my DSW before I knew DSW existed (shrug). I had major foot surgery as a child, and really had to get into the orthopaedic shoe wearing stage at way too early of an age. I mean, those big blue post-surgical strappy shoes were just not fashionable - at all. Not that I was a little diva/fashionista in the making, but my mother had a really difficult time finding shoes that were appropriate for my age & with enough support. Of course, I wanted the flat jellies and blinking sneakers (there I go telling my age again) that everyone else was rocking. That wasn't happening.... National Brand happened to carry just the shoes I needed, that didn't make me look like a Grandma. They actually kept a pretty decent inventory throughout the years; and, I think the customer service set the bar for any other place I've ever shopped in, during my adult life.
