I love Cava on Oleander Dr.! The food is always delicious and I always create my own bowl! Thursday, March 16, 2023 I went in on my lunch break ordered my bowl with spinach and super greens as the base. I added traditional hummus, eggplant, and crazy feta with 1/2 grilled chicken and 1/2 braised lamb, cucumber, and kalamata olives. I also ordered my favorite pita chips and a sparkling raspberry lime water. When I went to pay I realized I did not have my wallet. I remembered I had put it in my gym bag the night before. I was so embarrassed. I told Katie who was was ringing me up that I needed to check my car. My gym bag and wallet were not there. I told her I was so sorry I need to run home and I would be back to pick my food up. She said not to worry, we've got you. I was so shocked and so hungry I could not believe I heard her right. I told her where I work and that I come to Cava often and I would be back to pay her back. She said it's on us. I was so pleasantly surprised! Thank you so much Katie!!! That was so sweet of you! I frequent this Cava location often, and the food is consistently delicious. I've never had any issues with this establishment before. However, during my recent visit, I couldn't help but notice some concerning hygiene habits from our server, Otto. Throughout the meal preparation, he frequently touched/scratched his face, rubbed his nose, and adjusted his hair and clothes, all while wearing gloves and handling our plates and pita wraps. Despite this, I must acknowledge the hard work of the other staff members who were diligently preparing meals and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. While I understand that everyone has habits, especially with personal grooming, I hope the restaurant can emphasize the importance of proper hygiene practices among its staff. Despite this issue, I would still recommend Cava for its tasty dishes, but I hope they address this matter for the sake of their customers' health and satisfaction. read more

First time at any Cava and the location in Wilmington, NC on International (Mayfaire Towne Center) was amazing! There were three of us in our party and Terrance could see that we had never been there before so he explained the whole process and menu to us while we were in line. That was so helpful! The food was so good and everyone loved their choices. I don't think you can go wrong with anything you get unless you don't like certain foods but I like everything so this was perfect for me as everything was fresh and made in house. Terrance even came over to our table to check on us and told us about the selection of drinks that they offer and they were so tasty and refreshing! CAVA is such a wonderful place to come and enjoy a meal especially after working out at the Fitness Center I go to which is right across the street. The healthy nutritional options as well as the friendly and skilled staff make CAVA one of my favorite places to stop and refuel my body with there variety of combinations that always leave me feeling fulfilled as well as good about choosing to eat a meal that I won't regret later on. read more
