Dr. Bleiweiss treated me for two problems: shoulder pain and chronic shingles. With no surgery, Dr. Bleiweiss repaired my partially torn rotator cuff and eliminated rheumatoid arthritis using ozone therapy. I feel as though I received a brand new shoulder with an unlimited full range of motion! In addition, Dr. Bleiweiss dramatically reduced the frequency of outbreaks and the level of severe pain that I suffered from shingles using ozone therapy. My quality-of-life has improved dramatically! I am grateful to Dr. Bleiweiss!

I will post this same review on several sites. Feel free to contact me via email.

The leader of my team, Craig Soriano, DPT, is skilled, kind and professional. The most striking aspect of this therapy group is the energy in the room, and the remarkable way this group works together. I've been here on a variety of days and times, and each time they have smoothly flowed from client to client correcting alignment, giving instruction and encouragement, offering kindness. As a nurse, I can tell you that this kindness and smooth cooperation is a valuable part of a healing environment. Good job, JAG!! Update: I've been coming another month and these folks do NOT disappoint! I've come late for appointments, early and on the wrong day but they are unfailing in their kindness and effort to accommodate me Craig Soriano, DPT has continued to update and adjust my treatment to keep my recovery on track. He's both skilled and professional, a great leader of this excellent team. A special shout out to Amanda, who consistently steps to my side to make adjustments in my form so I get the maximum from every exercise. These folks really know how to work together, and I'm very appreciative!

Although Sheema was knowledgeable and kind, the physical therapy space was so lackluster and disappointing. The towels were ripped, the machines were worn down. I never received a follow up regarding the exercises I should be doing at home. An overall disappointing experience.

The Myokinetix team is the best!…read more I came to Myokinetix with a nagging shoulder pain that prevented me from comfortably lifting weights overhead (pressing, snatching) and doing dynamic hanging movements like pull-ups, toes-to-bar and muscle-ups. My usual tricks did not help to make me feel better and I was getting frustrated by my limited range-of-motion. The team took the time to teach me about how the shoulder is supposed to move and how to activate the muscles around the shoulder to stabilize it. I walked away from every session with movements to practice (complete with video demonstrations!) before lifting - as well as accessory exercises to strengthen the muscles to engage back and chest muscles to prevent future pain and injury. After just a few sessions, I feel confident I can walk into any workout with the right tools to keep my shoulder moving the way it's supposed to! I don't anticipate having to return to Myokinetix because they set me up for long term success. -Emily Field RD

I rarely write negative reviews, but I am so upset after my experience that I feel compelled to do…read moreso. I contacted this practice after the athletic trainer at my doctor's office recommended them. I had previously received physical therapy at another athlete-centered facility in the area and was looking for one that would take my insurance. My initial inquiry was to find out if they accepted my insurance and made an appointment. They said they did accept my insurance and asked for my policy and group number. I was told that someone would contact me to schedule me after they verified with my insurance carrier. This should have been a red flag for me, as practices typically schedule appointments while verifying insurance coverage. I didn't hear back for two and a half days. When I finally heard back, the person who called me explained how they do things, and everything sounded good and similar to my previous athlete-centered physical therapy. I even commented to the representative that it sounded exactly like their competitor. I was taken aback, however, that the representative had never heard of the competing practice as they have several locations and have been in business for many years. That should have been the second red flag. Only after 20 minutes did the representative finally mention that my insurance was not accepted and that the evaluation would be $350. I expressed that it would not work for me and said that I was initially told that my insurance was accepted. She said there must have been some confusion. I feel like I've been scammed with a bait and switch. Not to mention that waiting nearly 3 days to get back to someone who called to make an appointment for physical therapy due to an injury is completely unprofessional and IMO unethical. They may be the best practitioners in the world, but their business practices are misleading and sales-focused. In retrospect, the 20-minute call that ended when I discovered they actually did not accept my insurance was reminiscent of a timeshare pitch! After my experience, I found reviews on Indeed that say the practice is cash-based and not reliant on insurance. As their business model is cash-based, I can only speculate that they told me my insurance was accepted to mislead me intentionally and hope to win me over as a cash customer after the representative's sales pitch. I have no idea why it took them nearly three days to get back to me. I immediately called my previous athlete-focused physical therapy facility, which my insurance insurance is out of network with, and made an appointment. They called me back within an hour to confirm that I would be a cash patient and that each session would be $150. I asked them about packages, as I know I had purchased them in the past, and they offered me two different options that lowered the per-session cost. I immediately purchased the packages and am looking forward to returning to a transparent, high-quality practice.
