I'm sitting in the therapy gym having completed my 4th week of therapy with this wonderful team of professionals. The leader of my team, Craig Soriano, DPT, is skilled, kind and professional. The most striking aspect of this therapy group is the energy in the room, and the remarkable way this group works together. I've been here on a variety of days and times, and each time they have smoothly flowed from client to client correcting alignment, giving instruction and encouragement, offering kindness. As a nurse, I can tell you that this kindness and smooth cooperation is a valuable part of a healing environment. Good job, JAG!! I know you're not meant to judge a book by its cover but my initial impression of JAG PT from the building aligned with my experience inside of it. Although Sheema was knowledgeable and kind, the physical therapy space was so lackluster and disappointing. The towels were ripped, the machines were worn down. I never received a follow up regarding the exercises I should be doing at home. An overall disappointing experience. read more

Horrible services. Not enough therapists for the amount of patients they have booked at once. You're left waiting around in between exercises, and you don't interact with the therapists much, but rather their assistants who don't know much. I'm also still getting bills 6 months after ending my therapy. Would not recommend to anyone. The only good thing is they are flexible with appointment times available. read more

Shweta is an awesome PT who is always upbeat and a pleasure to work with. She has helped me with my osteoarthritis in my knees and is well versed in all the exercises that has help me strengthen my core muscles around my knees. Which in turn has reduced my pain and swelling. She's very kind, attentive, knowledgeable, and most importantly, CARES about her clients. She actually treats you 1:1. She also goes the extra mile. She has shared and summarized the clinical practice guidelines for my condition for me. She has shared very good information. She has also done hands on treatment which has been extremely helpful. I spent just under a year at the Newport NJ office. I cannot say enough good t good things about the staff. They are a dedicated bunch of professionals. My PT - Kevin goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and truly understand where the pain is. He is skilled and has a great sense of humour. They take their time and work with you. Initially, at JAG I enjoyed a fun and dedicated therapy session by the physical therapist. This is especially critical, as we come with physical pains to resolve. The office staff is efficient and goes beyond necessary to create an atmosphere of relax in entry. Unfortunately, a second visit, I was unknowingly, placed with a trainee, who obviously had no customer care training. I was neglected and not given direction for the exercises. I made an appointment here after being prescribed physical therapy by my doctor. It's for 915am. I show up at 905 to ensure the paperwork gets completed and am finished at 918. It's 925, I am waiting. 935, waiting. 945, waiting. At 950 I asked for my money back and leave. 6-7 other people had come since I arrived and were seen, but the explanation given to me was that I am new. Went to JAG ONE for my knee arthritis and it's my first ever physical therapy experience. Nathan the PT and his assistant Dani are thoughtful, helpful and hard working, and there are always staffs available to assist you. Nathan gave me effective exercises and he analyzed how I walk so he fixed my shoes by stuffing under insole which was a big help. I would definitely come back in the future if I need PT. read more

Riddhi Chheda was an amazing physical therapist. she is always managing all of her patients very well and is on top of everyone making sure they are getting better. I am really enjoying my time at jag-one in west orange. I started coming here after I had wrist surgery and I've been working with Eric (one of the occupational therapists) for weeks. He has been really helpful and supportive of my healing journey, and I absolutely recommend him for all of your hand and wrist pain needs! This location is also really good with time management- I've never had to wait for an appointment and I know exactly how long I'm going to be there and I can always find appointment times that work for me. I spent six months, rehabbing from a horrific accident, in a wheelchair at Jag One physical therapy. I was at the Westfield, New Jersey location. I cannot say enough about how wonderful an experience it was. The clinical director, Lisa Sullivan, is a consumate professional. Moreover, her team is wonderful. They are caring, compassionate and professional in every sense of the word. Also, her support staff is excellent in every sense of the word. Pain free in one visit!! Not the norm with PT, which is why I have to leave this review. When I went to my first appt, my neck was so sore after months of pain and me trying to stretch on my own. The JAG-ONE PT in Chatham NJ, KONRAD ROSLONEK, PT, DPT was simply fabulous. Knowledgable and experienced, he knew immediately how to treat my neck. I literally left that first visit with zero pain. I recommend JAG-One and Marissa highly! I went there after tearing two ligaments and come cartilage in my hips, along with having IT band issues. I was skeptical at first because JAG has so many facilities. I wrote it off as a big business that wouldn't be as concerned for their patients as their bottom line. I was pleasantly surprised. Marissa and one of her colleagues spent an hour and a half with me, working closely and attentively. They gave me several exercises, showed my how to use a roller, helped with stretches and body mechanics, and used another roller on my abductor (IT band) that was painful, but incredibly effective. I left the session with no pain--the first time I'd been pain-free in at least a month--and walking normally, without a limp. I can't wait to go back to JAG and Marissa as soon as they re-open! read more

I absolutely enjoy my sessions. When you first walk in you're greeted with a smile by the receptionists, they know you by name and make sure to greet you by it. This is so welcoming that even on the days I don't feel like being there, when I show up I'm instantly in a better mood. The thing I love the most is not only has my therapist Beth made me feel comfortable and confident in the process to rehabilitation, she has made it her mission to become my friend. I'm excited to work with her every time i step into a session. Not to mention the facility is nice and clean, and everyone on the team makes it a mission to be personable, and will help keep you on the right track. Came to Jag-One for frozen shoulder. It's my first ever physical therapy experience and I didn't know what to expect. Ryan, my main therapist, has been great. In our first session, we spent time discussing my condition and he took his time explaining what the process of therapy would be- which made me feel comfortable and confident about my recovery. He is knowledgeable, empathetic and pleasant. Amanda, who assists Ryan is also very wonderful and supportive. She's a great cheerleader when you need the extra push. Came to JAG to work with Ricky and his team due to two herniated discs in my neck- I was in bad shape. Ricky effectively evaluated me and set me up with a program that has helped me return to life pre-accident. It took a while for the trainers to warm up to me.... I felt like a folder for the first couple of visits. But now I really enjoy going and working with all of the trainers. They help me move through my program efficiently and I am never sitting and waiting. Everyone is warm and friendly and caring. The person instructing me had no certification or formal training. They had a woman running on tred mill w no mask when I complained they told me they've been telling her for WEEKS ..so though she won't comply they continue to put their clients at risk many who have medical conditions and are older putting them at risk for severe covid infection They used Poorly trained non certified people to handle patients no one tells you what their positions are the person treating me had no license or training in physical therapy Although friendly these people are not professional and are the taco bell of physical therapy. Went to the office in Fairfield. First appointment I was seen by a certified therapist. After that, when I went in for treatment, my chart was handed to the person who was wiping down the equipment. He had no idea what the exercises were. He had to keep going to the therapist and ask what it meant. It was a waste of time. I got more information on YouTube than from them. I felt it was a total waste of time and money. I can do the exercises from home. read more

The therapists and assistants were generally helpful and hard working, though it seems like this was their first job and they're all pretty young, so I have to wonder if they're paid on the low end of the scale. Compared to another 'chain' I've used (Recovery in NYC) Jag felt more like I was on an assembly line, quickly pushed through one step of the process to another, and the facility is bigger and more crowded. That said, I focused on results and I achieved them with their help. The admin is typical of medical offices, which is to say bordering on unethical. I could never find out how much I was going to pay out of pocket until literally a year later when suddenly a bill arrived with hundreds of dollars of accumulated co-pays, prompting me to write this review. read more

Yes, it is a bit of factory. But I have found that the wait times are minimal, if any. There is always someone available to assist me if I am not sure that i am doing an exercise correctly, and most often a therapist or assistant is monitoring me without any prodding. The therapists are generally skilled and attentive. I am 6 weeks out from a tough rotator cuff repair and I am doing very well. Couldnt have done it without them read more

Jag truly treated me right and got me back on my feet and in the game. They helped me build myself up to to avoid an otherwise inevitable surgery. Horrible billing issue. I have excellent insurance and never had an issue with any medical bills, or former PT's, until I went to JAG-ONE PT. In 2021 I had occupational therapy with JAG-ONE, after being hospitalized. After approximately 20 visits, JAG-ONE initially informed me that I had maxed out my visits. When I called the insurance they informed me that I was entitled to 60 visits per calendar year. Afterwards, JAG -ONE told me that I did not require pre-authorization from the insurance company, which was false, so the insurance company billed me in full. Finally JAG-ONE tried to blame the insurance company for the lack of payment when it was JAG-ONE all along that did not follow through with their occupational therapy notes to the insurance company. They basically held me accountable and simply kept billing me. After more than a dozen phone calls between JAG-ONE and my insurance company the matter is still pending. A year later I am still receiving invoices from JAG-ONE, even though I had paid my co-pay in full. Please be extremely careful with this company--you might just end up receiving bills more than a year later, due to the negligence of their billing department. read more

First of all, let me start by saying that the treatment team (from receptionist to PT) are delightful and professional. The facility is also very clean and the equipment up to date. The reason for my less than stellar review is that the model of care seems more corporate and focused on increasing money-making, billable patient contacts than on the highest quality of care. In my experience, one can expect only about 10 min with a licensed PT per 90 min session. There are many paraprofessional assistants on the floor (many quite good), but they are not PTs, and as a result lack the repertoire of skills and techniques. There's also a lot of waiting around, which is fine if you have nowhere to be, but as a busy healthcare provider myself, the last straw for me was being made late for one of my own patients by this sometimes sluggish $ focused model. People should know that it is not necessary to submit to this model of care if it does not suit them. There are many PTs who work in a manner that maximizes PT contact. My current PT spends the entire session with me, employing a range of treatment techniques in addition to keen ongoing assessment. My advice is to shop around if JAG's model does not appeal to you. read more

Went here after having knee replacement surgery. Super friendly staff- very well organized. They have up to date equipment and plenty of benches. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and some actually take classes at HSS for knee replacement rehab. Craig and Deven were my two therapists and they were beyond fantastic. Craig Soriano is my physical therapist. I went to JAG West Orang since they are on Hospital for Special Surgeries recommended list. HSS comes in and reviews their records, processes and procedures, gave me a lot of confidence from the beginning. I had a knee cap replacement which was much more painful and difficult than I thought it would be. I went to JAG 5 days after my surgery and after a great consultation with Craig we got to work. 6 weeks later Craig has helped me strengthen my leg substantially, helped me heal and given me the confidence that this will fully heal. Most importantly we have an honest and open communication which helps me advance when I can and pull back when it's too much to handle.
