Staying close by & was looking for something fresh and healthy. I know this is a chain, but had never been so we gave it a try. Chipotle concept- but amazing Mediterranean food. We chose to build a bowl with greens & rice - topped with the lamb & about 7 choices of fresh toppings. This was served with your choice of sauces & warm pita. Flavors were amazing- all ingredients were fresh. They have mutilple choices of in house made ice teas & leomades. Good food & drink for a fair price. Wish there was one near Pittsburgh! Look forward to going again sometime soon.

So I stopped by Cava in Secaucus for a quick bite before heading to the movies on a weekday. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out fast--perfect for a casual meal, especially since we had to go to the movies right after that's walking distance.... The staff was friendly, and there was plenty of seating, but for some odd reason 80% of the staff was helping with online orders wipe the in person line started adding up.... Bonus: tons of parking, which is always a win. Will definitely be back and give it another shot.

This is a more "newer" location and love cava overall and this place did a good job within the food, service and ambience. The food was fresh, nothing looked like it was sitting out for too long, the workers were kind, professional, and the restaurant was clean and well kept up. A good establishment overall, good place for a quick bite.

I loved that this cava opened up and is closer to me than the JC one but man, have I've been disappointed with their service... One thing I never had to wait for at the JC and Paramus locations were the pita chips. Waiting a few times is fine but after cooking here several times, the pita chips are never ready, the last couple times I've visited I've been sure to ask for them first so they can tell their team member to get to frying so we wouldn't have to wait 10 min for them to be done and I'd be done with my meal by then...I am always asked "that's it?" Other times, the managers have been standing around on a busy day/time instead of helping out their team. The other team members are clearly not happy which I haven't experienced at the other Cava locations. This goes to show the poor management and teamwork at this location. Other than that, Cava is really one of my favorite places to eat but not this location. They offer pitas, bowls and salads - either pre picked for you on the menu or choose your own fillings.

The food was great and the team was nice. The cashier can be friendly, she's is calling the manager, Yoo Yoo, she's young and was efficient. Great food!

Service was terrible I will never come back to this location. Only the gentleman working at 6:30 pm Monday night the only respectable employee at work that night. Female ringing people up lazy ! Literally said they were out of so many things only Becuase she didn't want to bend over an open the fridge. Literally after she made our bowl someone came after us and the person working opened the fridge and brought out everything that was "out" "missing" - wildest experience I've had at a cava and I didn't even go at closing. Spent $50 on bowls missing half their items because someone didn't want to bend over.

Been eyeing this location since I saw the signage! I've ordered twice so far since their opening, one was for pickup during the week and the other was for dine-in. Pickup was a bit behind as it was extremely busy but it was 1pm on a weekday so I guess everyone was on lunch. For dine-in on a Sunday, it was pretty empty which was good! Staff were nice and quick with filling our bowls and paying. Only downside can be parking as the lot can be packed, but that's the area. Also, get the strawberry citrus drink!

It's basically an extension of the deli, not an actual restaurant feel at all. Our table was so close to the soda fridge that we couldn't move the chair back if we didn't want to break the door. Anytime a customer came to get a drink, we had to move so they could open the fridge door. The service was very good. Friendly young man. The food was good but a little pricey for the amount we received. We ordered an appetizer and bread bowl of pasta with bolognese. Their fresh mozzarella is very good. The bread bowl itself was not flavorful at all. We ended up throwing that part out. The sauce was good though. The other bread bowl we got was filled with pasta done in their Parmesan wheel. It was meh. Very dry. Needed more garlic or something for some oomph! The rainbow cookies were good but didn't seem any different than other places I have had them at, just pricier. Overall, it was ok but we wouldn't go back again.

I have driven throughout Edgewater for years and have not seen Madison Café and Grill. Thanks to…read moreYelp, my curiosity was piqued and I'm so glad that I visited. The restaurant has an interesting history. Even though the original opened in Cresskill, NJ, it unfortunately has permanently closed. However, not only is the Edgewater location amazing, but it had the guts to open during COVID (2022), survived, and is succeeding. The restaurant is beautiful inside and outside. Their decorations are tasteful, the presentation of the food is award winning, and the service is stellar. I started with a Mocha Cappuccino and it was so good. Served in a large mug, an airy/creamy top, and had the perfect amount of mocha happiness throughout. Before the meal even started, we were graciously given Za'atar (a popular Middle Eastern spice blend with an earthy, tangy, and nutty flavor, toasted sesame seeds, and sumac, with salt). It was crunchy, drizzled with oil, and I enjoyed how each thin pita bite made the spices explode all over the table. The entrees were: Strawberry French Toast. The next was the Falafel Platter (chickpeas and fava bean balls, served with tahini sauce, pickles, turnips, tomato, and mint). The last selection was the Avocado Toast (Citrus cured salmon over multigrain bread, tomatoes, onions, capers & citrus vinaigrette). Not only were all of these dishes beautifully presented, but all were filling, as well. My Avocado Toast kept me full for the rest of the day and the salmon was enjoyably salty, thin, and delicious. I noticed a dessert in their display case and ordered it. The dessert was the Riz Bil Ashta (Lebanese rice cream, infused with orange blossom water, blended with milk and cheese, and topped with crushed pistachios). This dessert tasted like a regal custard and the pistachios added an enjoyable texture that makes it recommended. Of course, I had to cap the meal with a Mocchiato. This amazing beverage followed the rest of the meal..... delicious, eyes closed good, and every sip was full-flavored. Thank you, Madison Café and Grill, for presenting a memorable meal and I wish you continued success.

I half want to not write this because I don't want the place to be crowded - so my spouse and I can always get a seat easily - but this place is too great to not continuing sharing. Shout out always to Will - manages this place with the utmost service and care for its customers. Food: 1. Huevos rancheros with chorizos 2. Crispy bird chicken sandwich The eggs and verde [green] sauce was fantastic. The chorizos were not salty or oily - just perfect. My wife loved her Burger. Inside is multiple chicken tender pieces and the flavor was fantastic. We felt fulfilled - with leftovers - satisfied beyond doubt - and not bloated. End of updated review [Second time coming]: Highly recommend - and they are opening up the back for OUTDOOr Seating in 2-3 weeks! Highly recommend to come. They also had throwback alt rock playing both days, which I absolutely vibed with! The first day I had a simple but well done egg and cheese sandwich with an apple turnover! First off, the interior and attention to detail is so cute and aesthetically pleasing. Ambiance was so relaxing and just my vibe. I got the watermelon and mint juice, huevos rancheros, polenta fries, and mango pistachio Brulé French toast. Everything was 10/10! Watermelon and mint juice - so refreshing, great way to start off the morning. I just added a small lemon slice to add a bit of brightness to the drink, but great as is. Huevos rancheros - the corn tortilla was super crispy. Everything blended beautifully. We did ask for hot sauce like Tapatio or Cholula, but I guess they don't carry this and gave us more Verde salsa instead. No worries, I think it speaks volume that this place prides itself in giving guests condiments they specially made from scratch! Polenta fries - so crispy so good. Underneath the fries is some sort of sauce with horseradish. It's hard to explain. Just know that this was really good lol. Mango pistachio Brulé French toast - I am more of a savory breakfast type of person but something about this stood out to me so I decided to try it and don't regret it one bit. The mango purée and the French toast was like a perfect blend of something fresh with something super carb heavy. Aesthetically, I haven't seen anything like this, and it was just something beautiful and magically created. There's not many places where I'm just in awe of the food and also not many places where I think the price and the quality of the food matches as well. I am so glad I was able to try out this place and will always look forward to eating here again!
