Cava is one of my favorite chains. The food here was fresh and the staff was super friendly. It was a little crowded, but there was plenty of space to sit inside. Parking was easy as there was a large lot outside. Would highly recommend for a quick meal. They do order at the counter and then you can take it to go or sit down. They are good telling you what is GF but there is def a high risk of cross contamination

Staying close by & was looking for something fresh and healthy. I know this is a chain, but had never been so we gave it a try. Chipotle concept- but amazing Mediterranean food. We chose to build a bowl with greens & rice - topped with the lamb & about 7 choices of fresh toppings. This was served with your choice of sauces & warm pita. Flavors were amazing- all ingredients were fresh. They have mutilple choices of in house made ice teas & leomades. Good food & drink for a fair price. Wish there was one near Pittsburgh! Look forward to going again sometime soon.

So I stopped by Cava in Secaucus for a quick bite before heading to the movies on a weekday. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out fast--perfect for a casual meal, especially since we had to go to the movies right after that's walking distance.... The staff was friendly, and there was plenty of seating, but for some odd reason 80% of the staff was helping with online orders wipe the in person line started adding up.... Bonus: tons of parking, which is always a win. Will definitely be back and give it another shot.

This is a more "newer" location and love cava overall and this place did a good job within the food, service and ambience. The food was fresh, nothing looked like it was sitting out for too long, the workers were kind, professional, and the restaurant was clean and well kept up. A good establishment overall, good place for a quick bite.

I loved that this cava opened up and is closer to me than the JC one but man, have I've been disappointed with their service... One thing I never had to wait for at the JC and Paramus locations were the pita chips. Waiting a few times is fine but after cooking here several times, the pita chips are never ready, the last couple times I've visited I've been sure to ask for them first so they can tell their team member to get to frying so we wouldn't have to wait 10 min for them to be done and I'd be done with my meal by then...I am always asked "that's it?" Other times, the managers have been standing around on a busy day/time instead of helping out their team. The other team members are clearly not happy which I haven't experienced at the other Cava locations. This goes to show the poor management and teamwork at this location. Other than that, Cava is really one of my favorite places to eat but not this location. They offer pitas, bowls and salads - either pre picked for you on the menu or choose your own fillings.

Service was terrible I will never come back to this location. Only the gentleman working at 6:30 pm Monday night the only respectable employee at work that night. Female ringing people up lazy ! Literally said they were out of so many things only Becuase she didn't want to bend over an open the fridge. Literally after she made our bowl someone came after us and the person working opened the fridge and brought out everything that was "out" "missing" - wildest experience I've had at a cava and I didn't even go at closing. Spent $50 on bowls missing half their items because someone didn't want to bend over.

The food was great and the team was nice. The cashier can be friendly, she's is calling the manager, Yoo Yoo, she's young and was efficient. Great food!

We ordered pretty much the same thing as the first time with the addition of the Cheese Borek to try out. It had a great balance of salty cheese flavor to the crispy phyllo dough. It went well with the Fattoush Salad (that came with the Mixed Platter). We were 3 people this time and the Mixed Platter for 2 was plenty of food along with all the appetizers we got. The Iced Mint Lemonade could have a bit more mint and less sugar but I found it sweet and refreshing. Their Hummus and Babaghanoush here are both excellent and pairs well with the warm pita they give you. Please do yourself a favor and check out El Jardin! Delicious food, amazing portions, and family-owned Palestinian restaurant.

Really wish I took photos - therefore just like the great convos with the wonderful, extremely personable and educational counter gentlemen - will be coming back real soon with photos Review: Hudson Kebab House isn't just good--it's memorable. I had the gyro wrap, my wife had the chickpea salad with falafel, and both dishes were so on point they brought me right back to my time in Istanbul. Flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. The wrap was balanced, not greasy, and the falafel had that perfect crisp-to-fluff ratio. But what really stood out? The person behind the counter. Not sure if he's the owner or just part of a family-run operation, but his energy was magnetic. He checked in with us--and with everyone who came through the door--like we were all regulars. Friendly without being overbearing, helpful without the upsell. He made the food taste even better, if that's possible. This spot has soul. It's the kind of place you return to not just because the food is excellent (it is), but because it feels good to be there. I'll be back very soon to try the kebabs, and when I do, expect a full deep dive--possibly with pictures, definitely with passion. 15/10 - must try. Strong BUY, erm, sry, not investing.. I had heard great things about Seven Valleys and wanted to give it a try…read more I stopped in for a late lunch and ordered with chicken kebab plate with an extra beef skewer plus a cherry soda. The cherry soda was presented beautifully and had a tasty flavor, but there was way too much syrup. It was very sweet. The plate comes simply with rice, a small dish of cucumber tomato salad, your protein and a lime wedge. You also get hummus or a piece of baklava. I chose the hummus that came in a very small ramekin. When I order a mix grill or Persian food, the plate usually looks a little more exciting and robust. This seemed paired down. I could have used a charred onion or a pickled vegetable. The cucumber tomato salad was good, the chicken was moist and the beef was tender. The rice was a little disappointing. The hummus tasted a bland, like it needed more tahini, garlic, salt and lemon. I know I was one of the last people in for lunch, maybe my timing was a bit off. Since it was a weekday in March, it was quite dark and chilly; while the staff did their absolute best to keep us comfortable, the outdoor heaters couldn't quite beat the early spring cold. There were a few hiccups with our orders being mixed up, but honestly, I think that was mostly due to our group's size being a bit overwhelming for the space. I have a feeling the service would be much smoother for a smaller party, but the food more than made up for the wait. I had the chicken breast kebab with a side salad, and it was fantastic--the flavors felt truly authentic to Persian cuisine. I'd definitely come back, perhaps with a smaller group next time to stay inside where it's a bit warmer!

Unfortunately, everything else fell short. The service was disorganized from the start. We waited quite a while before anyone took our order, and throughout the evening multiple servers kept stopping at our table, making it unclear who was actually responsible for us. There were several mix-ups with our order, and we repeatedly had to remind staff about items we had already requested. The East Coast oysters were fresh and enjoyable, and my lychee martini was very good. The grilled octopus, however, was one of the worst I've ever had. It was extremely overcooked, heavily charred, and so salty that it overwhelmed everything else. It was also served over what appeared to be a squid ink puree, which completely overpowered the dish. It just didn't work. We shared the whole red snapper, which was decent, although nothing particularly memorable. The Brussels sprouts were good, but the lemon potatoes didn't arrive until we had already finished the fish. When they finally came out, they were undercooked, drenched in lemon juice, and tasted like they had been reheated rather than freshly prepared. Dessert was fine, but even then the service issues continued. We ordered four desserts and only three arrived. By the time we had paid, we weren't interested in waiting any longer to ask about the missing item. My friend also ordered his ribeye rare, and it came out medium. Overall, the evening felt inconsistent from beginning to end. Between the constant order mistakes, slow and unorganized service, and several disappointing dishes, this isn't a restaurant I'll be returning to. With views this spectacular, I expected the food and service to match, but unfortunately they didn't.

We started with the Eggplant in Sauce (Shakshuka), which was full of tomato and garlic umami, and just a small bit of capsaicin to get the senses tingling. The Fresh Green Beans, a last-minute add-on, were the perfect healthy and refreshing veggie dish to satisfy on a boiling hot evening. From there, we gorged on perfectly cooked Iskender Kebab, but it was my Ali Nazik (roasted smoked eggplant puree with yoghurt and tender lamb meat, served with fresh bread) that stole the show. If you want meat and potatoes but with an exotic twist--well, this beats steak and mashed potatoes anyday. My only gripe was that they were out of both the Manti and the Aubergine Kebab--my first two picks--when we were there. But I decided to forgive them after my first bite of Ali Nazik. The decor inside feels homey, nostalgic, and thoughtful. They weren't busy at all on a Sunday around 1:30pm so we were seated right away. We started with 1pc Lahmacun which is often called Turkish pizza. It's minced beef, tomatoes, onions, and spices on fresh flatbread. Their flatbread and even the complimentary bread we received before this was to die for! Some of the best bread I've ever had at a Middle Eastern restaurant. It was warm, fresh, and airy. The Lahmacun had delicious flavor and paired well with the vegetables it's served with. 1pc is plenty to share among 2 people. It was now time for the Mixed Grill which was presented beautifully! All the meat was outstanding, tender, juicy, smoky, you name it. I honestly didn't have a favorite because they were all delicious. I love that it's served with both rice and salad with the salad being on both sides of the plate making it even easier to share. This was easily sharable among 2 people and could even stretch out to 3 people if you order other appetizers. We ended with the Finn Sütlac which is a Turkish-style baked rice pudding. It was creamy and lightly sweet but the rice grains were still whole and slightly undercooked which I didn't particularly enjoy. I'm used to them being softer and even smaller in size. Beyti Kebab is easily a 4.5/5; some of the best Turkish food I've had across NY/NJ. Highly recommend!
