When I placed my order online, I chose the time 12:15pm.This wasn't even the earliest available time, meaning I gave them enough time to prepare my order. I arrived to pick up my order at 12:25, but the order wasn't ready and I had to wait another 15 min. The order was prepared with a significant delay. They didn't include the pickled onions I ordered, and the chicken was overcooked/dry. Because I asked the employee why the order wasn't ready yet, she carelessly and with a displeased look almost threw it at me after it was finally prepared. read more

I've been meaning to try this spot for awhile. I always see people eat here on social media, lol. I was supposed to try this dish that one of sm influencer recommended. However, I decided to try my luck with my own choices. When I arrived early midday, it wasn't too crowded. The staff were friendly and worked fast. I decided to make my own bowl and started with the black lentils, spinach, chicken, cucumbers, corn, spicy sauce and some other veggies and sauce. I was excited and a bit apprehensive with my bowl. When I got home and I was pleasantly surprised and happy with my order. I ate everything in my bowl. It was delicious with the combination of items and sauce I ordered. I'm ready to return and try a different bowl combination. read more

PROs - different type of salad . Good concept CONs- slow service , soggy felafel. Good location and nicely placed . I was in a mood to eat salad and thought of Cava . I used to eat in cava more before .. haven't had for the last 2 years . I should say that the quality has decreased from what it was before . Service was also a bit slow and the pricing is a little high as compared with other salad shops. I paid about 18$ for a veggie salad and pita chips . Wish they give pita chips with the meal . It's about 3$ .. not bad though. I loved their pita chips . Salad was ok . Quantity was less zzz felafels were a bit soggy . My friend had chicken salad and it was really good . Hope they can make fresh felafels and serve it hot. Billing was quick . Overall I liked it but could be better .. 3 stars .. read more

The food here is delicious!! You may want to order online and pick up in store because if you go during prime lunch time hours, you will be waiting on a very long line!! I always create my own grain + rice bowl and typically comes out to around $12 - $13 bucks, which is not bad at all for Manhattan prices. read more

Amazing service !!! super fast, foood always hot. A lot of attention to detail and food portions.

A clump of black long curly hair in my food! I took a bite and I had to pull it out of my mouth! Disgusting!!!! I am never ordering again! Ruined my dinner! Plus I was never refunded! read more

Terrible service. There were at least 3 workers in the front. None of them helped us even though they were just standing around and barely restocking. There was no line. They were lacking so much that one of their loud timers was going off for a minute before one of them turned it off. read more

Service sucks. The woman with the nose ring that prepares the bowls is super rude. They sell soda but the machine has no ice and all the flavors are water. Visited 11/20 PM. Was a regular. read more

This is my second experience at Cava, specially at this location. The food always looks fresh but they are extremely careless and always out of specific items (from my first experience - there was no more falafel and I ended up with a bowl of whatever veggies were still available at the time). This time, I ordered their Steak + Harissa bowl via the app and received a bowl without any steak....that cost $24. The veggies taste great but it's not what I ordered or paid for. I would never give them a third opportunity, not worth it. read more

I have a love affair with the Greek Salad from Cava. It is so delicious. I can't explain why it is more delicious than other Greek Salads, but trust me, it is the most delicious Greek Salad you will ever have. First time at CAVA and it definitely won't be my last! The woman helping me was super friendly and walked me through everything since I wasn't sure what to do. The spicy feta was absolutely incredible--I seriously dreamed about it for days, haha! The food overall was fantastic, and the atmosphere was really calming. The only downside was that the chairs weren't the most comfortable, but honestly, the delicious food made up for it. Highly recommend checking it out! read more

The flavors are so good but this location packed my bowl less full than the location down by FiDi/ Soho when I ordered ahead. It's a lot of greek flavors- think chipotle but make it greek and healthy. I usually can't finish it all in one go so it is more than filling for the price you pay. Here is my go to order for some inspo: Grains Bowl $12.22 Included Pita V2, Lemon Herb Tahini, Yogurt Dill, Crumbled Feta, Pickled Onion (2), Tomato + Cucumber, Tomato + Onion, Pita Crisps, Shredded Romaine (2), Fire Roasted Corn (2), Lentil Tabbouleh (2), Persian Cucumber (2), Half Chicken, Half Falafel, Red Pep Hummus, Crazy Feta, Tzatziki, Half Black Lentils, Half Saffron White Rice read more

Ambiance was so hot, don't think the ac was working, waited 30min for them to take my order, and there was only 1 other person on line smh. I wish I remembered her name but the short girl, black hair TERRIBLE ATTITUDE she legit slapped my toppings into the bowl and then the squirted the sauce into my bowl so mad and aggressively it literally splattered on her too. She was giving me mean looks like girl what is your problem. Then I asked for a water cup and yes I got lemonade but honestly, I was just a little confused on where the water thingy was and she literally cursed me out over a $3.76 drink which I told her I would pay for !!!!!! I could've dumped my bowl on her head but I chose peace so I hope she see this review and I hope cava train their staff better. read more

Stopped by CAVA around 5 pm after the gym when I was hungry and craving Chipotle, but since there wasn't one nearby, I decided to give CAVA a try. The setup is really similar to Chipotle, but I was blown away by the variety of flavors--it was absolutely delicious and only $13! The only downside was the overflowing garbage and a few dirty tables. I'll definitely be coming back, though! read more

First time going to this place today and it was a very sweet experience while I was waiting on the line I asked one of kitchen prep guys about the food and that I was a picky eater and he also gave great suggestions shout out to him (wish I had gotten his name to put him in my review) , once I got to the middle of ordering the servers were also sweet and patient (you guys practically hired angels to work for cava) the beverages were really good as well and although this may have been my first bowl, I can't wait to try more. It was just really cool to try a different cuisine for once and I'll definitely be returning. I also forgot the name of the manager. She was so kind and had the most wonderful smile. solid meal! FIlling, healthy, delicious, reasonably priced. Can't go wrong at Cava.

Poorly managed. Ordered ahead online. But was not ready in time. Also ordered additional sides. They forgot to add free pita which I thought is their staple thing to have but that was the point of ordering the extra sides. Also almost gave us the wrong size side. Someone should be checking the bag. Gave my first try a bad experience. read more

I was craving a falafel salad specifically today and I honestly didn't think that any restaurant would be able to really meat the craving. I randomly googled the closest falafel spot nearby and Cava came up and so I decided to go in since I didn't want to travel far. It was easy to order the directions are displayed in the screen- I got the mixed greens and lentil mix and then added spreads such as hummus and eggplant mash, added toppings of my choice and of course got the falafel as my protein. I was helped right away and it was a quick order, only thing was I had to make sure I was choosing the ingredients I really wanted today and I did a good job with my choices. Finally got the tahini sauce on top. It was around $14 bucks which wasn't bad at all. It bit the spot and I am satisfied! 5 in my books for service and taste. The atmosphere is fast food in and out spot and there's been people quickly eating and leaving. read more

Such a great experience! So fast, so easy, so good. Brianna helped me, love Cava always!

I generally love Cava. But this is probably the worst run cava in the world. Tonight there was a 20 minute wait for rice. The food usually looks presentable and nice at other locations also, but never here. They're also always out of something! read more

This is the best Cava in NYC. The staff is awesome and the portion sizes are great. I will be going back!

Coming back to the office earlier this year, I needed to discover some go-to lunch spots in the area. For one, it's a bit tougher than most locations with some of the more familiar names shutting down permanently due to COVID. CAVA was one of my early go-tos. Mediterrenean food is one of my favorite cuisines because it's very tasty and not super heavy. For me, the falafel bowls do the trick here. I always get myself the mix of the greens + grains. Spinach + black lentils are the best. Brown rice is not a bad option, but I've stuck to the former. From here, the other toppings are to the tastes of the beholder. For me, it's more about trying to avoid duplicating items. For example, the crazy feta is good, but I know I can get regular feta, so I'll go with the red pepper hummus instead. Before you leave, make sure you get some pita chips & pita bread too. This is a spot I highly recommend. read more

When there was a lone CAVA location in NY, I'd trek down to Union Square just to get my paws on one of their delightful, fresh, zesty, filling, Mediterranean bowls, thankful this D.C. based chain landed in my city. It was a star among the many fast casual bowl shops in the city catering to the office crowds, where you could get a filling and healthy meal for just about $10, a steal compared to the sometimes $15-$20 bowls that are typical in the city. Now that CAVAs are a dime a dozen in New York, some of the allure has worn off. But everytime I sink my teeth into one of their salads I feel better for it. The falafel somehow stays crispy, the vegetables are always fresh, and the sauces are very flavorful. I especially enjoy the harissa, which has a genuine kick to it, their sriracha Greek yogurt dressing, and I like to top my salad with a few noodle chips. A little indulgence on my otherwise healthy bowl. Though I haven't gone back to the office, I find myself craving my sad desk lunch that is the not so sad Mediterranean bowl from CAVA. 'Better than your sad desk salad' is a decent tagline, wouldn't you say? read more

Out of all of the "make your own bowl" places in Flat Iron (and there are a lot) this is one of the best. I've always been a huge CAVA fan but have never been brave enough to put up with the line that forms at this location come noon. I am sure it moves quickly, but it is seriously out the door. But I got here the other day at 11:30, and found a totally reasonable line that didn't exist the building, so I was game. It's pretty simple, pick how you want your food: In a bowl or on a pita, and then you just go down the line from there. I got a half arugula, half brown rice bowl with a mix of chicken and roasted veggies. The roasted veggies are such a great addition. It's a mix of Brussels Sprouts, squash, carrots and cauliflower. The lamb meatballs look amazing, but I haven't tried them yet. Next, you pick out a few dips. Tzatziki and eggplants are my go tos. Moving down the line, you pick a few toppings like feta, cucumbers, couscous, etc. and last but not least, dressing (always Greek vinaigrette). And there you have it, the perfect bowl! read more

Delicious! Food is always fresh! Orders are quick! Favorite items or there is a Greek salad bowl. Great customer service.

Terrible service and the food is below average. The service was abysmal. They just threw the food in the bowl. Along with that Stephanie was particularly nasty. When I asked for a receipt she was very irritated. Extremely rude staff and poor food quality. read more

First and foremost, CAVA is one of my favourite upper-level "fast-food" dining experiences. Ever since trying it out in DC for the first time, I haven't visited a Chipotle ever since. You just get so much more for your buck at a higher quality. This particular location is one of my go-to's whenever I'm in the city. The staff was extremely hospitable and patient, and the bathroom was really clean as well. I felt really taken care of on my visit here, and my bowl, as always, was fresh and combined with love. The only thing I'd note is that the staff wasn't always wearing masks while preparing the food -- however, NYC is relaxing mask-wearing regulations. I'm including this just in case people were wondering. Happy eating! read more

This place is great! I came here for the first time while on my way to class and I needed something filling but also healthy to eat. They have a variety options to choose from and everything came out so delicious. I chose the rice with lentils, chicken, tzatziki, veggies, cabbage and diced cucumbers. I was nervous about how all of it was going to taste together but it was good I was surprised! I'm definitely going to add more options next time. Also the employees who work here were really helpful since it was my first time. I also just want to mention how the CAVA app is so convenient when trying to figure how many calories I am eating. It's extremely helpful and I like that I can pay with the cava app as well. I definitely recommend coming here if you're in the mood for something delicious and healthy. I've always loved Mediterranean food. The only thing I will say is that it's a bit pricey and I would hope to have gotten more food especially I wished they gave me more chicken and I felt the ratio of veggies to chicken was small. read more
