Cava is one of my favorite places to eat at, especially after church on Sundays . However, today was very unpleasant the female manager they have working was really rude. Food was really good and fresh. I got the spicy chicken pita and husband did a custom bowl with lamb and rice. Chicken was so flavorful. I would recommend this place! Only complaint was the cost, I know everything is going up unfortunately, so not sure if we can afford to come back but I love this type of food. read more

Friday night I decided on dinner from Cava. It was my first time trying Cava and I decided to explore all of their vegan options. I ordered in the restaurant and took my food to go. I had a build your own bowl with romaine lettuce, brown rice, falafel, cucumber tomato salad, with a tahini caesar dressing. This was my first time trying falafel and it was not too bad. Everything in my the bowl was very fresh and I was in and out of the restaurant within 10 minutes. I went during a time that seemed to be very busy for them, but the workers were very friendly and willing to help me choose between the many options. There were no COVID 19 precautions still in place at this location, but the seating was not too close to one another. I will definitely visit Cava again. read more

Very friendly service. Standing in line seems to take a while because the place is loud and busy at lunch. The selections can be confusing, and you may feel rushed with people waiting behind you as you try to figure out which combinations would be best. But still probably faster than sitting at a table waiting to be served. Food is very good, but some locals may find the selections a bit unusual (think "Greek Poke Bowl"...e.g. rice on top of lettuce with roasted lamb in gravy sauce and a scoop of feta cheese dip?) Very good tea (cucumber mint) and all of the food ingredients were fresh and delicious. Very good lunch for $14 with large drink. read more

This is not the hype everyone says it is at all. Is it healthy? Yes. That's why I came to the restaurant. But it is not all that. The chicken was dry and cold. The girl (Zari) that was serving me was very rude. She had a stank face on upon arrival. There were two families in front of me so I waited. When I got up to order she didn't say hi or anything. I had to say hello to her first, which is an issue. The place was not welcoming at all and neither were the workers. The restaurant looks bland on the inside for a Mediterranean restaurant. I told the server that it was my first time eating there and that I would need to sample some things. Everything I sampled she complained. She huffed and puffed about getting the sample cups and spoons. She was so frustrated she didn't give me a sampling spoon. The entire time she just had a bad attitude. No smile or anything. I can understand people get tired or have a busy day but I didn't do anything to the girl. And then after her being rude and nasty I have to pay a total of 34.00 for two bowls and two drinks. I'm not trying to complain but the entire experience was just terrible. I'm not one to leave a nasty review but I couldn't even enjoy my food because of the girls nasty attitude. So combined with the experience plus food quality I would give this place two stars. That's a genuine review. The only good thing that came out of this was that the blueberry lavender drink is actually good. Which it is quite sad that a lemonade was the best thing about all of this. read more

I reside in Birmingham and have dined at Cava on several occasions, loving the menu items and the freshness. When I discovered a Cava in Montgomery, Alabama yesterday I chose to have lunch there. To my misfortune the food from this location made me ill from yesterday through today with abdominal cramps and continued diarrhea. I had the grilled chicken and lamb balls, Arugula, saffron rice, with dressings and 3 hummus dips. I just spoke with the manager (she called herself Alexis) to alert her that something is wrong with the food and I was dismissed is a way that was unsympathetic, stating their food is temperature controlled. She said the salad greens arrive pre-cleaned so they don't wash it. So my illness through the evening yesterday and today is not related. Well the only thing coming out of colon and stomach is Cava into the toilet!!!! Eat at your own risk at this location people!!! Beware unless you're in need of a sick day from Church or Work. read more
