The staff here are exceptionally nice. However, the bowl was too heavy. I've had Cava before and my falafel bowl felt more like a mashed potatoes and gravy bowl. There was too much dressing and the fresh veggies were lost in the sauce. read more

Super rude employees. Showed up for pickup and took a few minutes to get anyone's attention. Then they filled like two orders at the to go station and two more at the counter before I got my food. My husband and I had our dinner. It sour first one coming to this location . We both ordered bowl. He ordered grains only and I ordered grains and greens. You can choose type of grains you want and I choose the yellow rice saffron along with Romaine greens. You can choose type of meat and I choose their chicken honey grill. I think this is our favorite. Ingredients are ample and fresh. Employees are very nice and patient. We didn't get a chance to take picture, I forgot . We'll definitely come back here again! New worker didn't feel like completing my pita order, walked off and another Cava member had to pick up where she left off. Gave me unnecessary attitude when I asked for 3 sauces on my food. Food was okay nothing tasted bad but on my way out the clerks in the kitchen proceeded to yell at me and my party "bye, dont come back again." and continue to taunt us as we were leaving. Super unprofessional and didn't feel welcome at this location at all. For us on a low sodium diet CAVA offers one of the few choices for eating out and utterly enjoying our meal. The on-line nutrition calculator makes it easy, and with a few careful choices, there are so many healthful choices! But best of all it was loaded with flavor in every bite, with the dips, toppings, and dressing combinations.Trust me that is not easy to find and still meet your sodium numbers for the day. We both had green and grain combo bowls with the tender and tasty braised lamb. A big variety of toppings - but best for me was the zing of the pickled onion and the garlicky tzatziki. Picked up dinner from Cava last night and as always the food was delicious. I absolutely love eating here because it so good and nutritious. I gave them 4 stars because they are very inconsistent with the protein serving size. It all depends on who is serving you. I've gone and they have given me a fair portion and other time I can barely see the chicken. They are quick to tell you about an up charge. We love Cava! We come here often for our Mediterranean fix and they always deliver. Whether it's a greens and grains bowl, or just a greens bowl (a salad) we never leave disappointed. Basically it's a counter service place where you pick what you want in your bowl. Of food. You pick greens or grains, or a combo of both if you desire, and proceed to meat, and toppings such as lamb meatballs, chicken, beef, hummus, tzatziki, harissa, pickled onions, quinoa and tabouleh salad, etc. At the end you get to pick a final "dressing" such as sriracha Greek yogurt or green harissa. You also get a pita if you would like, as a side with your meal. Just like any place, you can eat very healthy here, or your bowl can get out of control calorie-wise, but their website lets you build your bowl and see the nutritional information, so I definitely recommend doing that before hand. All in all, the service is friendly and the food is great. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 us because it's a tad pricey in my opinion. It's 20 bucks + for 2 people. I walked in not knowing what to expect, the girl that initially began my order was rude and seemed unhappy ( didn't smile, unwelcoming that's why I gave 4 stars). I was the only customer in line! I selected greens and grains. After she filled my dish with the greens a boy took over and completed my order. He explained everything and made some suggestions since it was my first visit. So first, this place has super healthy options and since I believe is duality, I like to balance myself between healthy and just plain ole ignorant. I tried the green and grains bowl with the chicken and spicy lamb meatballs. I wasn't a huge fan of the meatballs because they didn't seem cooked all way through. I absolutely loved the kid meal option even though my two year old has a completely unsophisticated palate (the audacity..). When I arrived home and took a few bites, the super greens immediately gave me power and I felt obligated to go back out fishing for glowing skin compliments. I came in on Saturday afternoon and to my surprise there was no line..win! I was starving so wanted get something really filling. I tried the hot harissa honey chicken bowl which was really good. The chicken has a sweet and savory taste to it and the pickled onions really set it off. I added the yogurt dill dressing (my fave) to the top instead of the spicy harissa dressing. It was so good! This is a great Mediterranean idea that is taking it to lead from all of the fast food Mexican restaurants like Moe's or chipotle. You pick what you want from the menu and then walk down the bar of options and you choose what you want on top. It certainly seems like it might be healthy, though I'm guessing with all the sauces it might be more calories than I think. It taste good when you're eating it, though I do seem to have a slight stomach ache after every time eating here. I'm not sure if it's all the different sauces next together or what. My husband and I are beyond excited about having a CAVA in Midlothian! CAVA is the chipotle of Greek food - fresh ingredients, amazing flavors, and friendly service. We stopped by yesterday for their community day - what an awesome concept. The employees get practice, new customers get to try the food for free, and they collect donations for a local non-profit (Tricycle Gardens). I love that each meal is totally customizable - the possibilities are endless! I throughly enjoyed my grains & greens bowl with a side pita. It was huge! I couldn't finish so really two meals for less than $10. It all tastes so fresh and is relatively healthy if you don't go too crazy with the sauces. They have a ton of drink options as well, I tried the strawberry mint lemonade and loved it! Overall this spot is going to be our new go to quick and easy meal.
