It's wonderful to have new lunch options in the Harrisburg area. Beltway Towne Center is the new hot spot on Carlisle Pike for some wonderful new dining options. Only my third time ordering here; this time we chose to dine in Still friendly, fast service, and my chicken & rice salad bowl was delish, as were the pita chips and homemade blueberry lemonade (at least it tasted homemade). Second time here and unfortunately it wasn't quite as good as our first visit. Our pita chips and dip were forgotten, and although I placed a drive-thru pickup order at 10:30 PM with an estimated ready time of 10:44 PM, I ended up pulling up to the drive-thru at 11:01 PM before ever receiving the notification to proceed to the window. The employee mentioned they forgot to send the text saying the order was ready. That said, the food was still very good overall, and it was my girlfriend's first time trying it -- she really enjoyed it. This location since opening has been through its ups and downs. I think for a location in start up I give them a lot of credit. I think employees differ in bowl size/topping portions drastically which is frustrating. I think the attitude of employees has differed a lot and can make or break the experience. Food is so good and keeps me coming back though. read more

My wife and I tried King George Speakeasy in York last night. We wanted to get there before dinner, but unfortunately we got there after dinner and the live entertainment was over. This is a really cool place with a really neat vibe. The staff is super friendly and they went over all of the drink options and how everything works. They have happy hour from 9:00 PM until 11:00 PM so my wife and I both tried espresso martinis and they were absolutely delicious! We definitely want to go back to enjoy the live entertainment and maybe even the karaoke. They have karaoke every second and fourth Thursday of the month. We also like to try some of their food because although small and limited, it looked really good. This place is in the basement of Tutoni's Restaurant so we would be a great place to go before or after having dinner. Highly recommend this place, we can't wait to go back. read more

The food does not taste as fresh as other locations. There is always a long line. It seems as though there wouldn't even be a long line if the service wasn't so slow. The worst cava location. Old avocado. Skipping ingredients. Hasn't been open long and already being run into the ground. Was told only avocado they had was old and brown but they were still serving it. Started good but now you can see they care less about freshness. This isn't McDonald's. Freshness is what the difference should be. I recently placed a large group order from CAVA on Carlisle Pike for a team picnic, and I wanted to share our experience. While they were clearly understaffed and didn't receive our order early enough to have it ready right on time, the situation was handled with a lot of care and professionalism. James took our order and made all of them himself. He did an excellent job, stayed attentive, and made sure everything was prepared correctly despite the pressure. The food was great and everyone on our team enjoyed their meals. It's also worth noting that this seemed outside their usual scope (large group orders like ours), so I wouldn't expect this as a standard service, but given the circumstances, his effort and attitude really stood out. We really appreciated how helpful and dedicated he was throughout the process. read more

We went on the preview day and they were busy but doing great. We had never been before so they explained how everything worked. It was all delicious and fresh. You could see and smell them cooking in the kitchen, too. They offered us pita chips for our kids and a high chair as well. We sat on the patio and enjoyed our visit. read more

This CAVA location is in severe need of better management and/or training. Employees lack any sense of urgency and would rather talk to each other over the customers they are serving. Seating is at a minimum, so don't plan on bringing a large party (6+ persons) here. All available tables were disgustingly dirty. Seems like the employees who were standing around needed to accompany this mess. Giving it two stars because the food was fresh (with the exception of being out of cucumbers) and the cashier was very nice. I have been eating Cava for a couple of years in Philadelphia when I visit my daughter's, so I was very excited that it was opening here in our town, but since it has opened, I don't think the management is paying much attention to the operations of this location. The online ordering has been shut down often and when you come to get it in person, the lines are so long. today I got here to get my bowl but they were out of falafel and many other items at 5:40 PM the prime dinner time they should have been prepared. There's only four people working on the line. The online ordering is shut down so I don't think Cava is taking this location seriously I will avoid coming here until I hear that the management has done something to staff it properly. read more

My wife put in a scheduled pick up for 6:30p at 11am. I got to the pick up line at 6:27p, did not get my food until 6:53p. Great food that we've been excited about coming to this area. Been very busy since opening but decided to stop by on a weekday after lunch and the line was short. Staff was friendly and they were well versed on the menu despite just recently opening. Food was amazing as were serving sizes.
