A great place for a fresh and healthier take on fast food. Lots of salads and rice bowl options as well as wraps and delicious drinks! The service is a quick assembly line style and the atmosphere is fun cafeteria style. A great place to grab lunch! read more

Great service! the food is always fresh. Lines are long sometimes but goes by very quick.

GIVE YAMAM A RAISE!!!!!She made my bowl perfectly and never fails to amaze my tastebuds 10/10

We love CAVA. You can customize your bowl exactly to your taste and preferences. The online ordering is very user friendly and easy to use. And when you create multiple bowls, it's fun to make names for your bowls so that it's easier to tell who ordered which bowl. My only suggestion is that I wish there was a little explanation about a few of the choices such as their "right rice". I couldn't find on their website what that was exactly. Two of our favorite proteins are the meatballs and the lamb. The saffron rice is also very good. Since the pandemic, we have only ordered online. And the La Jolla location opened after the pandemic started. I appreciate how easy it is to order online, be able to schedule a pick up time, and pick up the food when it is ready. Everything is contactless and convenient. Tasty, healthy food, easy customizable ordering, and convenient pickup are what makes CAVA one of our favorite take outs. read more

I always go to cava with my friends. The food is so delicious and the staff are always nice. But sadly this time I went I found a piece of plastic in my bowl read more

So deliciousss ! i love the garlic dressing good location and good taste Big portions Bella was great!! Thank you read more

Finally tried Cava here for the first time and it was great overall! Delicious bowls, but taking off one star because they seem to be missing items all the time. Like the other reviews mention, it's not uncommon to experience missing ingredients at this location unfortunately. The last time I ordered, I didn't get any of my hummus which is odd since they're a Mediterranean restaurant. Not sure if this is a staffing issue but hopefully they can resolve this soon. I can see why this might be the downfall of Cava if they continue to have missing stuff from people's bowls! read more

Over the past two years, Cava has been giving less and less food with whatever bowl you buy. I purchased a bowl today alongside some friends, and the total amount of food I received with my standard order is about half of what I used to get just a year or two ago. Whether it's the employee or the company, there's been a consistent downward trend when it comes to how much food you actually get. For example: 3 lettuce leaves when I asked for lettuce. 3 small, cut leaves. Bowl was half filled, where is used to be bulging out of the container. If you're hungry, don't go here. You'll have to pay twice as much for the same amount of food. read more

I normally love Cava, but this location was Bad. I was there on 10/26 and they said they were out of rice due to being busy so I ordered a bowl with spinach and black lentils as a base. The lentils were so raw/undercooked I couldn't chew them. Sadly, I couldn't scoop them out because they stuck to everything because of the sauce. I can't recommend them and won't be back. read more

Great service, Maria was very sweet! I always get a bowl at least once a week and this CAVA never disappoints :) read more

CAVA in San Diego?! Yes Please!! My hubby and I discovered Cava on the East Coast and were sad when we realized we didn't have one near us to enjoy. I came home to San Diego for a trip and found this location near our local Wholefoods!! Cava to me is like a Mediterranean Chipotle but better! The staff provided excellent customer service. If you haven't tried it I highly recommend you do! read more

The food is good but it's extremely disappointing how cold the food is immediately after I purchase it. It could be a contendor for Chipotle if only they could keep the food warm. Microwaving after purchase is a must, however this also has cons because I dislike having to microwave the cold items like the lettuce, greens, and tomatoes. read more

Honestly I love CAVA but this location is a absolutely terrible!!!! They're always out of items like the Harrisa Chicken and Right rice which is widely available at other locations. The workers there have told me straight up to not order my regular order because most of what I get is never in stock. The workers there regularly seemed bummed out and not wanting to be there and that is a reflection of the terrible management of this location. Also the portions of what you pay for is absolutely terrible and feels like I'm getting half of what I normally get at every location. Don't go here. Go to other Cava locations but this one is one to avoid because it is a waste of money. I was a regular here but now I'm a regular at every other location in the area and will not return to this location. They need to fire the management and revamp this location because it is pitiful. Giving 2 stars because generally cava is good, but should be 1 star otherwise read more

Staff was kind and friendly . Overall experience was great . Order time was quick and easy .

I absolutely loved the greens and roasted vegetables. I liked being able to choose which ingredients I liked. Loved the black lentils and portion of pita that came with it! I wish these were in Texas where I live! read more

Great food and great service by the team led by Julisa!! Just love CAVA in VillLaJolla drive! Amazing service, quality read more

If you order online there's a 100% chance they will fuck up your order. I think everyone who works there is actually illiterate. Like seriously you just read what the order says and put it in a bowl, how hard is it? They have messed up our online order everytime I don't even know why I bother anymore. They also have zero customer service and don't give you your money back when they inevitably screw up your order. So that's fun read more

Great food! Fast service everyone is super nice!! The food is always fresh and they keep everything fresh in the assembly line. No complaints read more

i love this place, so good. bomb ass food and good customer service can get really busy read more

Worst lunch of my life! I waited 25 min in line to get the worst chicken pita sandwich possible. The bread was cold and soggy. The chicken was tasteless. And the combination of stuff in it was not good either. Some stuff were sweet, some were salty and they were not going together. The staff were tired and short tempered too. There are plenty of other good choices in the same shopping center. Save your time and get something that you can actually eat some where else. read more

Cava is a frequent haunt of mine. So many variations of a overall healthier fast food choice. I like how crisp their veggies are and the warm saffron rice is so yummy. Why a 4/5? - consistency is lacking. I admire how clean, stocked, and collected everyone was during a recent dinner rush. But I will say that it's a hit or miss with the cleanliness and stocked items. But there's always friendly service! read more

I have had cava before in LA, and I was so pleasantly surprised to see one was opening here! It's like the Chipotle of Mediterranean food. The grain bowl is my go-to, and I always get harissa because I love spicy. For the proteins, I like to change it up- I've tried almost every one they have and they're all really good. The employees at this particular location are really sweet- today, Riley helped me and he was super nice and asked if I wanted extra of anything or wanted to combine proteins. The place is cute too- there's both outdoor and indoor seating available. Overall, highly recommended! read more

Of all the CAVAs this one is the absolute best great staff food is fresh and delicious

I love CAVA but this is the absolute worst location I've ever ordered from. I tend to either DoorDash or pickup the order-- every time they have messed up the order. They always forget the side pita, they don't give you your sauces on the side or even add it to the bowl-- one time i even received a bowl and they forgot the protein! Unbelievable. Go to the mission valley location instead. They also never pick up their phone. read more

May first experience here was amazing! The employee Zachary that helped me was fantastic. They were so friendly and the food is amazing! I appreciated all of the wonderful recommendations and amazing service provided!! Thank you! read more

This was my first time coming and the service was disgusting. Three people made my bowl and EVERY person was rushing me, had an ATTITUDE, and barely filled my bowl. I've worked in customer service so I understand if maybe if they personally felt rushed but there was only one family behind me. I don't want to come again because of the service so disappointing. read more

The stars here must be for the quality of the food. Everything else ruins it here. They are drastically understaffed, slow as absolute molasses, and the serving area is an absolute mess constantly. read more

The food is amazing and CAVA if my favorite lunch pick. However, it is always so hectic and absolute chaos around lunchtime, which is a given, BUT It feels understaffed at this time & the ONE person working the food bar has NO sense of urgency with the huge line & multiple people waiting for their pickup orders. It takes me 20-30 minutes after my chosen pickup time to get my food after placing my order online. It would seriously be quicker to just hop in line to order versus ordering online for pickup. Other than that, I cannot recommend the garlic dressing enough haha. read more

I've been refraining from posting a negative review for quite some time, since I love the food at CAVA, but errors have been made too many times for me not to. I occasionally place my orders through the app for easy pickup and it is completed 30 minutes after the expected time given. They don't start making it until I arrive and give them my name, at this location and the one in the Mission Valley mall. I understand that it can get quite busy around lunch time, but it would be helpful to give an accurate time of completion so people know what to expect and can plan accordingly. I order "Fiery Broccoli" (which is advertised on a poster in the restaurant location) every single time and have not once received it in my bowl. Pictured is the only piece of broccoli I found this time around (if you can even call it that). In addition, there wasn't any dressing, olives, or utensils included, as requested. I placed my order too early in the day for them to be out of ingredients already. Every time I visit, my order is missing something. For the high price point, they shouldn't be skimping on portions. Please fill the bowls more than halfway and start giving customers what they're paying for. Might make a difference to wait in line and stand in front of them while they make it vs. placing an order through an app. read more

i love that you can get a build your own option or the option to choose one of their signature bowls. i always do the build you own. the chicken is my favorite protein and the pita is soo good! read more

Food was lukewarm and average. Expensive for what you get. No ice in the machine and had to ask for staff to refill the drinks as half were empty. Worst of all, this location was filthy. The drink station was caked with old spills. The trash was overflowing, and the restrooms were a disaster. If I wanted a dirty place to eat, I could've gone to a local taco shop and save 50%. This was my first experience with Cava. It may be my last. read more

Quality and service going downhill. Placed an online order that was ready 20 minutes after quoted time. This was also the case the last time I placed an order online prior to today. Today, my bowl was missing my falafel and dressings, but I didn't notice until after I had already left and reached my destination. And just overall, the quality of ingredients and amount of food they actually give you in your bowl just doesn't seem the same as when they first opened a few years ago. read more
