Cava is so amazing! When my company has Cava cater a lunch, that's a meeting I'm excited about! I've always had it to go, but the food is consistently good. The cookies are the perfect end to any meal... not too sweet, but a perfect finish. My favorite menu item is the Harissa Avocado Bowl. Sweet, spicy, tangy, creamy, perfection. Pretty disappointing. My crispy falafel wrap was a soupy mess of too much sauce and not crispy at all. My wife's bowl was really small and missing the pita side... Maybe they're just understaffed like everywhere else? The line was almost to the door and multiple people were waiting for pickup. Cava is a twist on "quick" Mediterranean food. You can select bowls, pitas, with all types of variety of toppings. I'm a person that prefers to customize my food, almost every single time! LOL The fact that I can do that at Cava, already rates it high on my list. The fact that I can customize and the food is fresh and good, is even more important! Cava-Kennesaw is in a busy retail plaza with a lot of other restaurants and shops. There's plenty of parking, in the vicinity of the restaurant. My go to is a salad bowl with the grilled chicken, a variety of toppings and Greek vinaigrette. I'm going to try the spicy Harissa chicken on one of my trips, but I like my salad so much, it's been hard moving to something different. I've never had an complaints on service at Cava. My only small complaint is that I shouldn't have to ask for you to fill up the serving spoon with toppings, for the price that we're paying. We'll definitely keep coming back to Cava. It's our quick go to for fresh, healthy, and tasty food! read more

Many of the staff here know my name, and Emma even recognized how often I come and gave me a free meal! My new favorite lunch spot! The concept is very similar to Chipotle or Sweet Greens, where you choose what you want in your bowl. They have so many options and their spices are out of this world. Every time, their bowls are always flavor packed. My first time here, the staff was very kind to let me try 4 different sauces so I can figure out my favorite for my next visits. The staff is always friendly and fast with service (today it was Catlyn, Catherine and Ashylyn), but all that work up front are always friendly and helpful. The food is also very good. Honestly, I waited for awhile to visit this place. I was mad about losing Zoe's at this spot. Okay, so I'm not mad anymore. It's really good, fast Mediterranean food. The design style is cute, nice, and clean. The prices are fair. They have a menu of suggestions, but it's kind of like a Subway or Moe's, where you tell them what to add as you go down the line, so you can completely customize your meal. You choose a base, a protein, beans, and then all your veg. For my first visit, I decided to go with a menu item: the harissa chicken bowl. I will say that the flavors were on point, but the spice level was high! Nothing on the signage really communicated that this was going to be hooooot! Luckily, I asked for the dressing on the side, or I would have died. It really didn't need a dressing anyway. My husband loved his falafel gyro. I will go again, for sure, but I will ask the level of spice on each. Apparently, harissa is hot. ;) read more

This place was so good. It's a similar concept to chipotle where you can make a bowl and pick your own proteins, sauces, and toppings. There are so many options that anyone can find at least one thing they will like. I ordered the harissa chicken and it was super flavorful and went well with all the toppings I picked. For drinks, their choices were also plentiful. My favorite was the pineapple, apple, and mint juice. All of them were super refreshing. This will be my go to lunch spot in Kennesaw. read more

I love. Cava!!!!! It's an angelic genius perfect combination of Zoe's Kitchen and Chipotle. You go through the line making your entree (bowl or pita) like you would at Chipotle with delicious Mediterranean inspired food that you would find at Zoe's. You can order off the menu or make your own--my personal favorite. Making your own also tends to be cheaper. One bowl can almost always feed me for two meals which is a huge added bonus of going--ask for your bowl to go--and they'll get you a to go bowl with a lid on it for you. I do prefer to order on the app rather than wait in line because I'm not super familiar with all the dips and dressings and hate to read up on them off the menu while in line. I also don't worry about my food not being hot because with the exception of the protein, the food is served cold. For this location I especially recommend ordering on the app because the line can be very long, especially for lunch time. They have indoor and outdoor seating, and the dining room tends to be clean. Great QSR Mediterranean vegan options - Our son loved the kids burrito with falafel and we both got tasty bowls. Mine is pictured and had saffron rice as the base, falafel, roasted veggies and potatoes, with corn, Kalamata olives and a bunch of other colorful plant-based sides. The pita chips are very flavorful, but definitely have a pepper party kick. We will definitely come back! read more

Finally got to try it! 5:45 on a Monday night. Steady inside, but not slammed. Short line. The two workers were super helpful for our first time there (me and child), and very patient w us. We got it to go and it was very fast! I scanned the menu a bit and decided on the harissa avocado bowl (chicken). I asked the worker if there was anything I was missing out on-- since I love all the things!!/ or was I better off making my own bowl? She said that was the most popular bowl and had all the good stuff, but she'd personally add taziki (the yogurt sauce), and I did! Nothing is extra charge (other than the extra items like avocado etc). My son is way pickier. He got the kids pita plate (think that's what it was.). And it comes w a drink-- they have Honest juice which was great! He chose basmati rice (he wasn't a fan- which is nuts because it's amazing w cilantro and saffron in it- yum!), he reluctantly chose the beef meatballs (I told him they're hamburger lol), grilled corn, feta cheese, side pita bread, and taziki sauce, plus another yogurt dill dressing sauce. (Put dressings on the side). He liked the meatballs. Since he didn't like the rice, we loaded up all his goodies into the pita bread to make a sandwich. Sauces and all. And he loved it!!! Said it was all amazing! lol Hes a foodie, yet picky. I LOVED my bowl! I was a bit turned off by the price-- $13+. But honestly, it's massive w sooo much stuff. All the goodness, and a good portion of avocado (shared avo w little guy). So this will be two meals for me for sure. $20 total w kids meal and mine. I've been twice to this location and always appreciate the customer service; however I recently opted to support this business via Ubereats and noticed the quality difference and inconsistencies immediately. I just spent $14 for a bowl where the bottom was barely covered. Just enough greens to make a 1cm layer at the the bottom...and yet served in these huge bowls. I've support Cava in 2 states, 4 cities over the past 2 years and I can tell you, what I received today was not the correct portion or regulation size. I understand cutting costs for inflation, but don't undercut your customers in the process. If you don't have enough product on hand to make the bowl right, cancel the order: don't just take our money. Look at the stock photos shared. Was really excited to see this open, as I'd been to this chain a few times in California. My bowl was very tasty. I got one of the curated bowls and asked for a few extra of the unlimited toppings and they were pretty stingy with them. Plenty of parking available. My fave bowls are the lentil avocado and the white sweet potato. Super tasty and pretty healthy as far as takeout goes. read more

The food has always been good but after today, I have decided that I will not return. I waited in line for a whopping 20 minutes to get my salad and then realized that what I had paid was not worth it. I paid for extra protein with white potatoes and got a drink and it came out to $17. Not to mention the fact that they are very back and forth with their discounts that are offered half the time and the other half not. I am halfway tempted to call corporate just to let them know how understaffed they are for a place like this in the area they are. They have a variety of Mediterranean options from Greek to Tunisian and Israeli toppings, so was quite cool to have this. Favorite toppings were the roasted egg plant, harissa and schug. I can see myself coming here often for relatively healthy bowls, while Zoe's kitchen was good, this place is much better IMO. read more

I am completely hooked on the Cava food. It is like a healthy Mediterranean line served food, or order in advance to pick up. The only thing that drives me crazy about this amazing restaurant concept is that they do not have enough people on the line to move people along quickly. Fast forward to after 11:35 and they finally gave me my order but no pita. I was very upset that I had to wait so long.
