The portions are huge and you can create your own bowl or pitas. The only helpful thing would have been to have labels indicating what each topping is, because it was a little confusing and overwhelming. Otherwise, it was seriously delicious. I order food here once a week for myself and co workers. I always order online at least hour half to two hours ahead of pick up time. Yet every time I go in to pick it up its not ready.. They START to make it EVERY time I'm standing there and tell them my name. I know it tends to get busy in the restaurant department but there shouldn't be a reason it's not ready by the pick up time asked. The last two times I have ordered they get the order wrong. I was a little overwhelmed by the options. You can get salads and bowls, different types of hummus, meats, toppings. Everything is really fresh and healthy. And it's good too! This place offers a healthy, fresh, vibe. While it can be a little noisy, it's definitely a place you will feel good eating at, especially because of their sustainable efforts and recycling. I got a chicken rice bowl (saffron rice) and was a little disappointed after what I read in the reviews. The chicken was ok, but pretty burnt. Only two of the hummus options were gluten free. I tried them both, and one was not good at all. Also, I forgot to say what dressing I wanted, and the person making my food didn't say anything. Maybe that would have made a difference in the flavor, because there wasn't really any except when I had a bite of banana pepper, tomato, or hummus. Overall, I would give this place one more try because of the healthy ingredients. I will just try to get 3 scoops of the hummus I liked and ask them to recommend whatever dressing is popular. read more

This is an EXCEPTIONAL place, the food is so fresh and delicious. So many exquisite flavors on your palette. And the staff was so friendly and happy this place is full of smiles ! The line worker when I went in, NIDIA was great , it was my first time here and she had so much patience and smiles for all my questions and she had so much knowledge of everything on the menu. After all the hype I tried it out for myself. The service was fast and friendly. They have a kids meal which was nice. My kid loved the meatballs and chocolate milk. The rice bowl was plentiful as I was unable to finish it all. I like the different juices they offer. The different toppings were fresh tasting but over all the food is just not my taste. I don't get the hype. Cava is good, but still convenience food assembly-line style. The servers work really hard to get you your food. It was appreciated. Plus, they're missing a number of my favorite middle eastern/Mediterranean toppings like beets and pickled radishes and they call their kofta "meatballs" for some strange reason. I wasnt impressed but many of my friends really enjoy their food. It is an amazing idea to have the assembly line in creating your meal much similar to Chipotle. I have tried the chicken and the spicy meatballs. The hummus, crazy feta, and others are booming with taste. The rice shouldn't really be considered saffron rice as it barely has any. If only there was a half star option I'd give this place 3 1/2 stars. I always get the spicy lamb meatballs and mostly all of the toppings they offer. It's​ always enjoyable BUT I find it to be inconsistent. This by no means is a cheap meal as it costs me close to $14 a pop and that's because I usually get a soft pita and some taziki sauce on the side. My problems are that one day you'll get nicely sized perfectly cooked meatballs and the next time they are super small and so dry you almost have to have extra taziki sauce on the side to get them down. I understand things will vary, especially when it's all cooked fresh but being one of the main proteins I feel there should be more consistency with the preparation and cooking. As for the toppings they have a a ton of delicious things to pick from. Iwouldn't quite say I'm "that guy" but I do like extra stuff in my meal like banana peppers and lemons Etc. but I always have issues and a lot of the times it's as if I'm frustrating those preparing my meal if I ask for something extra and with the amount I'm paying I don't see it being a problem. Hell, charge me for it because if it's what I want I'll pay for it but I don't need attitudes. Otherwise it tastes amazing. I've only ever gotten my food to go but the place is clean with plenty of seating(outdoor) as well and they have a cool drink selection. read more
