    sultan's choice

A bit pricey for the category, but honestly, the food is better than some sit down restaurants. We just had dinner that costs us double this place and had left unsatisfied. Today, we tried this place and it was so much better than our restaurant experience. The food was plentiful for us and it was prepared quickly. The chicken and steak that we had were good. The food wasn't doused in garlic or salt so we didn't feel weighed down afterwards. The pita was freshly baked and we watched them bake it. There is plenty of parking in the back. Depending on the time of the day, the closest parking lot may be hard to get in and out of the place. Luckily there are two entry and exit points. The food is good. It's a bit more expensive than say other fast casual places, but the food tastes and feels more fresh. I would come back on a regular basis here. I loved the tile work here and how spacious it was inside.

    lamb kefta salad bowl
    Farhat K.

Wow, I was on keto when I had a salad bowl with lamb kefta (easily my fav protein option here and worth the up-charge) and it knocked my socks off with how good it tasted. This was my full order: mixed greens, arugula, lamb kefta, roasted vegetables, turkish salad, roasted tomato & pepper dip, red cabbage slaw, tzatziki dip, spicy feta dip, crumbled feta, caramelized eggplant, cherry tomatoes, sumac cucumbers, tzatziki, lemon garlic The cashier was super nice and the place was clean and airy. Glad to have checked them out.

I usually get in line to order. Today, I order from the App. Two bowls ordered. Both had less chicken than I expected. In person, they usually put a spoons worth then some more. Both bowls had less than a spoons worth. Also, they built the bowl differently. Chicken first, then toppings, then greens. Like, they hid the protein so we could not tell when picking up it was not the normal serving. One bowl also had an extra topping not listed. I will try and figure what it was the next time I walk in to order. The food itself was fresh looking and tasting.

Thursday 12/7/2023 My first Mediterranean make your own bowl experience was pretty bad (with cava) but mezeh was definitely a step up. I knew about mezeh for a while but never made the effort to go until my friend recommended it. I made a takeout order using the app and as a first timer I was able to get 5$ off my order which is always appreciated (meal went from $12.66 to $7.66). I got custom spinach & chicken shawarma bowl (with white rice, pita croutons, spicy pickled cauliflower, feta, roasted corn salsa, pearl couscous, classic hummus, Lebanese tabbalou, Turkish salad, Spicy feta dip, baba ganoush, tzatziki and balsamic vinaigrette). The bowl was actually pretty good. The taste was there and the portions (especially protein) were good. Overall, This is more in line of what I had expected from these type of Mediterranean (build your own) places and I can definitely say that mezeh is without a doubt better than cava. It's a solid option that I would recommend and be open to retuning to.

Last night I ordered the chicken chicken bowl and I was impressed. The combination between the beets, hummus, rice chickpeas, and chicken was phenomenal. Everything went together so well. The portion size was great too! At another fast casual place, the bowl is one serving, this could've been two, I was just in a mood last night. The pickup was fast and under 15 minutes from order to pickup. No complaints and looking forward to more orders, hopefully it's consistently this good.

I ordered through the doordash app and the service was right on time, they had reasonable portions for each topping and each topping has its own kick to it. Although they packed up my bowl with these beautiful colors, I was hoping for more lemon in the tabbouleh, didn't have that acidic touch. The hummus & baba ganoush was creamy & balanced out the crunchiness of the sumac cucumbers & crispy falafel. I ordered two sauces on the side tzatziki (creamy, chunky consistency) and spicy mango but it was not spicy at all. I love how they have middle eastern music playing inside the restaurant, I must come back to sit down to have the full experience.

    Rotten avocado

I order avocado with my order and I got the most rotten slice ever and got charged $1.25 for it.

    Mediterranean pizza - Mezeh Margherita

Great location!! I've been a huge fan of Mezeh since I first had it at a Yelp Elite event years ago! I visited this past weekend for the first time. I'm not on this side of town often, but was nearby and wanted to try their Mediterranean flatbreads. I wasn't starving but wanted something small - well this was a perfect choice. At $7, can't beat the price. I got the Mezeh Margherita and I loved it. I would get it again! I placed an order on the mobile app and when I arrived, my order was ready. If you don't have the app already, get it so you can rack up points! The customer service was great! The restaurant was very clean! There is plenty of parking!

    And so it begins...

Grand Opening Night, the long line was worth the wait. Friendly staff, kept the crowd engaged. There's a contest to win free Mezeh for the year if you scan the QRC code Very clean and nice deco inside. Their concept is Chipotle style. Pick a bowl, pita sandwich or a salad, pick a protein, . So many delicious toppings. Tzakiki is my favorite but the Hadassah was not for me,, too spicy. However, I tried their spiced toasted chick peas, and it was good. It was busy but they worked the lines fast. Food is delicious! The lamb is cooked to perfection and worth the surcharge. I'll definitely come to this location. I recommend parking in the back.

Yay Mezeh! And $5 bowls right now

Another Mezeh location! And what great timing, because my sister just moved to the area! I'm guessing it's fairly new, since it has so few reviews, but yay!! This is like the 5th or 6th location I've visited. I think it's safe to say I'm a huge Mezeh fan. They have a deal where you can get $5 bowls if you buy a drink with them... it must be a grand opening deal! Well, my sister's fam and I took full advantage and we all got some nice hearty bowls and drinks! There's honestly nothing to complain about at this location... the decor is fresh and new, and everything is quite clean! The staff are friendly, and we had no issues placing our orders. I just wish I ordered the cauliflower rice. Next time!

I normally don't eat at Cava because healthy food doesn't typically excite me, however, since I have been eating poorly lately I decided to give this a try. I came with a colleague for lunch. I decided to get a custom warm bowl ($9.95) which included: herb roasted chicken ($4.65), roasted tofu ($2.65), cucumber, carrot, arugula, and spinach (choice of four toppings). I also got a can of Cola ($3.65). I loved my bowl, the chicken was nicely seasoned and I haven't had tofu in a while so I really enjoyed it. I thought the bowl and soda were both pricy, however, had I stuck to a bowl off the menu, I would have saved a bit. Unlike Cava and other similar operations, I like that they have a large selection of sauces to choose from. I enjoyed the Chipotle and Ranch sauces. The restaurant has limited seating, but most patrons got their food to go. There is street parking, a garage, and a lot behind the restaurant. They have two types of loyalty programs, one is free and the other one is an annual membership that offers additional perks. I really enjoyed my bowl and would return albeit not frequently given that it's a bit pricy. Glad I decided to give it a try.

Last night my husband and I decided to dine in. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with cultural artifacts and art. This may just be a me thing but the serveware was envy worthy. It was gorgeous. I'm obsessed with beautiful dishware. There were only two people taking orders and serving food for an almost full dining room so we were understanding of a bit of a wait time. The staff were very friendly and checked in on us when they could. We ordered the khachipuri, samsa, oxtail, chohobli, steamed rice, pilmeni, and hot tea. Both the khachipuri and samsa were flaky pastries: khachapuri filled with a salty stretchy cheese with a cheese pull that tasted better than it was Instagram-able and samsa filled with a savory meat/onion mixture served with a tomato based sauce. Get one per person because you will not want to share. We ordered fried mini dumplings which are filled with meat and also served with same tomato based sauce that came with the samsa. They were delicious but afterwards I saw that you can get them steamed in a broth, I told myself I have to get that next time. The slow-cooked, tender oxtail was served over the best crispy, fat-fried potatoes I've ever had. The chohobli (chicken stew) was fall off the bone into a delicious tomato-based stew. We ordered the rice to sop up the delicious stew. The tea really helped to cut the richness of all the delicious food. I have not shut up about this place since we had this meal.
