    lamb kefta salad bowl
    Farhat K.

Wow, I was on keto when I had a salad bowl with lamb kefta (easily my fav protein option here and worth the up-charge) and it knocked my socks off with how good it tasted. This was my full order: mixed greens, arugula, lamb kefta, roasted vegetables, turkish salad, roasted tomato & pepper dip, red cabbage slaw, tzatziki dip, spicy feta dip, crumbled feta, caramelized eggplant, cherry tomatoes, sumac cucumbers, tzatziki, lemon garlic The cashier was super nice and the place was clean and airy. Glad to have checked them out.

I usually get in line to order. Today, I order from the App. Two bowls ordered. Both had less chicken than I expected. In person, they usually put a spoons worth then some more. Both bowls had less than a spoons worth. Also, they built the bowl differently. Chicken first, then toppings, then greens. Like, they hid the protein so we could not tell when picking up it was not the normal serving. One bowl also had an extra topping not listed. I will try and figure what it was the next time I walk in to order. The food itself was fresh looking and tasting.

Thursday 12/7/2023 My first Mediterranean make your own bowl experience was pretty bad (with cava) but mezeh was definitely a step up. I knew about mezeh for a while but never made the effort to go until my friend recommended it. I made a takeout order using the app and as a first timer I was able to get 5$ off my order which is always appreciated (meal went from $12.66 to $7.66). I got custom spinach & chicken shawarma bowl (with white rice, pita croutons, spicy pickled cauliflower, feta, roasted corn salsa, pearl couscous, classic hummus, Lebanese tabbalou, Turkish salad, Spicy feta dip, baba ganoush, tzatziki and balsamic vinaigrette). The bowl was actually pretty good. The taste was there and the portions (especially protein) were good. Overall, This is more in line of what I had expected from these type of Mediterranean (build your own) places and I can definitely say that mezeh is without a doubt better than cava. It's a solid option that I would recommend and be open to retuning to.

Last night I ordered the chicken chicken bowl and I was impressed. The combination between the beets, hummus, rice chickpeas, and chicken was phenomenal. Everything went together so well. The portion size was great too! At another fast casual place, the bowl is one serving, this could've been two, I was just in a mood last night. The pickup was fast and under 15 minutes from order to pickup. No complaints and looking forward to more orders, hopefully it's consistently this good.

I ordered through the doordash app and the service was right on time, they had reasonable portions for each topping and each topping has its own kick to it. Although they packed up my bowl with these beautiful colors, I was hoping for more lemon in the tabbouleh, didn't have that acidic touch. The hummus & baba ganoush was creamy & balanced out the crunchiness of the sumac cucumbers & crispy falafel. I ordered two sauces on the side tzatziki (creamy, chunky consistency) and spicy mango but it was not spicy at all. I love how they have middle eastern music playing inside the restaurant, I must come back to sit down to have the full experience.

    Rotten avocado

I order avocado with my order and I got the most rotten slice ever and got charged $1.25 for it.

Great location!! I've been a huge fan of Mezeh since I first had it at a Yelp Elite event years ago! I visited this past weekend for the first time. I'm not on this side of town often, but was nearby and wanted to try their Mediterranean flatbreads. I wasn't starving but wanted something small - well this was a perfect choice. At $7, can't beat the price. I got the Mezeh Margherita and I loved it. I would get it again! I placed an order on the mobile app and when I arrived, my order was ready. If you don't have the app already, get it so you can rack up points! The customer service was great! The restaurant was very clean! There is plenty of parking!

    And so it begins...

Grand Opening Night, the long line was worth the wait. Friendly staff, kept the crowd engaged. There's a contest to win free Mezeh for the year if you scan the QRC code Very clean and nice deco inside. Their concept is Chipotle style. Pick a bowl, pita sandwich or a salad, pick a protein, . So many delicious toppings. Tzakiki is my favorite but the Hadassah was not for me,, too spicy. However, I tried their spiced toasted chick peas, and it was good. It was busy but they worked the lines fast. Food is delicious! The lamb is cooked to perfection and worth the surcharge. I'll definitely come to this location. I recommend parking in the back.

Yay Mezeh! And $5 bowls right now

As expected. Lots of choices. Service was nothing special. Restaurant seemed to be more carry out service as we were one of 4 sitting.

The only thing that could have made it better is if they warmed the Stacie. The Hottie was toasted and is basically like eating Thanksgiving but in a sandwich. The location in Germantown is a bit hard to find, but there's ample open parking in front of an office building that looks pretty quiet. Got there around 1 pm, they close at 3 pm, and the service was efficient and the staff was kind too! Definitely go here as your local sandwich shop!

To my luck, we had great Uzbek food less than 15 mins away! It was a while ago but we ordered the samsa, manti, kutabi, plov, and chohohbli, and I can't recall what else but we loved it! Last night my husband and I decided to dine in. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with cultural artifacts and art. This may just be a me thing but the serveware was envy worthy. It was gorgeous. I'm obsessed with beautiful dishware. There were only two people taking orders and serving food for an almost full dining room so we were understanding of a bit of a wait time. The staff were very friendly and checked in on us when they could. We ordered the khachipuri, samsa, oxtail, chohobli, steamed rice, pilmeni, and hot tea. Both the khachipuri and samsa were flaky pastries: khachapuri filled with a salty stretchy cheese with a cheese pull that tasted better than it was Instagram-able and samsa filled with a savory meat/onion mixture served with a tomato based sauce. Get one per person because you will not want to share. We ordered fried mini dumplings which are filled with meat and also served with same tomato based sauce that came with the samsa. They were delicious but afterwards I saw that you can get them steamed in a broth, I told myself I have to get that next time. The slow-cooked, tender oxtail was served over the best crispy, fat-fried potatoes I've ever had. The chohobli (chicken stew) was fall off the bone into a delicious tomato-based stew. We ordered the rice to sop up the delicious stew. The tea really helped to cut the richness of all the delicious food. I have not shut up about this place since we had this meal. I will rave about it to just about anyone that will listen in hopes that they will come with me next time so we can order more dishes to share.

Friendly service, the other table there on a Tuesday night were from that region, speaking in native tongue. Speaking of tongue, that is on the menu as well. We started with pickled veggies, cucumbers, red cabbage and green tomatoes- very tasty! The crispy potatoes were amazing, perhaps fried in beef fat? So Lucious, I doubt it was olive oil. The lamb loin kebab was tender and tasty, and at $10.99 a bargain! The shrimp kabab was just as affordable, yet I though I though they were a bit overdone.
