Okey Poke is honestly overpriced for what you get. The food is just okay nothing special or memorable. The portions don't really justify the price, and the flavors are pretty average. Was doing errands in the area and stopped in here real quick to grab a boba tea latte. While waiting for our boba drinks - we watched a ton of people come in to order poke and sushi - so many in fact that we ended up ordering a create your own sushi roll. That roll ended up being one of the best rolls we've ever eaten and we only ordered one to have as a snack which made it that much more yum. Stopped here on they way to Pennsylvania. Wanted something other than fast food and this place for the bill! Service was super fast! I ordered hibachi chicken.... Cooked fresh and perfectly. Husband ordered the volcano bowl based on recommendation from server. Both dishes had super fresh ingredients and I loved that I could pick and choose due to dietary restrictions. I came here after grocery shopping next door. It is located on the first floor of an office building. The inside is not very clean. It needs to repairs or updated fixtures and there are some spider webs. I do recommend using this place as take out. Compared to other poke places, you actually get a bit more for the amount you pay. The food is not bad and it does fix the poke desire if you have one. There isn't one too close by. Compared to other places nearby, you can get more food for the amount, but it will be unhealthy options. It serves a niche in this area. You have to be aiming for a healthy option that isn't fried or heavily dependent on meats. You can spent a little more for something nicer like raw fish without getting sushi. Just the way I like it! Ordered for pick up and then ended up staying anyway. The food was very satisfying. As a fan of Poke, i think this hits the spot. Plenty of toppings and warm rice. The service while quick because I picked up from the front, service was polite and helpful and I felt very comfortable staying in to eat even though I ordered to take out. With 4.5 stars, I had high hopes for Okey Poke. This was my first time there and likely my last. Rice was pretty warm and was plain (not sushi rice). Marinated salmon and spicy tuna (not spicy) both had little to no flavor. Portion sizes for the proteins were tiny and carefully scooped. Toppings were standard and all of them didn't look fresh. Yuzu jalapeno sauce was good, but barely made it out of the squirt bottle since it was on the low side. It did however come with a good amount of picked ginger, which I love. So that helped with the flavor. My pick 3: brown rice, green mix, spicy salmon, black pepper tuna, ceviche, kani salad, seaweed salad, edamame, cucumber, radish, purple cabbage, avocado, ginger sauce, gochujang, poke sauce, fried garlic and nori. Pick 3 is a winner! The flavor and filling. Perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The pepper tuna would be perfect by itself. I got the grapefruit see pineapple tea. Had this other day while in the office. My manager and I ordered it through the website. The poke bowl had a lot of options you can add: up to 10 toppings, 4 sauces, and your choice of the number of proteins you want to add. I would say they didn't add that much protein though. I've ordered takeout poke bowls here since they opened, and the bowls used to be consistently good, but the last two times were very disappointing. Both times I ordered a Sakura bowl (with marinated salmon), which I've had several times before. When I ordered it a couple of weeks ago, it was almost too salty to eat (I only forced myself to finish it because I didn't want to waste the money)--it looked and tasted like there was too much soy sauce or other salty sauce. This week I decided to give them another try in case the previous one was an off day. When I ordered the Sakura bowl by phone this time, I told them about the previous problem and asked that they be careful not to put too much soy sauce or other salty sauce in it. Well, this time it did not have much (if any) sauce, but that wasn't the problem--the problem was that this time the bowl was missing at least one important ingredient (avocado) and was skimpy on other ingredients such as the greens and edamame. Since each of these bowls costs over $15, I can't justify going there again and possibly wasting more money. Also (and maybe this has something to do with the inconsistent quality), there seems to be a fair amount of staff turnover, and in general they are not particularly friendly or helpful. read more

There was this one time I went to the location and I forgot the young lady name but she was very helpful on questions we on the menu and gave us a discount. She also mentioned that it's better to order online since they have more options to choose from and they would being the food to your car when it's ready for safety. Another time I call in after my door dash order to make sure they got my custom order on my mango tango and crispy poke. After I got off the phone with them they called me back to make sure I didn't miss any toppings because at that time in the notes section online you can only write a certain amount of characters. I always order the mango tango which was always good and the crispy poke is good too you can add all 3 of the fish to your bowl but today I decided to create my own bowl with Salmon and the picture speaks for itself. I like that they have options for people who like cooked protein. The drinks are also good I had the Pink Summer which it's like pink lemonade with strawberry and I had the colorful fruit teas which is delicious it's like fruit juice mix with tea and different actual fruits in them. Poke is not a new concept nowadays, but Okey Poke stands out to me because of the attention to detail. I like that their wasabi tastes strongly of wasabi and isn't watered down or sweetened in a sauce. I like that all of their ingredients, including the avocado, are mindfully sliced into bite-sized portions so that mixing the bowl is easier and each bite is more balanced. I like that they're generous with the sauces (personal preference) and that their toppings add a nice, crunchy texture. I like that you can still taste each of the ingredients through the sauces so that it doesn't just taste like it's coated in sugar. If I had to criticize something, I don't like that the masago and wasabi cost extra, since those are two of my favorite toppings. Their spicy salmon also isn't that spicy. Overall, though, the portion sizes are decent and the flavor is on point, and there's a lot to set Okey Poke aside from other poke places. The value is about what you would expect for poke. Definitely one of my top choices for poke in the area. read more

Great poke! First time visit here yesterday and got the make it your own with shrimp and ceviche. The ceviche was made fresh and cut up in front of you. The ingredients are super fresh and staff is nice and accommodating. They let you pick up to 24 toppings for your bowl and in the end for ~$13-$14 it is good value for the amount of food and seafood you're getting. The spicy mayo, ginger and lime salt are great seasonings/sauces and the "crunch" is my fav! Adds that texture to the bowl. Very healthy option and they I'm sure they have vegetarian/vegan friendly options if you ask too! They also just opened 3 weeks ago so it is a tough time to be open but I have a feeling once the virus situation is over they will be doing well. Hope they can keep it up.
