A great poke spot for a quick bite. The staff are kind and the interior is nice. They have a lot of interesting bowl options which they all do well. Please get rid of the AI art out front. Your food is far prettier than the crappy AI images. I have recommended this place to people who decided not to go there after seeing the AI art. read more

Unassuming in location and quality! The poke here is more than okey! A quick grab and go spot with limited seating. The portions are always massive and big enough to share in my opinion. The fish has always been fresh and the toppings are abundant in variety and quantity. read more

Excellent poke bowl with great quality and fresh ingredients. The fish tasted good, the veggies were crisp, and the crunchy items were actually crunchy. Ordered at the iPad and it was made quickly after - very efficient. Got the order to go, but there is seating available (some tables and chairs) for people who want to dine in. Portion is reasonably sized. read more

Very good experience with the young lady behind the counter and the food was delicious.

Was doing errands in the area and stopped in here real quick to grab a boba tea latte. While waiting for our boba drinks - we watched a ton of people come in to order poke and sushi - so many in fact that we ended up ordering a create your own sushi roll. That roll ended up being one of the best rolls we've ever eaten and we only ordered one to have as a snack which made it that much more yum. Because it was so good I will be back to order more and I recommend you stop in too! read more

Okey Poke is honestly overpriced for what you get. The food is just okay nothing special or memorable. The portions don't really justify the price, and the flavors are pretty average. It's not bad, but it's definitely not worth the cost in my opinion. There are better poke spots that offer more flavor and better value for your money. I probably wouldn't go back. read more

It's so hard to find good poke, and for this area, it does not disappoint. The food is fresh and the service is super quick. I would definitely recommend read more

Stopped here on they way to Pennsylvania. Wanted something other than fast food and this place for the bill! Service was super fast! I ordered hibachi chicken.... Cooked fresh and perfectly. Husband ordered the volcano bowl based on recommendation from server. Both dishes had super fresh ingredients and I loved that I could pick and choose due to dietary restrictions. Not a huge restaurant and may not look like a worthwhile place, but we are so glad we stopped! Would stop again if we are ever in area. read more

I came here after grocery shopping next door. It is located on the first floor of an office building. The inside is not very clean. It needs to repairs or updated fixtures and there are some spider webs. I do recommend using this place as take out. Compared to other poke places, you actually get a bit more for the amount you pay. The food is not bad and it does fix the poke desire if you have one. There isn't one too close by. Compared to other places nearby, you can get more food for the amount, but it will be unhealthy options. It serves a niche in this area. You have to be aiming for a healthy option that isn't fried or heavily dependent on meats. You can spent a little more for something nicer like raw fish without getting sushi. They people here were nice and they did well in putting the bowl together. read more

Love this place! This is where I first fell in love with poke and it never disappoints. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, great prices, and always a good experience whether dining in or ordering delivery. Definitely better than Poki DC in my opinion. 10 out of 10!! read more

With 4.5 stars, I had high hopes for Okey Poke. This was my first time there and likely my last. Rice was pretty warm and was plain (not sushi rice). Marinated salmon and spicy tuna (not spicy) both had little to no flavor. Portion sizes for the proteins were tiny and carefully scooped. Toppings were standard and all of them didn't look fresh. Yuzu jalapeno sauce was good, but barely made it out of the squirt bottle since it was on the low side. This was the same for quite a few of the other sauces, so not sure how often they are made fresh. If you're craving poke, I suggest you go elsewhere. read more

Just the way I like it! Ordered for pick up and then ended up staying anyway. The food was very satisfying. As a fan of Poke, i think this hits the spot. Plenty of toppings and warm rice. The service while quick because I picked up from the front, service was polite and helpful and I felt very comfortable staying in to eat even though I ordered to take out. The ambience was clean, smelled fresh, relaxing vibe and had good music. I recommend for quick bite to eat which we all need, but would be ok to hang out for an extra 15 min to chat. read more

Went to the restaurant they didn't have ceviche but the food was delicious. It's like chipotle but Japanese style chipotle. 2 young guys even made the food , it was quite in the restaurant but there was a lot of people carry out. I got the mango bubble drink and it was good. I would also recommend the restaurant to anyone that wants to eat it (who is in Gaithersburg read more

This was my first time ordering from here and the food was bland. I liked their toppings but nothing really had flavor. I built my own bowl and got sushi from here. Sushi wasn't good at all. It as well was bland and the fish wasn't fresh. Idk if I'd order from here again. Thanks Okey Poke! read more

Busy day working from home so I ordered via Grub Hub, arrived on time. The deep bowl was filled with all the yummy treats I had asked for. There was less sushi rice than when I visit in person, less yellow tail than tuna, yet the portion was filling for a lunch item, everything was fresh and at the temperature it was supposed to be. This is one of the many items I have missed during this pandemic. Remember to order from your favorite places, in person or via a delivery app. read more

Ordered online and was ready when I came. Rice was nice and warm still when I got home from a 20min drive. I got sauces on the side as you can see, since I didnt know what tasted good. They gave plenty. As for the proteins I had spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and marinaded tuna. Definitely didnt give much, was hoping for a little more for $15 but hey we live in a tough time right now. They had a lot of toppings. If you dont know what it is I suggest you google it. Overall I was satisfied not too full not too hungry still after. It was just right. read more

This place's poke is amazing!! I've had poke from a few places in my life, including its origin in Hawaii. And I've now gone to this place more than a few times. And this place is awesome. The fish is of superb and great quality! Its quality is unsurpassable. And for a great price point too! I got the large tuna bowl with half white rice and greens. And the tuna has always been fresh, delicious, and amazing. The poke sauce is amazing too! I'd recommend this place 10 out of 10 times. And the ambience is cute and elegant too. Great place! Five stars! read more

Glad I found this place on yelp! I wouldn't have noticed it driving by otherwise. I ordered the make your own bowl, with spicy tuna, spicy salmon and shrimp. I decided on the salad and filled it up with most of the toppings. Everything I had was fresh and good. For the dressing, I wasn't sure which I wanted yet, so I got sesame and ginger, both on the side. I like how they have raw and cooked options. They also have other options if you don't eat seafood, which I see here. read more

Ordered something quick and that could be delivered. The sushi rolls are ok. When I order spicy, I want spicy. These were not spicy at all and lacked flavor, could've used some siracha. It did however come with a good amount of picked ginger, which I love. So that helped with the flavor. My pick 3: brown rice, green mix, spicy salmon, black pepper tuna, ceviche, kani salad, seaweed salad, edamame, cucumber, radish, purple cabbage, avocado, ginger sauce, gochujang, poke sauce, fried garlic and nori. Pick 3 is a winner! The flavor and filling. Perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The pepper tuna would be perfect by itself. I got the grapefruit see pineapple tea. I was expecting citrus, but it is really sweet, not for me. I got my daughter the volcano and the colorful fruit tea, there wasn't much fruit in hers, well it didn't look like the picture. She likes the sweetness. For a quick delivered dinner, I'd eat here again. read more

Had this other day while in the office. My manager and I ordered it through the website. The poke bowl had a lot of options you can add: up to 10 toppings, 4 sauces, and your choice of the number of proteins you want to add. I would say they didn't add that much protein though. I got the spicy salmon which wasn't spicy at all and the marinated peppered tuna that had great flavors. This we super filling and the bowl was very big. My manager also enjoyed her bowl! Definitely will order again :) read more

I ordered take out during the lunch hour so I was not able to pick up my order until 15mins after it was ready. I love the variety if meats they have such as octopus and scallops, and the garnishes are pretty fresh and be tasty. Unfortunately, the portion sizes are smaller than the other local Poke places so I couldn't quite taste the flavoring of the fish I selected. All and all it was pretty good and I would visit again read more

I've ordered takeout poke bowls here since they opened, and the bowls used to be consistently good, but the last two times were very disappointing. Both times I ordered a Sakura bowl (with marinated salmon), which I've had several times before. When I ordered it a couple of weeks ago, it was almost too salty to eat (I only forced myself to finish it because I didn't want to waste the money)--it looked and tasted like there was too much soy sauce or other salty sauce. This week I decided to give them another try in case the previous one was an off day. When I ordered the Sakura bowl by phone this time, I told them about the previous problem and asked that they be careful not to put too much soy sauce or other salty sauce in it. Well, this time it did not have much (if any) sauce, but that wasn't the problem--the problem was that this time the bowl was missing at least one important ingredient (avocado) and was skimpy on other ingredients such as the greens and edamame. Since each of these bowls costs over $15, I can't justify going there again and possibly wasting more money. Also (and maybe this has something to do with the inconsistent quality), there seems to be a fair amount of staff turnover, and in general they are not particularly friendly or helpful. read more

For the portion size of the fish I don't think it's worth it. It's literally smaller than a cookie cutter scoop. For about $13-$15 a bowl with barely any fish I'd say this is just another rice bowl. Not really poke when you can barely eat any fish imo. Service was there nothing to say much. It was empty within the store when I came in to order anyways. read more

I have to say they have the best customer service and food always taste good whenever I order. There was this one time I went to the location and I forgot the young lady name but she was very helpful on questions we on the menu and gave us a discount. She also mentioned that it's better to order online since they have more options to choose from and they would being the food to your car when it's ready for safety. Another time I call in after my door dash order to make sure they got my custom order on my mango tango and crispy poke. After I got off the phone with them they called me back to make sure I didn't miss any toppings because at that time in the notes section online you can only write a certain amount of characters. I always order the mango tango which was always good and the crispy poke is good too you can add all 3 of the fish to your bowl but today I decided to create my own bowl with Salmon and the picture speaks for itself. I like that they have options for people who like cooked protein. The drinks are also good I had the Pink Summer which it's like pink lemonade with strawberry and I had the colorful fruit teas which is delicious it's like fruit juice mix with tea and different actual fruits in them. Also the portion of the drinks are big. If you haven't tried them out you should definitely give them a chance. read more

Great poke! First time visit here yesterday and got the make it your own with shrimp and ceviche. The ceviche was made fresh and cut up in front of you. The ingredients are super fresh and staff is nice and accommodating. They let you pick up to 24 toppings for your bowl and in the end for ~$13-$14 it is good value for the amount of food and seafood you're getting. The spicy mayo, ginger and lime salt are great seasonings/sauces and the "crunch" is my fav! Adds that texture to the bowl. Very healthy option and they I'm sure they have vegetarian/vegan friendly options if you ask too! They also just opened 3 weeks ago so it is a tough time to be open but I have a feeling once the virus situation is over they will be doing well. Hope they can keep it up. Will be back to try the light pink strawberry drink! read more

This is one of our favorite go to's in Gaithersburg. It's right off 355 so super convenient and the bowls are always fresh and tasty.
