One of my favorite places to eat in foco. It's fast but also tastes like good for you food

I for one am so glad CAVA replaced Zoe's Kitchen. CAVA is a fresh take on mediterranean cuisine, much like a fast dining casual restaurant. The food is prepared fresh, with locally sourced ingredients - score for the community - and plated to your needs. There was quite a bit of wait which I'm assuming is due to the 6ft social distancing policy, which is great, and also since its a new place, they're still trying to figure out the most efficient way to speed things up. They have an option between salad bowl, grain bowl or a 50-50 option. I did the grain bowl and boy was it good. The saffron basmati rice is excellent. The brown basmati rice was pretty good too. They give you a complimentary pita, which was delicious although I'm assuming this is only for a limited time. You get to pick 3 sauces - the best ones are the Roasted Red Pepper Hummus, the Tzatziki and the Harissa (if you can handle spice). As for the protein, here's a pro-tip, pay the extra dollar and pick the Braised Lamb (you'll thank me later). This is the best stuff. The vegetable toppings and sauces are unlimited. They have a nice spread to choose from and you'll not be disappointed. Grab a Mexican Cola (regular cola with spices) or a Ginger Beer to chase your food. The Ginger Beer is a personal favorite. It is one of a kind. The service was exceptional. Friendly staff and great food. The ambiance was fantastic as well. Overall, an excellent place. 5 stars. Hand sanitizers are provided. We have been waiting to come here since they opened! FOCO needs healthier options and this is definitely go to! The place was clean, and everything was well stocked. They had a variety of ingredients to choose from! Upset I didn't try the harissa honey chicken, but will get that next time! Their roasted vegetables consisted of roasted carrots, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts and it was delicious! I'm not sure exactly what I put in my mixed green and brown basmati rice bowl, but it tasted so good! I just added a bunch of ingredients! I love how you can choose three dips/ spreads and a sauce to add on top. It brought everything together! Definitely worth the wait! read more

I have already been here to eat 5 times since they opened up a few weeks ago. The staff is so friendly and the food is amazing! Such a great concept for a restaurant, it's like a Mediterranean qdoba but with high quality ingredients that are good for you!! I do a greens and grains bowl and I try to have some leftover for later because the bowl ends up being a solid amount of food but sometimes I just can't stop eating it! Definitely worth the "higher" price point but honestly 10-12 bucks for a decent meal is standard these days. Someone, either the owner or someone from the staff brought me and my coworkers some free bowls to try after they opened and I've been hooked since! read more

The staff are nice and all but every time I come here the portions are smaller and smaller. Annoying but the worst part is how stingy they are with lettuce. Even if you ask for more it's somehow still not enough to eat your bowl like a salad. Seems like a weird thing to be stingy on lettuce isn't very expensive? The restaurant was clean and the food was fresh, but I must echo the other previous Yelpers that expressed some concern about the lack luster experience from the employees. I'm a newbie, and stated so as soon as it was my turn to order and the employee just stood there like "um, ok, there's the menu, what do you want." I felt like it would have been nice if there was a little more catering to new customers since by my recollection this is a relatively new restaurant so everyone could use a little guidance, but I digress, it is pretty self explanatory but a little customer service goes a long way in my opinion. The basics are this, the food is delicious and fresh, some of the best falafel in Fort Collins, and the red pepper hummus is delicious. Loved the drink selection and the prices were fair. This is the most delicious restaurant In Fort Collins.. yeah I said it. For the price, nothing even comes close. It's fresh and delicious every time. Its the only food in the area I get excited to eat. I get the Harissa Avocado nearly every time and just add dill yogurt sauce to the stock bowl, otherwise no changes. Oh and it's a ton of food.. I eat every single bite - and I don't feel terrible afterwards either. Check it out, but don't tell everyone, so I never have to wait in line. read more

I ordered their braised lamb, feta bowl which was delicious. I think leaving the lamb in the stew made it extra tender and flavorful. They laid it on a bed of spring lettuce mix and brown rice. Their regular and red hummus were well blended. I prefer those a little lumpier, but they had great flavor. I added half an avocado for $2, which was pretty reasonable since it was a very good piece with no blemishes and perfect texture. I will definitely be back to try more items like their spicy chicken and meatballs. read more

I had no idea what to expect when going to this place. I was told it was Mediterranean cuisine. The set up is like a Chipotle or Subway where one orders at the counter and then selects the items they want in their bowl. You can get greens or grains. Then you select a protein or veggies, as well as hummus options, more veggies, and dressing. I opted to get a bowl that had saffron rice, greens, grilled chicken, harissa hummus, regular hummus, and the crazy feta option. I went ahead with the garlic sauce and more veggies. This bowl was absolutely delicious. So good. The flavor combos were all great and I cannot wait to go back and try additional options and varieties. They even offer pita that is fresh and warm if you like. The food was very fresh and the flavors are great. They even offer MaineRoot soda on tap which is amazingly good. Seating is ample inside and out. They even have an option to order vos the app or online and you just cruise in and pick up your bag ready to go. This is a place I see myself frequenting at least 1x per week. If you've not been, go. The food is amazing! read more

This place is a must. Think chipotle but Mediterranean, with the customer service of chic-fil-a. My coworkers have been raving about this place for months and I finally tried it last week. I've been back three times since then because the food is so delicious and more importantly, it's filling and there are big portions. I usually have two meals from my order and I eat a lot. I was impressed. We had 8 hungry family members to feed. Door dash got it all here in 30 minutes and everything was delicious. Would have given it more like 5 stars but the app was very difficult to use. I suspect I caught on now and it will be easier next time. Will definitely be worth a next time soon. read more

If you like mediterranean food, this place is a MUST in FoCo! I tried it a couple of years ago in LA and it was fantastic and now that they are here in FoCo I couldn't be happier!. As always, they have already their bowl suggestions and other dishes but you can make your own too. So delicious, fresh, healthy and customizable. So glad we found this place. It is wonderful to be able to get something healthy and green in the area. We loved the Greek bowl-salad bowl. So good with the veggies that included toasted Brussel sprouts and carrots,wonderful hummus and other sauce and dressing. It is going to be our go to place in FOCO. Cava replaced Zoe's Kitchen a few years back. My husband and I were huge fans of Zoe's. So when the change occurred we were definitely bummed. Finally getting around to trying Cava. It was good, but i our opinion doesn't compare to Zoe's. The menu is very simple. We definitely liked it; however, I can't say that we will be rushing back. read more

Outstanding! I got a rice bowl with hummus, chicken and meatballs and my husband got a pita with hummus, harissa and spicy meatballs. The meatballs are incredible. I tried the harissa honey chicken as a sample. I'm a wimp when it comes to spicy things, so it hit hard. But by the time we were at the register it had mellowed to a point where I may order it the next time. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
