This place goes above and beyond for customer service, the food is equally amazing. The price point for its competitors which I would assume is b good and sweetgreen cava takes the cake. Really dig the concept and the variety of fresh ingredients to choose from. More prominent labels on what each of the ingredients are would really help. Cava is great. I love the idea of eating fresh foods all prepared before your eyes. Customer service isn't the best, I don't think I got eye contact or any conversation in with anyone there. The food is a hit or miss. If you go in on a good day then the food is amazing. I get a grains and greens bowl, with arugula, lentils, falafel, tomatoes, beans, feta, tortilla crisps and Cava's homemade greek yogurt based siracha dressing. I was traveling and chose Cava for their healthy options. I found everything absolutely delicious and priced very fairly. Im not sure how they make their falafel but it wasn't the usual, dry ball of breadcrumbs you choke on. They had large pieces of veggies and lots of flavor. Was floored by the fresh vegetables and flavors available there. I had a rice bowl with meatballs. It's set up like a Chipotle-type experience, but with a mediterranean flare. I love CAVA, I come here a couple times a week for lunch and I always do the online ordering ahead so I can just pick it up. It's so easy and the food is delicious however the past couple times the falafel and roasted vegetables have been missing when it says on the ticket that I chose them to be in my bowl. A little disappointing since those are my favorite things to put in the grain bowl. read more

Great local place to get a terrific salad. Easy and fast way to get a more healthy meal and have started going here instead of our traditional Friday night pizza. Fresh greens and tons of choices for toppings which carry a Mediterranean flavor like the tzatziki dip or couscous - a couple of my favorite toppings. My niece lives Cava and after picking her up from gymnastics late one night we decided to go to Cava @ 9:30 pm. When we looked inside you could clearly see everyone was on task and well on their way to getting their closing procedures done and there was not a single person in the restaurant. As we walked in there was a young lady who clearly wanted to roll her eyes at us, say "we're closed", and lock the door, but, to the rescue (not even aware that she hadn't greeted us or that I could sense her disapproval of us being their) came Andre (I really hope I got his name right) with a big smile, welcoming demeanor, and infectious positive vibes. My niece new exactly what she wanted, but me on the other hand, this was my first time there. He happily and patiently walked me through the Cava way of doing things, and thanks to him I was no longer intimidated by the array of options. By the time I was done with my order, my niece was practically finished with hers, and it was now 5 mins before close. He was so sweet and offered her some more chicken (she's a gymnast who just completed 4hrs at the gym so she was starving) my nieces eyes lit up and she's was extremely grateful. She made sure to tell everyone about her special experience and every time Cava is mentioned looks at me and says, "auntie remember that time..... he was so nice!!!" Hats off to Andre for turning what was looking to be an awful experience in which I probably would have never came back, to and exceptional experience, tailored by his hard to come by customer service skills. read more

So the food is good, my problem is with the MALE staff members. Two In particular. Today I went in and behind me was a large group, who was kept waiting while I was harassed. The man helping me insisted I smile over and over again before he would continue putting together my bowl of food . I told him I was tired , I told him I smile all day at work and didn't want to smile anymore. He proceeded to ask me if I i would "pinky promise" to smile the remainder of our interaction in exchange for a free meal. I told him "no, I'm good. I will pay". When it was finally time to pay he accidentally gave the woman and her kid who were in front of me a free meal thinking it was mine. I continued to stand there and try to pay. Have you ever had amazing food that doesn't make you feel like shit after? Well if you haven't I highly recommend you trying out cava. For someone who's a picky eater I'll say at first it's overwhelming but the employees are patient and always willing to answer questions and recommend things for you. If you're ever at legacy and don't try cava you're not only doing yourself a disservice but our country a disservice. I'm downgrading my last review. While I love this restaurant and come here weekly, every time I've been here in the past three weeks, the employees are cleaning the buffet. While they're doing this they do not wait on anyone, making for a very long wait! Tonight several people got out of the line & left the restaurant. I asked one of the servers why they always clean the stations while people are waiting in line. One of the other servers said they were pre- cleaning. I said you should clean AFTER you close not while there's a long line! Also, they constantly slam the metal pans into the buffet station which is EXTREMELY loud and does not make for an enjoyable dining experience. They were out of the dressing I always get and one guy had to go in the back to make more. The food is excellent, but the place is very poorly run. It looks like only kids work here & they desperately need some adult supervision! If this place is going to survive here in Legacy where there are many restaurants to choose from, things need to change! read more

Decided to try Cava because of a coupon we got in the mail. It was worth the trip and a good value - but not worth 5 stars. Selection of greens-terrific! Grains disappointing. Basmati rice was definitely boring. Would have liked to have seen something like farro or wheatberries as an option. Spicy lamb meatballs were excellent but a bit small and a serving consisted of only 4. Got the tzatziki sauce. Didn't taste like a traditional yogurt base and got a big piece of cucumber peel. Usually my favorite sauce but this wasn't. Toppings were OK -especially real Kalamata olives - but really needed to be labeled so you knew what you were choosing from. While you can get as many as you want they "ladle" them on with a very small spoon. Then the dressing. Ordered Greek vinaigrette but it was your basic Italian dressing-none of the Greek oregano seasoning you expect. Wish I'd tried on of the more unusual flavors. While we weren't offered pita we did get the pita chips. I love black pepper and they still had a nice chew. I would definitely add those to your meal. Finished the meal off with a strawberry mint lemonade. The sweet level was good and the mint flavor wasn't overwhelming but overall it tasted watered down. I did not experience a helpful staff but they weren't rude-just busy. I will try them again but I'll make some changes in my choices. read more

We told her it was our first time there and she patiently explained every morsel of food that CaVa served. She described everything so well it was like we were tasting it. I've been to the one in Fenway because I work in the area but I was off and decided to try this one out this evening. And I'm happy I did! They are so on point here. I love the customer service. Everyone's very friendly. The young gentlemen that's running the place was helpful and was in a great mood! Which is a breath of fresh air considering other places around this time people get cranky.
