How do you run a healthy restaurant and only have 3 ingredients for everything in said restaurant not offering any type of concession to make up for not having everything to go in a salad or give more of what they do have? It's amazing to me that the concept of good business is still missed these days. I'd rather have a sale than no sale plus it would help with customer retention because it lets the customer know you value them. I know this might be one of a few healthy places to eat at around the area but I'd recommend skipping this place and opting for another. I love Cava but this location is horrible. They have all of these young people working there and they don't care what so ever. This location needs to be under new management. They are always running out of things. The past 3 times I've been there, they were out of all of the hummus, no pickled onions, no Greek vinaigrette, no pita chips etc.... It's not bad but definitely not better than Zoe's. Admittedly not all Zoe's locations are the same. However, there were food choices that I much rather prefer from Zoe's than Cava. Cava's leadership team should consider adding some of Zoe's menu items ie steak kabobs. read more

I've been a faithful Cava customer since they opened locations in Atlanta. This particular location however has always been a let down. They keep the area where the food is served filthy, the service is always slow and disappointing. The line will be all the way out the door, NOT because they're ever that busy but because the employees (all of whom appear to be children) lack any sense of urgency. No matter the day or time, they always seem to be out of SOMETHING, from dressings to pita chips, to salad mix. The only thing that's consistency is their inconsistency. A sad truth, because they could be so much better if they had quality management and systems in place to ensure excellency each and every time. It's pretty good, very well seasoned and every choice on the toppings and sauces make a huge difference to your overall experience, so a lot of combinations could be made for each time you go. Main base being rice or crunchy small lentils, choose of sausey protein option and then you can go crazy with the sause/yogurt. The food was yummy and it was quick to get it. Gyros are pretty good as well, in my opinion should be heated a bit before giving it. Interior design is missing decoration in general but who cares, you came there to eat. I give the food a good 7/10- Pretty good food to take on the go, enough for you to end up full and satisfied. They have their unique drink fountain which is either really good or really weird! This location does not deserve even 1 star. This was the first time to try Cava, and I was really looking forward to it until I got home. I ordered, online, a grain bowl with about 14 items. It was missing 8 of those items. I did not get hummus, crazy feta, tzatziki, Persian cucumber, fire roasted corn, crumbled feta, Greek vinaigrette, tahini Caesar dressing, and side of pita. I usually avoid adding bad reviews assuming people had an off night. This is the second time we've been here over a two year span. The first time was right after they opened (assumed they were just getting up to speed). And the second was just now we had the same issues: extremely slow and disorganized. They ran out of the green dressing. They ran out of feta cheese. We waited about ten minutes for pita chips because they lost track of who ordered them and different people gave ours away to others. My family and I come here almost every day, I love it so much! I get the bowl with the brown rice, 2 scoops of tzatziki, and 1 scoop of hummus! Their Spicy Chicken or Harrisa chicken is amazing! The regular chicken is wonderful too! The lemon tahini is a must-try! It's my favorite. Their drinks are also so good! I love that they have different kinds of hummus!Lastly, but not least their staff is amazing!!! I started coming here 1 week when they opened and I met Dee, Neesa, & Aubrey! Food is mediocre, the place was used to be Zoe kitchen. I like Zoe kitchen better than Cava. Super slow service although plenty of employees working at that time. I definitely not recommend this new restaurant as your favorite place to eat. Meatballs are cold and super hard not even moist. I can make meatballs way better than this place. This Mediterranean fast food restaurant was pretty good. I liked the different flavors and options it offered. I got the bowl with the spicy chicken and hummus with a couple different toppings. They were out of lamb meatballs when we went through the line but I asked if they could get us some and they brought it over. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is for the cleanliness behind the counter. The place was kinda messy and made me feel uneasy. This is not my first time visiting this restaurant. The food is usually good but my latest visit on Sunday May 7th was the most horrible service I've ever received in my entire life!!!!!!!!! I ordered my food online (for pickup), when I walked in 3 people who ordered online were waiting while everyone who walked in and stood in line, were getting their food on the spot. I, and others before and after me (who ordered pickup), were told they were short staffed but the expectation of when we'd received our food was never provided. Once I made it known to the extremely rude employee (African American female short blond hair with glasses - her name is Essence) that those of us who preordered need to know when we'll be assisted and given an expectation of when our food will be ready, she walked out on her fellow teammates (one being brand new). We've given this place way too many chances to redeem themselves. The employees act like you're a bother. Always out of stuff. The tea is always foamy... why? They literally locked us out of the building in the middle of the day at 4PM with a line of people at the counter I'm guessing the excuse is they're "understaffed" and wanted a shorter line that day? Who knows & don't care. That was the final straw & we haven't been back since. This Cava location needs a huge overhaul. From the service to the freshness of the ingredients to the cleanliness of the seating area, something needs to be done. I placed a mobile order for pickup on a Friday evening. I arrived prior to the time the app stated my order would be ready, so I walked in a took a seat at an empty table without prompting staff I was in for pickup. The table was filthy. As I looked around, I noticed all of the other tables were as well. Over the next 5-10 minutes, 5 other customers arrived all waiting for pick up orders. No one's order was actually ready. There was one employee working the food line and the register, completely overwhelmed, while it appeared that there were 5 employees at the back counter and behind the counter. Why is no one going to help upfront when there are that many customers? There were at least 10 people in line to order, and they were out of several ingredients. The whole experience honestly seemed like a case study out of a business class on how operations should not be. No agility as far as how to adjust for demand while there were adequate team members available to address it. If i had not already paid for a mobile order, I would've left. The actual food was also subpar. It was not fresh and totally soggy, and my pita was missing. Couldn't even eat more than 3 bites. Unfortunately, I will not be revisiting this location but hope things improve read more
