When the line extends to the door on a random Thursday night at 8:30pm, then you can almost guarantee it's worth it. I ordered the Greek Pita. It was packed with flavor and honestly the portion is enough to share but I'm way too greedy for that nonsense. I would suggest going on an empty stomach and be prepared to skip next meal as it's filling. Pricey but quality food tends to be. The ingredients are fresh and made to order in front of you and you can customize accordingly. They have a variety of teas and lemonade flavors that you should replace your soda with...just do it! They offer bowls and pitas with a Mediterranean twist. Healthy is on your side, unless you get crazy with the pita chips and dips. If you just want to get your tummy teased, you can opt for a kids meal too! It was a nice portion controlled option to try the menu. Had a great lunch today. I had the Sweet and Spicy Chicken Giro and my wife had a grilled chicken bowl. My giro was delicious. Just the right amount of heat to feel it in my mouth but not make my nose water. :-) they didn't have ranch for my wife's bowl but they had plenty of other sauces. The portion sizes were huge. First time trying this location. It didn't disappoint. So this place is located where Moe's Southwest uses to be. Here they sell Mediterranean plates. You can either go for a bowl or pita. I had the Chichen and Rightrice and my wife had the spicy chicken and avocado. She said it was spicy, at least the "dressing" they used made it spicy. My bowl tasted wonderful, and my wife said she enjoyed her pita very much. Definitely will come back for more. read more

For reference this is my second time going this week! It's that good. I had my dad try some of my bowl on Wednesday and come Saturday it was the lunch of choice. The byo bowl aspect appeals to me because I can mix it up till I find my perfect balance and it's perfect for dietary concerns because there is something for everyone which is perfect! The service is always fast and friendly you are in and out of you do take out. I don't think this location anticipated such a positive turn out because there is not nearly enough seating inside. I finally tried Cava today. I had a customizable bowl and while the portion sizes are smaller than your average Chipotle (not exactly a bad thing) the flavors were AMAZING!!! Heard about Cava and finally had a chance to try it. Place is fantastic. The flavors are really unparalleled in fast casual. The chicken is superb. I made my own bowl and got chicken and steak. Everything i put in my bowl was really outstanding. I could eat this everyday. Portions don't look huge, but i can eat a lot and i was full. Pickles, cucumbers, tortilla strips, feta, and then one of their sauces. I was in heaven. Fountain drinks are elevated above the norm. Service was friendly, and even with a large crowd, efficient. Cava is now my favorite fast casual restaurant out there. read more

The staff was rude, the amount of food wasn't the best, the dining room was dirty (tables/floor), no napkins forks or spoons. There were barely any drinks left in the drink dispensers. I heard about it so I decided to try it with co worker we just did some veggies and grilled chicken well let me tell you how we were trying to figure out what kind of chicken was being used because as we bite on it it was fat and it was some dark meat so we didn't eat but the veggies I was upset because I expect better and let me not forget how some of the workers seem upset because we didn't know what to order no labels on food so we had to continuously kept asking what's this what's that and they seem a bit bothered mind you it was our first time there and our last time too we won't be returning #Facts and last I had asked because a customer behind us said you can ask for pita it's free now not asking for the whole once at the register I asked n was told I needed to pay it wasn't FREE I left it alone didn't question now as we sitting inside I hear the guy at the register telling another customer pita is free but if you want to order more it's a charge at this point we gather our things and left and I will provide my picture of the meat that I couldn't eat my co worker always did the same once she got to her destination again as we bit into that grilled chicken it had fat on it...and the place was empty no one but two others eating inside We was very upset and again will not be returning...this meat was chewed on n thrown back in this thing where it was served..big sitting area n no one but 4 ppl I also forgot to mention that while waiting for the grill chicken the guy went and poured some fresh meat into where it sits and there was already some meat sitting prior and he just throw the fresh in without taking out the old that was sitting not did he try stirring together with the fresh ...that's a no no that's how ppl get sick and food poisoning...that's how I got f p once before nearing sitting for a while smh read more

Constant missing items. Spoke with Dalton over the phone who had no resolution except to laugh. Bowls were dry and food was cold.

They are over an hour behind on online orders. This is completely due to a poorly designed online ordering app. The people are doing their best but when an app that does not control order times, what are they to do? This is completely Cava Corporates fault. Poorly designed app screwing over people. There is no reason anyone should have to wait over an hour for an order they paid for. They know it's an issue as they don't allow you to cancel an order after it's been paid for. Not to mention everyone who is loosing and hour+ of paid waiting for their order they paid for. read more

The food is very tasty, however, my husband and I were very disappointed at the quantity. We ordered the Greens and Grains bowls with grilled chicken and the amount in the bowl was SIGNIFICANTLY reduced. There was a sprinkling of the mixed super greens, maybe a couple of tablespoons. All other ingredients were scarce too, except the black lentils. I guessed they were using them as a filler. The entire bowl was slightly more than half full (first picture on the left ). It was not worth the cost. Just 2 days go, I had the same bowl with the same ingredients from Cava in Peachtree City, GA located right outside of Atlanta. First, Cava is excellent and the food is amazing. The flavors, I can't explain how delicious they are. Very much on the pricey side - a typical 2024 "inflation" rip off. BUT...and this is a BIG BUT...this location in Brandon Florida is sooooooo dirty and there are flying insects flying around the food prep area and customer dining area. It's because the food prep area as well as the dining area is so dirty. It's sad because the food is so good, but not worth the hassle. read more

Food had so much flavor. Everything is customizable. I had the Greek Chicken pita & pita / hummus dip. The Greek dressing was flavorful but light. The pita chips had awesome seasoning that complimented the hummus. They have multiple flavors of tea that looked amazing. I'll definitely return and try them out next time. read more

Cava is one of my family's favorite places to go but this location could be so much better if they remedied a couple things. Firstly, every time we go the front class door looks so filthy and gross... And since it's the first impression it just gives the customer an unclean/grimy vibe upon entering. Next, although the workers seem pleasant enough, one young lady was skimping on the rice after I mentioned that I would PAY for double the rice. But I can imagine that management would put pressure on employees about those things to help their bottom line so I understand. But when the food price is pretty high-- and they're skimping on the amounts, it just feels like they are not really trying to give customers what they pay a premium for. The drinks are tasty but the plasticware is all over the place (and look like they've been touched), tables are often dirty, and everything could use a good wipe down. I really do love Cava and am so happy it's in my neighborhood but if the location feels gross and I feel I'm not getting what I'm paying extra for, I don't think I can continue to go. :( read more

I live Cava but this location is a sh$# hole. Management could care less and should be fired. I have been here three times and every time is the same. Absolutely disgustingly filthy dirty everywhere, can't bother to wipe off any of the tables, pick up trash, sweep, or mop the floors, the windows, glass and all surface areas, especially near the drinks, are disgusting. Homeless people are literally sleeping in the restaurant and management just walks by and does nothing. There is no way corporate or the franchise owner is not aware of this. They have all just mailed it in and could care less. Which means they're not following cleanliness inside the kitchen or proper food handling techniques either. I have been to the Brandon location a handful of times and each is worse than the last with respect to customer service, the condition of the store and what seems to be lack of staff or organization which results in long wait times. I last visited on 8/17/2024 at 3:00 p.m., most things were totally out, the line was dirty, drink station soaking wet, empty and a mess and the dining room a disaster. The worst was I was given absolute atrocious attitude by 2 crew members while going through the line. Sorry to say this will be my last visit to this location. read more
