This place is a 10/10! Compared to other cava experiences I have had this specific location is amazing. The workers are so friendly and fast especially one of the workings Lina. She helped me with my bowls and picking out all the amazing options. The restaurant area is clean and organized. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for some nice easy and affordable lunch!

Gotta love CAVA. It's my go to place next to UT campus. The portions are generous, the ingredients are good (although quality varies depending on their kitchen staff, like undercooked lentils), and the line goes at a good pace. I love the fact you get heaps of protein, so I decided that the best ratio for me is actually half chicken and half grilled veggies. The harissa and hummuses are great and usually flavorful enough for me to not need any additional condiments. Don't get me wrong, it's still campus food and the lines can be long, you can order online and skip the line. Will I be back? Of course.

That awkward moment when my bowl was so good (first timer) that I forgot to take a picture ^_^ The pita chips were also really good. I received excellent customer service, the lady who helped me gave me great recommendations but I ended up making my own bowl. I would ask what is "extra" before adding it to your bowl. This location is close to UT // Downtown so you may have to pay for parking. Overall, the ambience was chill and they had music playing in the background. Can't forget their natural juices // lemonades were so good!!!

Cava as a whole is a great chain. I appreciate how many vegetable options they have. The location specifically on Guad is hit or miss depending on who takes your order. Can be pretty stingy, especially with meat. In terms of meat, both chicken options taste great. Of course, the harissa chicken is a little more flavorful, but it does also cost extra. I've heard good things about the falafel as well (but keep in mind they only give around 3). Also, be sure to ask for a free pita!

Had a not great experience here. First, my portions were significantly less than my partners. I barely got any rice and the lamb meatballs were also dry. Also, every table here was extremely dirty and so were the bathrooms. The bathrooms are also not ADA friendly, there was an elderly man who we had to help open the bathroom door because it was so heavy.

I ordered around 7pm online for pickup and got a bowl with double meatballs. Instead of doing double protein or offering a substitute they proceeded to put this and some burn scraps hidden under all of the greens and grains. This doesn't even equate to one full portion, let alone two and it's extremely bitter and taste like grill scraps. I'm not one to complain online but since they won't answer the phone this is all I got. Thanks!

I have super bad eating habits and was presumptuous with Cava thinking it would lack flavor considering it was on my, "healthy food near me," google search. It was mighty delicious and packed with flavor. Fast, casual, and Mediterranean can't be beaten here. This location is on a relatively busy street but there is street parking, and parking garages nearby, usually you'd have to pay, so be on the lookout when you go out. It's a big location with a good amount of seating if you want to dine in. Restaurant looks and smells clean, and it had semi bright colored décor. If you like Mediterranean cuisine or want to venture into something new, I think this could be a good option. Especially if you're trying to have a healthier alternative to your common fast food.

In the last year CAVA has become my favorite place to eat at. I've had it many times at different locations but my favorite one is this one right on UT campus. They let you build your own grain bowl with a big selection of unique toppings. They have many different pickled vegetables that all taste amazing. I usually just load my bowl up with most toppings. They also have great meat options including juicy braised lamb that's halal and falafel for vegetarians. They also have a really good selection of sauces to put on top that add a lot of extra flavor. I will definitely continue to go to this CAVA location, I have yet to be disappointed! Tips: - The braised lamb is halal - They usually run out of random toppings and sauce so it's always better to go earlier - The garlic sauce is awesome and I would also recommend one of their spicy sauces (hot harissa and skhug)

Makes for a quick and easy lunch. We went in and there was about 8 people in front of us at about 1:30pm on a Sunday, but the line moves pretty quickly and we were easily helped within 15 minutes of getting in line. All staff was friendly and seemed to enjoy what they were doing and knew exactly what to do. The price point seems a little high. It easily could be a few dollars less, especially around campus. But it was convenient to not have to make myself. They have many options for you to mix and match items or even create your own bowl. All the options on the food bar looked amazingly fresh and delicious. Nothing really interesting or out of the ordinary on the menu though. The quality of the items they have and the seasoning of them are A+ . They didn't have regular hummus for this bowl this day but we subbed for red pepper hummus and I think it worked really well and gave it an extra flavor. Their outside seating area is a little sad in comparison next to the open area by KO and Lucky Lab and the women's movement clothing store so we sat in that area instead of their designated back patio area. I think the bowls are pretty shareable sizes unless you're really hungry. My husband and I easily shared one yummy Harissa Bowl and felt like we had enough for a brief lunch. The real star of the show was definitely the Cucumber Mint drink! So good! They had a few other options of fresh drinks like a lemonade and a berry mix as well to choose from.

But by the time my friend arrived about 1:10 the line had disappeared and the crowd was quickly thinning out. I had the farmhouse club and my friend went with a salad (I forget which one). My sandwich was absolutely delicious and I cleaned it up. His salad was enormous and he couldn't finish it. He had enough leftover to take home for another meal. Neither came with a side but they are available for purchase. The restaurant is bright and cheerful inside with plenty of seating. And the staff are very friendly and eager to assist throughout the meal. The only downside is their prices being a little high for the type of setting so one star off. I will probably return anyway for the delicious sandwich. But I wish it came with chips!

I've been for both lunch and dinner, and lunch is clearly the peak time, which makes sense given the sandwich, salad, and soup menu. It feels built for the midday lunch crowd. The kitchen runs very efficiently, the line moves quickly, and online ordering is very easy. It's counter service, but I've taken meals to go a few times and everything traveled well. As of February 2026, it still has that brand new restaurant feel. The interior is bright, clean, and modern, and there's a ton of outdoor seating. However, you are just off 38th Street and across from the Seton medical complex, so al fresco dining may not be the quietest experience depending on traffic and time of day. Overall, a great addition to the area for lunch (or dinner).

Oh my sweet, sweet Sweetgreen…read more I've always loved their salads and have recently become obsessed with their wraps. Their caesar salad wrap to be specific. Everytime I order from a Sweetgreen the veggies are fresh and the portion size vs. the price is fair. I can usually get two meals out of one order. I want to give major kudos to this location specifically because I accidentally left my wallet while visiting on a Saturday afternoon. After not being able to find my wallet thinking it was in my house somewhere I decided to stop by the Union Market Sweetgreen location to check on Monday. After about 5 minutes of waiting the manager came over to bring me my wallet. Yay! All of my belongings were still in it. I'm grateful for them holding onto my items. I look forward to visiting this location more often especially because they have a lot of seating. And side note, be sure to download their apps. I put in a to-go order for a kibbeh wrap; the price seemed typically high for the area, but when I got my order its quite a sizable wrap so all-in-all a pretty good deal! The food did take about 20 minutes to come out- I wasn't going to complain as there was a line of people the whole time so I could tell it was busy, but when I did get my food they apologized for the wait and gave me some free baklava so even if there had been hard feelings that would have 100% fixed it lol I'm a huge baklava fan and had actually been considering adding some onto my order but didn't because of the long line! So service was great, but most importantly- the food! The kibbe wrap was huge; I managed to finish the whole thing but in two different sittings lol. The kibbe was generous, and the pieces were flavorful and juicy. The veggies were fresh and crisp, and the whole thing was lightly sauced but the flavor of the kibbe popped enough that I didn't think it needed more sauce. Delicious and I would 100% order again. Plus the (free!) baklava was top notch! Sometimes you get the ones where the filo dough is a little tough/chewy and it still tastes great but the texture isn't there- not with this baklava! It was tender, delicious, and a perfect end to the meal. Parking was limited on the street but I believe the Triangle has garages also- I was able to snag a short term parking spot for MezzeMe which is actually why I originally decided to check it out!

The pita was soft, fresh, and delicious, and the hummus was creamy with great flavor. We also tried the Truffle Feta Fries, which were just okay--I was hoping they'd be crispier with a stronger truffle flavor. For our mains, we ordered the Forever Falafel, Lahmacun, Falafel Pita Pocket, and Chicken Shish Kebap Pita Pocket. The fillings were flavorful, and the portion sizes were generous. The only downside was that the pita pockets were served cold and felt a little dry. I'd recommend ordering the Forever Falafel and enjoying it with the complimentary warm pita instead. We finished with the pistachio baklava and honey cake, and both desserts were delicious. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back to try more dishes.
