Good value and tasty. I got the Kid's Meal and it's just nice for me. I didn't know what to choose, so I asked the guy to put whatever most popular ingredients in my bowl. I got the Carrot Ginger Lemonade, it tasted a bit weird but still ok. Reagan Airport has free wifi. P/S: Purple cabbage salad is good. read more

This place us amazing! My wife and I had the lentil-avocado bowl. It was absolutely the best fast food we have ever had! Highly recommend! read more

Do you know how good an airport grab-and-go place needs to be for me to sit down at my gate and write a review right then and there? Yeah. It's gotta be THAT good. See, I'm a vegetarian who flies often, so I'm used to my airport options being limited to those weird hummus cups with the stale pretzel thins and 18 dollar iceberg salads. So I guess my expectations are super low. But even still, Cava really impressed me. It's basically a build-your-own grain bowl joint. Yawn, right? Except these ingredients are really fresh, and actually have FLAVOR. The crazy feta and harissa dips were super good, as were the roasted vegetables and add-ons like pickled radishes. And I got out for less than 15 bucks. I've paid more for a bagel at the airport. Basically what I'm saying is this place is the sine qua non of airport food. Shine on, Cava, shine on. read more

EVERY LOCATION IS AMAZING!! The flavors are so good! Super affordable and house made juices and teas omg! I always get a Arnold Palmer with jasmine tea and beet lemonade. Braised lamb is so seasoned and tender, chicken is always juicy and seasoned, meatballs are great too! I only like the falafel if it's fresh out of the fryer because it tends to be dry if been sitting but anywho this place I crave and they need one in Atlanta! read more

I am so glad that I ran into this on my way back to the west coast! My friend told me that I needed to try this place but just didn't have the time while running around DC. What a convenient airport location! It was early in the morning, so they were only serving breakfast bowls. But it's practically the same as a regular bowl - just with eggs. Pick your base (yum rice) and then go for the 3 toppings! Don't let them cheat you out of the toppings - they won't tell you to pick 3. It was super tasty! Hot sauce is very spicy (maybe get it on the side if you're unsure). We'll be back for you, Cava! read more

The breakfast egg bowl is sad and weird. I'm not sure if I'm eating eggs or rubber? Tastes a little like soap. I usually love cava but am hoping to save you $$$ and skip the egg bowl. read more

CAVA - Egg bowl seemed like it had so much promise - Salad Near Me - Arlington, Virginia

Bomb.com every time. No long review needed. Go here and enjoy everything. The bowls, the pitas, the hummus and dips. All excellent.

So after I had the opportunity to try the Asian version for Chipotle, it's about time to try the Mediterranean version :) So I had about an hour to wait before the boarding, and I felt like eating something.. there were not too many attractive options in the terminal I've been, and Cava Grill seemed like the most promising one. I had to wait in line, because apparently many people felt the same. The line issue was OK, the annoying part of that was that the employees wanted me to choose what to put in the bowl, when I'm at the beginning of the line, without even seeing how the different options look like... I asked them to wait until I get closer. Eventually, I took the green-grain bowl, with both falafel and vegetables. The dips I took were Hummus, eggplant and feta, and I mixed it all with different toppings. I really really liked it. It was very tasty and the price was pretty fair (especially for airport... about $10) Will definitely try the Cava Grill option again. read more

Think Chipotle but Mediterranean food for choices, and much more options! I really enjoyed mine or maybe it was because I was starving. My only downside was that the little scoop of hummus was tiny. I went back for the hummus and chips. read more

I normally love CAVA but I will not be returning to this location. Although the service was friendly my lentils I got were burnt and in turn ruined my entire meal. I did not say anything however because I had a flight to catch. I also did not get enough dressing and my meatballs were way over cooked. I was so excited to see a CAVA in the airport because I travel all the time but this location needs to step it up. read more

Cava was soooo good! Fresh, non-greasy, tasty food. Very simple, yet something I would definitely get again. Pretty good selection of base salads as well as proteins and their lemonades are very delicious with no sugary taste read more

I am shocked to say that perhaps the best meal of my trip came at the airport. Seriously, CAVA is that good. Don't even think of going somewhere else. The ingredients are fresh and full of flavor - and the chipotle style approach is perfect for Mediterranean food. Load up of sauces, veggies, and the delicious proteins. The most memorable part of the meal was the pita chips. They are freshly fried and given the garlic bread treatment - paired with fresh made hummus. Doesn't get much better than that! read more

Really awesome airport eats! I was bummed to be in terminal B, since A is where the good food is at. I'm looking at you Five Guys and &pizza. But Cava really redeemed this terminal for me! Really tasty and not super heavy Mediterranean food bowls. You can pick pita, grain, salad, or a mixed bowl to start. Then you walk down the case selecting a variety of tasty toppings and additions to your bowl. They have a great variety of meat toppings, falafel, and roasted seasonal vegetables. I went with the roasted vegetables and it did not disappoint! Service was friendly and efficient. Perfect spot to grab something healthy and quick before you board your plane. read more

I have had the misfortunate to spend several hours per year in the B terminal at Reagan National, which was a barren wasteland of absolutely terrible food options until now. Cava Grill is not only outstandingly good for an airport meal, it's a great meal anywhere. There are a lot of choices (green bowl, grain bowl or combo), an impressive array of spreads, toppings and proteins. Ordering process is clear and gives choices to make your bowl the meal you want. I had a grain bowl with brown rice, eggplant, hummus, chicken and a lot of toppings. Everything tasted very tasty and fresh, comes in a handy takeaway bowl (well suited for eating at the terminal or bringing on your flight), on the right side of being healthy and filling and all for a good price ($8 for my bowl as I recall). On top of all that the servers were more friendly and hospitable than usual at the airport. I'd eat this anywhere, and it has completely changed my attitude toward killing time at Terminal B. Well done. read more

Just had my best airport lunch ever. Cava offers choice - and almost all of it is healthy. Select a pre-mixed super salad or select your individuals greens or go for a wrap. Add rice or lentils or don't. Choose a protein- chicken, beef, falafel, etc. All delicious. Add three spreads - humus, feta, etc. Then add more - cucumber salad, pickled onions, beets, pita chips, olives - the list goes on. Finally, consider a salad dressing to top it off. A smorgasbord of flavors and textures all got $10.30. I could do this every day. read more

Wow. Just wow. Another healthy allergen friendly establishment. First off, no butter- yes they use olive oil!! It's like chipotle but Mediterranean based healthy... fresh hot chicken, black lentils, hummus and cauliflower quinoa was my favorite... plenty of dairy free options as well... obviously avoid cream based tzatziki sauce if you have dairy concerns such as myself. read more

I wasn't familiar with this place but it was the most attractive and fresh looking in the terminal. The line was slowed horrendously by an overly verbal and obsessive woman who just couldn't handle all the choices. Choices are what makes this place unique: there are 6 different steps to add things and several choices per step, like Chipotle on crack. Mediterranean food, the final product was spicy and filling, the mix of 15 different things guaranteed that it was unique! The meat portions were on the modest side (4 smaller meatballs) but the other ingredients are extensive. If you get alcohol you have to sit at the table with red chairs nearby! read more

This is a stand out as far as dining options in the airport. Healthy, large portions, inexpensive, what more can you ask for?! I always get the half and half bowl, half super greens and half brown rice. I was surprised that the quality was as good as all of their other locations in addition the employees were extremely nice and helpful. As far as I'm concerned this is the only meal that you need in the airport. The portions are huge for the price you pay and it got me feeling good through my whole day. Also for anyone who doesn't know what cava is, think chipotle for Mediterranean food. I actually think the quality may be a step up from chipotle. There are vegan options and gluten free so the needs of your specialty diet will be satisfied. read more

Food and service are great. The only detractor is the ignorant customers who take forever to choose among the options. Just pick something people. We ain't got time to wait (it's an airport) read more

Glad to find a Cava in the airport for dinner. Plenty of nutritional options here. The falafel seemed a bit mushy this time but overall I enjoyed my bowl. I will certainly go back next time I am in the airport and need to eat. read more

Wow an airport place to eat being rated 4 stars so my expectations were high because this high of a rating at an Airport is rare. Style is similar to chipotle but Mediterranean style. Pick your rice, add lentils, any three of the Mediterranean dips/sauces, a protein and a whole bunch of toppings, you can pick all eight toppings if you want, it's a mix of mainly the various Mediterranean salads. I had the falafel and it was the most horrible falafel I ever had, hard and tasted like leftover from last week, the hummus was not that tasty, not consistent and didn't taste fresh. read more

I usually love Cava - but was very disappointed by this one. The server was very rude, not helpful, impatient & had no manners. Whoever trained her did a bad job. Whatever happened to common courtesy as part of basic customer service? A smile, good manners, being helpful & taking time to answer customers questions should be minimum requirements for customer service. Hope this Cava improves how their service. Their only saving grace is the food is good! read more

The Mediterranean version of Chipotle. We need something like this in LA! I got to try the shredded beef and the falafel for the protein. The shredded beef was scrumptious! The falafel was good but not crispy at all. As for the sides and sauces, I don't even remember what I put. There were so many choices, I just had them toss in everything that sounded good to me! EDIT: I was just informed by Cava (impressed!) that they actually have 2 LA locations. One in Westwood and one in Topanga. I work near Westwood so yay for me! read more

For those not from the DC area, Cava originated in a DC suburb called Rockville, MD and is a huge hit around here! I encourage out-of-towners to give it a try! Think of it as a Mediterranean version of Chipotle. The lamb meatballs are my favorite but can be a little heavy so today I got chicken. They also have beer and wine here. The assembly line process can be a little daunting so don't be a afraid to ask questions. There are long tables with outlets to sit at next to Cava but you have to share with others. read more

Braised lamb on top of a customized salad, YES PLEASE! Several salad base options to choose from, several proteins and lots of toppings! A great airport find!! read more

I've always loved me some cava - yes, since their very first store that they had in the burbs of Rockville, which we frequented weekly for the lamb shanks and saganaki. While the cava grills are a pared down version of the full service cava mezze restaurants, they do not skimp on the flavor and deliciousness of the cava restaurants. I was plenty surprised to happen upon a cava grill at my United gate, and was sold once I saw that they offered breakfast options! The bowls are customize-able like they are for lunch, but the only difference being that the protein portions are halved to make room for the eggs. I made mine extra spicy as I usually do with extra harissa, and sriracha mayo, and happily went about with my day. .. Well, as happy as one can be when boarding a 6 am flight. :) Be sure to stop in to this spot if you find yourself in the United terminal at DCA! read more

I love CAVA but sometimes the quality can be unpredictable and also, depending on who is working the line, u can get a good portion of food or a sad one. flavors typically on point tho. read more

I want to give this place 3.5 stars because it really is not a 4 star treatment , but when you are comparing this to other options at DCA Airport, this is a better option based on flavor and healthiness. FOOD: 4.5 SERVICE: 2 VALUE: 5 AMBIANCE: N/A OVERALL: 3.5 BONUS: Uses environmentally-friendly ware. At Terminal B, your options are Grille District, Starbucks, and "Grab & Go" at other Terminals of the airport, I'm sure you have options like Ben's Chili Bowl, donuts, restaurants, and standard diner fare. I have been a fan of Cava ever since I went to its first "real restaurant" location in Eastern Market. Some of their Cava Express locations are not as delicious or as friendly. Seeing them at the airport, I knew I would opt for this for breakfast over the other less healthy options. I was pleased with the food, though not quite with the customer service. I chose a protein bowl for breakfast. You choose 1 of: rice, black lentils, potatoes. Then you can add egg, and proteins (choice of spicy lamb meatball, chicken sausage, beef meatball, or falafel). Finally, any number of toppings (tomato/cucumber, onions, carrot/raisin, olives, cucumber, pickled radish, mint) and sauce (harissa, tzatziki, lemon tahini, srirachi tzatziki) I topped it with mint, and loved it! This breakfast option is quite healthy, colorful, and filling. They also use COMPOSTABLE cups and offer utensils that have been made from recycled plastic. The bowls are half recycled (compostable) brand cardboard, and half plastic (unsure). I investigated: from Sabert's website: Molded Fiber Pulp - "These products are made of a sugar cane manufacturing byproduct, known as Bagasse. This is a renewable material that is increasing annually, and is certified BPI compostable*** To learn more about BPI, please visit www.bpiworld.com." I think the balance of flavors is good, as well as the wide variety of toppings and fresh ingredients However I would recommend a few improvements: make the food with LESS Salt, and have friendlier, more knowledgable, employees. It baffled my mind that they didn't greet us with kindness, and they didn't bother to tell us what was unavailable. From the breakfast menu, half the items were unavailable, which people just leaving after waiting in line for 5-8 minutes. They didn't have yogurt bowls, or fruit cups. That's a pretty standard necessity to offer if you are open for breakfast at an airport and it is 8 am (they open at 7 am and serve until 10 am). Anyway, like I said I would give it 3.5 stars as a 5-star review in my book is something that truly impressed me. Enjoy! And try it for breakfast! read more

All of the yums!!! Great heathy option. Make sure you get the crazy feta! Back when humans didn't realize they could put wheels on suitcases they had to eat sad pizza and hotdogs at the airport. Positive: The food was good considering the limited options within the terminal. Negative. Pricey for what you get, but that's expected for airport food. Customer service should be improved. The workers on the line were very distracted and inattentive, chatting with one another. For example, the cashier just stuck out her hand for my card without telling me the total cost or even looking at me. She only looked at me when I didn't hand her the card and waited for her to finish chatting. read more

This is a very interesting place for breakfast. I ordered the breakfast bowl. Blanca started my order and I asked her for rice and potatoes, but she didn't hear me I suppose because she didn't put any potatoes in my bowl. The next lady helped me and she put the potatoes in for me and also the other items I requested. They weren't especially friendly, but they weren't rude. I can't even describe the breakfast fiasco, the portion size??? Ridiculous, the not very nice staff was pretty much counting how many potatoes edges she was putting on my bowl, if you decided to serve breakfast, cook enough food for it, and do not penalize your customers serving a tiny portion and charging 10 bucks for it, it's not honest.
