Melvin took care of us as well as being very polite. The food was hot and seasoned well. We always get ours to go but, one day we plan to sit in and eat. The atmosphere is nice. Did I say that Melvin made us feel welcome!

Over the years, it seems like the service and food have gotten a bit worse. I'm just not that into this place. I tried the chicken and rice bowl this time There is too much going on in one bowl. The hummus is enough with the feta. I don't need a gallon of dressing over the already flavored chicken and pickled onions to saturate it. It's too many flavors. The place is clean and fine but not overly welcoming.

I've always loved this Cava. This one has been the closest to my home for a few years now. It's always really clean and the staff is always really nice. I like the flavors and the line is never long when I come. Def recommend for a quick healthy meal.

My family and friends have been raving about Cava Restaurant, especially this location, so I was excited to try Cava for the first time. I had heard about the "love button" and how my meal would be free since it was my first visit. When I informed the cashier, Carlos, about the love button, he rudely refused to honor it. He stated that he gets to decide when to use it and chose not to use it for me. I was upset and discouraged by this experience; his demeanor and customer service were poor, ruining my first visit. Such behavior should not be accepted by Cava, as no matter the outcome, he shouldn't have been rude.

First, i want to share that i loooooove Cava! This location is wonderful and Angels service is amazing!!! I took my sister here for the first time and she feels in love! We will be back!

I had a pleasant experience at the location in Alexandria. I do love those scrumptious pita chips. They make them like no other. I may go back a time or two before heading back home. That Jasmine tea was an interesting, acquired taste.

My first time trying this place. It was quite tasty and light. I enjoyed the spicy hummus in my bowl. The chicken didn't have that much flavor but the hummus and roasted eggplant helped to offset the flavor. I topped with vinaigrette dressing and feta cheese. They had quite a selection for picking drinks. Citrus or mint lemon water along with sodas. I would definitely visit again.

12/11/21 In my creative mind, I had meantioned not going to to HomeGoods when you are hungry. Well we learned the hard way and now find ourselves in Cava. This restaurant was busy with a lot of people. This place really does remind me of Chipotle. Ironically there is a Chipotle three doors down...okay maybe a little farther. Still, I thought about these two stores being g right next door to each other. I wondered how business would be? I wasn't familiar with Cava, but the brown rice, Cava's little black beans and non-stick chicken looked tasty in a bowl. I went with the white sauce and feta cheese for the final touches. Since the rice, beans and chicken were hot, the feta cheese melted and was terrific in every bite. However, we did not like that Cave had no spoons or knives. This could have come in hand for the type of burrito my wife ordered. The sauce was dripping and she did not want that sauce dripping on her. I ended up getting a knife from Five Guys and the problem was taken care of. This place isn't slow, and I saw heavy traffic in the two unisex bathrooms. Women and women were doing their duty in there, so like the character in the book The Whipping Boy, Hold Your Nose Billy/Billie. This place is worth coming back to no matter how busy it gets. I did notice; however, the associates were getting very stingy on the portion sizes. It reminds me how Chipotle was and how they changed. I get the cost of doing business and the cost of products going up. However, if I am now paying 16.XX for food, I don't want spoonful sugar to help the medicine go down. Giving less while spending more is unacceptable.

A fantastic sandwich location. I love a good sandwich!…read more I was able to place an order for pick up just before I got on the train to head back. Brilliant! I will definitely for this again on my next trip. I ordered a BLT on multigrain, and a PBJ w/honey drizzle on sourdough. The PBJ is off the kids menu. I'll ask for extra peanut butter and jelly so it's to my liking. I couldn't tell if there was honey on it, it could have been. The BLT was fantastic. I loved that it was not oiled high with all the ingredients. A simple sandwich. It fit the bill and didn't over fill me. A true classic. The multi grain bread was the best! I need to find out where that is from. It was that good. I hope I'm able to try the tuna fish and the egg salad sandwiches sometime they look delish! The staff were quiet, but got the job done. There is a small bar like area to eat in, and outdoor tables in a covered area to enjoy your sandwich.

Great little sandwich shop!…read more It's very popular at noontime. I took a break from my 4 hour long painting class upstairs in the Torpedo Factory to snag a bite. My timing was good, because I arrived right before a work group of maybe 10 people or so came into place their orders. In addition to a substantive sandwich menu, which includes both hot and cold sandwiches, there's plenty of beverage (including wine) and snack selections. Wearing an oil paint-smudged apron (FYI: the reality is that you're still going to get paint on your clothes even wearing an apron), I aptly ordered the Torpedo Artist. The Torpedo Artist is a hot Panini-like sandwich. You can select your type of meat, cheese and toppings. By default it includes lettuce, sweet peppers and deli oil. My sandwich was well-crafted with plenty of turkey and Swiss cheese. However, I didn't especially like this sandwich. I wish I had asked them to hold the deli oil because it was overly pungent with oregano. All I could taste in my sandwich was oregano. But older and wiser now, I know in the future that if I have them hold the deli oil, I'll end up with a great and tasty sandwich.

We all were so full by the end of our meal but wish we didn't so we could have more. You can tell everything is made in house with so many veggie toppings which I love!! You can get as much toppings as you want, either into a wrap, bowl, or salad. 10/10 recommend!! We also tried the cookies. I've eaten at plenty of delis over the years, but Eddie's Little Shop completely surprised me with flavors I've genuinely never tasted before. The sandwiches here are incredibly unique, creative combinations that just explode with flavor in ways I wasn't expecting. What really stood out were the huge, fresh chunks of real mozzarella, paired with their homemade-style dressings, sauces, and condiments. It's easily one of the best sandwiches I've ever had, and I've tried a lot. The portions are generous, the bread is spot-on. I'll definitely be back before my trip ends. If you're in Arlington, do not miss Eddie's Little Shop Deli. Highly, highly recommended!

Saturday, midafternoon, I stop by for an Eddie Mootz ($17) (salami, ham, sopressata, mozzarella, on seeded italian). I'm handed this brown paper bag that weighs, I dunno, 3 lbs? I have to carry this back with me to the Metro. Twice along the way, I have to stop and catch my breath. I get home, my kitchen counter sags a bit where I put the bag down. Cripes, Eddie's. And the sandwich itself? 2 meals, easily. Thick thick piles of meat and a shovel-full of mozzarella. Very chewy bread. I work up a sweat just eating this, there's so much labor involved. I ordered online from the Metro, around the DCA stop, and got a notification it was ready before I got to the King Street stop. Fast turnaround. Eddie's is now on my list of places to make a point of going to for sandwiches in the DMV. Really good sandwich, and a lot of it.

Service was excellent our waiter was very attentive and our food items came out in an expedited manner. Their menu features apps like cast iron meatballs, garlic knots, and eggplant parm, several different salad options, 6 different sub options, and of course a plethora of red and white sauce pizza options (by the slice or whole pies) with plenty of add-ons regarding toppings and glazes. The wine menu is also pretty expansive with some very nice selections. I ended up ordering the chicken caesar sub ($18) and the vanilla bean brûlée cheesecake ($9). The chicken sub was delicious the flavor of the bread and the Caesar dressing that came with it were the highlights, fresh toppings, my only complaint would have been a bit more chicken added to the sandwich. The cheesecake was exceptional as well despite being a bit heavy on the cream topping but that was probably more for presentation purposes. Overall a positive lunch experience, I'll definitely be returning to try out a few of their pizza options.
