This spot is okay for a late night bite, but I wouldn't recommend it for chicken if you're expecting something similar to Nando's. When you order the chicken, you can choose the level of spiciness you can want, but it's not a big deal since the chicken isn't prepared in the sauce, it's given to you in dipping packets. I found the chicken itself to be dry, so I wouldn't suggest it to anyone, but their menu is so extensive (I think 2-3 different restaurants operate out of the same building) that I wouldn't rule out coming back to try something else especially if it's late at night. Always a good sign when the person ahead of you is such a regular they eat here several times a week! I am in town from out of state and not familiar with this restaurant. Decided to try the peri chicken strip salad. The server at the counter was super friendly and helpful when I needed to decide what seasoning I wanted on my chicken. And she offered to put the salad dressing on the side since I am taking my order to go. I sat at. A booth while I waited and the furniture was pretty comfy. I was blown away by my salad. There were probably 5 chicken strips (grilled chicken breast tenders) covering the entire top of the salad. The marinade (lemon and herbs) created enough of a sauce that I didn't need dressing. Staying at nearby hotel and inspired by the Yelp reviews, last night I came here and ordered the Mini Platter ($17.99), which comes with a quarter chicken, two chicken strips and two wings. For the side, I got fries. The Platter also comes with a choice of bottled or fountain drink. Great deal. I was impressed. I got the quarter chicken with mild sauce, the wings with hot sauce and the strips with lemon and herb sauce. Everything was very good. The chicken (I got a huge piece of white meat chicken) was moist and flavorful. The strips were also huge. And the lemon/herb sauce a nice complement to the juicy chicken meat. The wings were a nice size and were, in fact, hot. But not crazy hot. My server also brought me two cups of sauce - one "signature" and one garlic and pepper. The signature sauce was excellent; I thought the other was fine, but not my favorite. The fries were large, crunchy on the outside and meaty on the inside. Again, a huge portion. I will start off with one thing: I DO NOT believe in giving bad reviews unless they are truly deserved. Today was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. I chose the spiciest sauce which tasted like somebody spilled the salt shaker then spilled a bottle of vinegar on the beef/lamb gyro I ordered. It was not even spicy. This conveniently located near our hotel, so we stopped here to get dinner to go. They have many things on the menu. I tried the chicken pita. The food only took less than 10 minutes. The pita was filled with ingredients. Great value for a $10 item. I loved it because their chicken has subtle lime flavor. Never had anything like this before. Although I chose "mild" it was still spicy for me. But it was still so delicious. I bet other items on the menu are also great. If I could give this location, 100 stars I would. The food is spectacular. The Smashburger deserves a round of applause. It was so flavorful and the inclusion of the turkey bacon, onion rings, fresh lettuce, and tomato, and cheese just created a memorable experience. I definitely recommend the Oreo milkshake and the lemon and herb grilled chicken. It's like they marinate their chicken for days. It is so flavorful. The fried chicken sandwich was colossal. Came here and really enjoyed the food. They have a huge menu and some times I worry at places with huge menus but this place did a really good job with all the food. I had the flame broiled chicken with mango lime sauce and really liked it. The chicken was well marinated and tasty. Everyone else got a steak and the steak was pretty awesome also. Instead of being sliced, it was in more of a chopped form and the temperature was weird. The main issue though, was the chicken wrap. The portion was huge- it was much larger than expected, so that was good; however, it was very watery/soupey/runny. The taste was just okay, but tasted better with the side of dressing/ranch-like dip. I only ate part of it and it was way too runny to keep for later. The main problem came later when the food gave me a terrible bout of food poisoning for 24+ hours (which I haven't had since middle school). I was visiting the area with my father and we stayed across the street at the Hilton. Thankfully we had this place to eat. We ordered the quarter chicken and fries the 1st night and the food didn't disappoint. We came back the 2nd day and were greeted by the owner.
