CONS: None! THE VERDICT: Everything about this place was wonderful, from the way it's set away from the hubbub of the street, to the stunning view of the Loch Ness, and the delicious food. The food here is realllly good, too. I can't remember exactly what I got, but it included some Jasmine rice, naan, and a warm, tomato and chicken entree in a delicious, almost scaldingly hot broth. It was absolutely perfect, especially with the chilling temperatures and the wind bringing the chill factor down a bit more. You get almost a 180 unimpeded view (or almost unimpeded) of the lake, too, which really makes eating here a 5 star experience. We had a leisurely, peaceful experience eating deliciously hot food, sipping wonderfully chilled beer, and just having the fortune of each other's company. I was here in July of 2017, and I STILL remember this place fondly.

We should have pointed you towards MacGregor's as having the most delicious sticky toffee pudding, now verified after having several others that did not perfectly balance sweet with salt as that of the sticky toffee pudding at MacGregor's. If the pub is full, please find your way to the end of the bar and the small door to the left that takes you to the cosy table service room where Jess and other wait staff, including little Nala, will take the best care of you.
