The burger itself to me with the blue cheese did not need additional sauce. I ordered mine medium, which was fine. I almost wish i said medium rare. The baked potato was good. i tried some of the okra and that was tasty too. We were orig told it would be about a 30 min wait. Which didnt take but 15-20 to be seated. It's ok at best. Most meals I have had in this area are fair at best. Not a fan. This place is better than most around town, and it's about 20 minutes outside Tuscaloosa. The dynamic duo that served us could not have been any nicer or more helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Portions are ridiculously large. Prices are insanely low for the quality and amount you get. I had the meatloaf special with mashed potatoes and jalapeño cornbread. I opted for the salad for C to eat. She got the pulled pork with beans and onion rings. This is a complete 180 from the norm. The plates are normally reversed. I thought that this was funny when she mentioned it to me. Now moving him in for his senior year, we finally made it! This small, old school, restaurant serving breakfast and lunch is right across the street from the football stadium. The walls are lined with memorabilia from the team over the years and it's pretty amazing! This felt like the perfect spot to order a cheeseburger and onion rings and they were delicious!
