We were not very hungry so when my husband saw they offered fried peach pies and ice cream, he opted to eat dessert for dinner. A gentleman came out from the kitchen and told us he had just pulled a peach cobbler from the oven and he thought we might enjoy that more than the fried pie. We were so glad he offered it and it was excellent! I ordered a grilled cheese plus some sweet potato fries Both were quite good. All that for $11! What a bargain! BTW--our stop for lunch earlier in the day was at an Arby's. We got 4 small slider sandwiches, an order of fries and 2 cups of ice water.; that cost $17+ since they charged $4+ for the water No charge for cups of water at the Cardinal Drive In! Always looking for a bargain these days so Cardinal Drive In was a wonderful choice.

Really can't go wrong with food here, made fresh, have never had an issue. If you come on a day they have the peanut butter cake slices out, get one or more! So good!
