    cuddly kitty

I saw this place on Tik Tok and it was definitely worth the visit! I went here with a friend and we both had a great experience. The decor is not only beautiful but functional with many places for the cats to eat, play, and rest. It is very relaxing to be in this space. The cats are so cuddly and sweet. They seem very happy! Staff were also friendly :) Would definitely love to come here again

Cats & Crystals is such a special place. This is where we met our sweet Silver, who was fostered through Fairy Tail Rescue and staying at this cat café. The space is incredibly clean, calm, and thoughtfully set up, you can tell how much they truly care about the cats. The staff made us feel so welcomed and comfortable from the moment we walked in. They were kind, patient, and happy to answer all our questions. The café itself is beautifully decorated and full of charm, and they also sell the cutest cat items and goodies. When we adopted our cat, they even surprised us with a goodie bag, which was such a thoughtful touch. If you're looking to meet adoptable cats in a cozy, loving environment, this place is a must. So grateful for Cats & Crystals and their partnership with Fairy Tail Rescue.

Amazing business! I went here with my girlfriend and it was so fun and cute! Such a great set up with cute interior design, friendly workers, adorable kitties, and GREAT prices!! 10/10 experience, I have no complaints! Definitely come here if you're ever in the area!

Super cute and cozy setup, I recommend the first morning slot for the best energy from the cats. The staff is very comprehensive with a complete review of rules, advice, and info on applying if you want to adopt a cat. We opted for the 70 min session, I think it's worth the extra 5$. The cats are VERY happy, you can tell they are well taken care of, chill and not stressed. A few came up to us for pets and some just played near us.

This place is so cute!! 10/10 vibes and the kittens are of course adorable. Lots of toys to play with the cats and comfy places to sit while feeling like you're immersed in a fairy ‍ forest.

    Already pre-adopted! Amazing

Don't get me wrong. I love cats, but was under the impression that it was a cat cafe. Cafe, meaning they may serve drinks/refreshments or snacks. It was also labeled on heavily as a 'cat cafe' and occasionally a cat lounge. Maybe we have the wrong definition of what a 'cafe' is. All the other cat cafes I've been to served refreshments with the visit. 50 minutes of just petting cats for that price is a little odd. I would call it a cat lounge. It also seems like there's a big group of people that enter the lounge at once. In the future, I would stagger appointments because it doesn't seem fair that the first person in line gets the full 50 minutes while the last person in line gets 45 minutes. Or, it doesn't need to be 50 minutes, maybe have an option to do 30 minute visits. Another thing they were dishonest about was that it mentioned on their website that I would get an exclusive sticker. "exclusive admission sticker" I did not get one and there was no mention of one. I would have been okay with that instead of a refreshment. The cats they had in the lounge were all kittens and oldest was 2 years old. That is very cute and should be easily adopted. I hope they give senior cats more of a chance. They deserve a better chance too. You take off shoes in the lounge. Employees were nice. Was wondering what cat food they ate, but the employee didn't know. Blue collars are male and other colors and prints are female. Wish they gave that information ahead of time or introduced the cats more. This is no different than going to local pet store and petting cats for free. Except this one you have to pay because the decor is nicer. Ambiance is great. There's a high place and cat door for cats to retreat to if they get overstimulated. One cat can open the door and one has asthma. They were all playful. Many kids and families visiting too. Great place for kids! Would I come here again? Probably not. The space is a little small. There are many cat cafes around the area with better options, but I do commend this cat lounge/habitat/sanctuary since they are just starting out.

Very great experience to relax and spend time with cats in need of love. Well worth the money and knowing it goes to a good cause. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend coming if you need time to decompress or looking to adopt a new family member!

It has been nearly a week since we adopted our lucky cats: our ginger fairy polydactyl, Ladybug, and our Russian Blue tsarina, / Kisunya, and we still feel enchanted by our entire experience with Cats & Crystals / Fairy Tail Rescue - we are completely under their spell. Everyone involved was kind and caring. When we picked up our cats it felt ceremonious. We were given cat treats and a gift bag that included adorable collars, pertinent cat care information printed, and drawings children had done of Kisunya, formerly Piano. That was a lovely, thoughtful touch. The fur babies are adjusting well and playing with one another. My son says his face hurts from smiling so much. My daughter's smile muscles are more developed, but she is head over heels in love, too. Our elderly chihuahua passed two years ago, and having little beasties grace our home again is a blessing. Thank you Cats & Crystals! We will still come sit with your cats when we are out and our nervous systems need regulating AND to shop your store. Thank you Cats & Crystals and Fairy Tail Rescue for an enchanting experience!

Don't walk, run to this magical cat space. ‍ It was like being in a cat fairy garden. In the entry, they have amazing crystals, jewelry, stickers, etc. Definitely passes the vibe check. The rules are short and sweet (I have been to other cat cafes that have entirely too many rules) and the fact that you have to take your shoes off makes it even more comfy cozy. We did a 70 minute visit so we were able to chat with one of the owners while he fed the cats and chat for a bit. What a kind human being. Most of my visit was sitting, comfortably, on a couch with 3 cats cuddled up sleeping on or next to me. My 12 year old played with the cats that were awake. We love this place and cannot wait to go back again next time we are near the area.

I am a huggeee cat lover, i saw this place on maps while visiting this area of cali on a lil vacation and this totally made my whole week. The cats were so cute, friendly, and very feisty! They have a lot of personalities and I can tell they're treated well. The staff is really nice and they have the cutest shop items. I also heard some cats are adoptable so they're doing a great job at giving cats a home and teaching them how to be social. Please visit this place and show them some support :D

Very fun & cute experience! I've been to several cat sanctuaries and this one was my favorite. It wasn't super crowded with people in the room as I'm used to and the cats were all playful and energetic. My boyfriend and I even considered adopting, but the cat we wanted was pre-adopted (good for that little guy). This business doesn't charge an arm and a leg for admission. Would visit again when in the area!

I visited for the grand opening, which featured numerous vendors and crafts. However, it was a bit disappointing because, despite advertising a first-come, first-served policy, they didn't update guests when they reached full capacity. After traveling from San Diego and arriving in the afternoon, I found out they had no availability. I finally made it back and had a great experience. Admission is $20 for 50 minutes on weekdays and $25 per person on weekends. They had eight or nine cats available for adoption, and I absolutely love the adoption center they partner with--I even adopted my cat from there! All the cats come microchipped and vaccinated. The interior is beautifully designed, and each booking allows up to eight people. The staff are incredibly friendly, and one of the employees even stopped by to visit with us. The cats were all very playful and affectionate, making for a wonderful experience that supports a great cause. I highly recommend checking them out!

Let me tell you my story as an 8 year supporter of lcal. We adopted our first dog (a boxer) through the founder, lisa (who is an absolute angel) in 2016. We loved our dog deeply until she passed away in 2022. When she passed, I started volunteering weekly with the rescue, walking dogs, trying to fill the void that my dog's passing left. I learned more about rescue and started fostering dogs through lcal. We took 4 foster dogs from intake through adoption, one of the fosters staying with us for 6 months! I also attended adoption events with these fosters, donating hundreds of hours promoting the rescue. I attended fund raisers, donated supplies and cash, and supported the lcal thrift store. I was invested in the mission. In December, I told the foster coordinator that we are looking for a dog to permanently add to the family, ideally a boxer between the ages of 2-5. I would send her listings from shelters, and she would explain why each dog was not going to work for lcal to pull for me. I appreciated her advice and was waiting patiently for a right fit. When she texted last week asking me to foster a boxer, Tyson, I was overjoyed! I expressed to her that we would love to and that we would hopefully adopt Tyson. Unfortunately lcal decided to advertise him on social media the next day and quickly got multiple applications from well vetted adopters. We were told on a Sunday (after having tyson for 4 days) that we needed to decide by Monday if we wanted to adopt. Otherwise he would go to a meet and greet on Wednesday and likely be adopted. On Monday evening, I texted the foster coordinator telling her that I had some questions about the adoption. She did not get back to me until Tuesday morning. We discussed my concerns (we have 4 cats and I ideally wanted more time to see how Tyson would interact with them) but I clearly told her we wanted to keep Tyson. She said she would ask the board for more time. Later that afternoon, I was told that because I wasn't sure, they were moving forward with the other adoption and I was no longer eligible to adopt Tyson. I was in shock. I responded that I wanted the dog and that I had put aside any uncertainty and please can we adopt Tyson. I was told no and that they would immediately come pick him up wherever I was. The lcal president contacted me and was so over the top harsh and rude, I felt like I was being treated like a criminal. My family is heartbroken. Just as we were bonding with what was likely the perfect dog for our family, he was forcibly taken away. Shame on you lcal. You've put deadlines and policy above what is best in complex situations. I understand the reasons for your policy, but you refused to have even the slightest flexibility for a long time supporter. You wouldn't even give me a few hours to get my questions answered before moving on to the other adopter who hadn't even met Tyson. You are burning your fosters, the very backbone of your organization.

Kat reached out the very next day after reviewing our application and pre approved us. Yelena reached out for all coordination afterwards. Marigold was not even posted on the rescues page but they were so kind and were able to get us in to meet her. The foster mom (and dad) were wonderful and have been doing this for so long (60+ kitties). We instantly fell in love with Marigold and were able to be selected to adopt her (pat on our back for being able to provide a good home). She came from a hoarder home and was lucky to survive from malnutrition. We came back to get her after getting she completed her shots/spayed. Not even 24 hours in, my one year old tabby loves her and she is settling in perfectly. I will say I have had not so great experiences with other rescues in the area and Dirty Little Paws surpassed all expectations! I hope one day I can repay them and foster another baby in need.

First we went and looked at them all and nobody came by. A woman who sits at a desk and unfortunately we don't know her name was going by and we asked if somebody could show us the kitten we wanted. There were 2 snuggled together in the back of the enclosure and all we could see was a ball of white fur. She said they are not allowed to take them out. My husband said how can that be, we want to adopt one of them but we can't tell which is the one. She was very rude to my husband, saying it was there protocol but would not answer his questions. My husband was upset, said we want to pay $200 for a kitten we can't even see, That's ridiculous! She walked away from us not offering any help for us! I wanted to leave and I have adopted prior and donated tons of stuff.
