super cute in here!! the cats are so adorable!! i would say it's also pretty affordable. if i had anything to say it would be that it's a lot of cats in a smaller room but they seem to be doing fine! just a bit of constructive criticism but i noticed that there weren't enough cat beds so a few of the kitties were crammed into one bed. there was obviously a little smell but it seemed well ventilated and controlled! staff were really friendly and helpful and everything seemed pretty clean

They were so sweet and friendly here. We were welcomed right away. My kids love cats and they were allowed to enter and interact with the cats for $5. They were welcoming but also protective of the kitties since they were newly fixed. My kids really enjoyed the time with the cats, they all were very well cared for and it was such a neat ambiance for the kids. We hope to visit back soon and maybe adopt one day!

Cats and Comics Rescue is a super wonderful place with a lot of fun things to do even outside the obvious: kitties. The cats are all full of personality, even if some of them (aka Peanut) are feisty most of the time. The staff and everyone are super awesome and truly care about the cats and making sure they get to their furever homes. Plus it's a comic/game store. They have game nights, a bunch of board games, various trading cards for purchase, and more nerdy stuff. If you love cats, comics, games, or supporting local business then check it out! Also joining Patreon lets you visit the cats any day and can even bring friends and family! (My wife and I definitely haven't been nearly every day this week )

i think the concept is really cool and love that they are catering to cat lovers and comic book lovers such an amazing concept! one of the black cats has a runny nose with his little boogies sticking out so i'm not sure if they were aware of that. also before you go make sure you are aware that you have to be a patreon member to touch the board games, i would've appreciated being told that before when i was asked if it was my first time there.

helpful staff and awesome cats! i will definitely visit again and again. they even have a great snack selection and a free roaming cat that loves pets.

absolutely fell in love with this kitty! and only $5 to go in and play with them.

So many kitties to play with and they're all super nice. Fell in love with one, hopefully he finds a home very soon

I'm someone that always tries to find any cat related store near me, I found this place and instantly fell in love!!! The workers were so kind and helpful, all the cats were sooo cuddly and fun to be around, it broke my heart walking out without a little cat buddy with me. So many different kinds of cats with such fun personalities!!! I instantly subscribed to their patreon and will be coming back very soon!!

I adopted 2 fur babies just last week and they're adjusting well into our home. I opted for 2 brothers from the same litter and it was the best decision I could have made! I honestly encourage anyone who is going to adopt and don't have other cats at home to do the same especially if during your visit you see 2 socializing together a lot or in a cuddle puddle together. They're inseparable and do everything together and seriously what's one more fur baby to love! I came to the facility twice once at the beginning of the day and another day mid day and found the place to be clean and tidy. Typical cat smells but nothing excessive at all considering the amount they have. Food bowls full water full. Several cats napping in hammocks but just as many chasing toys amongst the floor. I looked at several cats and none appeared sick in any way. No eye goop, runny noses, sneezing or dirty ears. They all appeared well kept and healthy. You can tell the staff puts in a lot of care into their rescue.

Cats and comics is awesome! Such a cool atmosphere and very clean. Great music, cool comics and only $5 to play with kitties!! They help out so many cats in the community and I am grateful for all they do.

The selection is excellent no matter what I'm looking for niche or brand new these guys know what they're doing. I can always trust them for excellent recommendations, I also pick up gifts for friends and family here they have a little bit for everyone. They even have a back issue bin where you can find a great value and even more selection of older issues. Eli and Eddie are just so friendly consistently and very knowledgeable, Jason really knows how to run this store (please never ever switch management). If you have the chance definitely make the treck to Claremont. Oh and one last thing thank you for making sure people with sticky wet hands aren't walking in here and ruining the pristine issues every collector would like to have.

The guy working talked to a couple patrons before they left, but as I was looking around, he didn't bother asking if I needed help finding anything. The staff at the comic book store in Claremont - A Shop Called Quest -are way better at helping, asking if you need anything, and like to talk about comics. Value: 0. Overpriced. I just checked my transaction history, and it was $43.53 out the door. Amazon has it for $19.

I'm rather new to comic collecting and I've been trying to keep my collection growing, but because I'm new to the hobby I don't always know how things work so I try to ask questions to the workers at the stores I visit. The store has one person who is honestly kind of rude. He is an older bald white guy. I've interacted with him a few times in the past briefly but I always felt he was kinda short and rude with me in comparison to how he interacts with other guests . I thought maybe I am overthinking the interaction so I always just let it slide and kept coming back. I told my partner briefly about this and he even agreed that maybe it could be me over thinking. I went in with my partner and this time I asked a question to the cashier about comic releases and the rude guy interjected and made condescending comments about me not knowing how releases work and overall made me feel really stupid. His whole energy just makes me feel like I'm not welcome and that I'm less than because I'm new to the comic hobby. When we left the store my partner immediately was like "is that the guy that is always rude to you?" I don't think I will come back to this store again because of how rude and unprofessional that guy is. He just really lacks customer service skills.

I finally was able to bring him and was pretty impressed by the shop. The walls are fully equipped with comics that range from Marvel, DC, anime, and other pop culture shows. I had a few comics that caught my eye; of course, Harley Quinn. Shout out to Enrique who satisfies my sons requests and always has what he wants. Every time Manny goes shopping there, Enrique has given numerous suggestions and gives him the inside scoop of what is new. All the comics are in great condition and packaged nicely to avoid damage. Definitely worth the price and to add to your collection. Back to the store, on the other side of the shop, there is an arcade with pinball machines and other popular arcade games. Such a fun time when visiting. Overall, great comic store and located conveniently next to the AMC. You can stop in to play a few games and to check out what they have in stock.

Our experience was better than I could've ever hoped for. There are rows and rows of different comic books, neatly organized, and very easily viewed. It is like a little kids comic book dreamworld. So many cool different things to look at. The staff (maybe owner?) Enrique is so kind and so happy to help. We were able to look at things that were within the age range for my kid to enjoy. There's also a couple rows of really cool vintage pinball games. For a dollar you get to play several rounds. Overall amazing experience, we will be back. I feel like everything we wanted to buy, we went ahead and bought and I still left there for under $30. I noticed that he's selling the current comic books for the price labeled on the book, he's not up selling and gouging. This is the kind of place I think our community should work really hard to keep in business.
