SCAPPOOSE!! I needed a cup of coffee, a cappuccino to be exact. We rolled through this little town and while expectations were low, we wandered into a diamond in the rough. First of all...GREAT COFFEE. The entry and dining room were decorated with a lot of wood, however, the thing that grabbed my attention was the book book. Everything about this place was original and amazing. Including the staff...bright and warm, I was happy to try their coffee creations...and they were brilliant.

Fantastic coffee shop. Dining room area is amazing with tons of seating. Service was a bit slow, but there was only one person on duty. Coffee was fantastic. This is a large coffee shop in a tiny town right off of the highway. Must stop.

Stopped by on our way back to Portland from St Helens. I needed a pick me up and was excited to try it out after seeing the great reviews. I was not disappointed!! The guy working was super friendly and made an awesome drink. I noticed they had a seasonal s'mores mocha available so I had to try it. I wasn't sure if it would taste as good as it sounded but it definitely did! The subtle graham cracker flavor worked very well with the coffee and he even toasted a few marshmallows on top! Overall it was a great experience and I'm glad we stopped. I'd recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Great atmosphere! Do not recommend the hot chocolate - it's watered down and not very chocolatey. Coffee is great.

We had a iced latte and a cappuccino - both were perfectly crafted by Maya.

It is a bit cluttered in the space. However, inside you will be greeted by the most beautifully crafted pastries of all shapes and colors. The craftsmanship of each pastry lends to a hand with utmost steadiness and preciseness. The also sell fantastic Japanese Soufflé Pancakes - they take time to make so plan for at least 30 minutes wait up to an hour on weekends. I picked out four of the pastries and the tiramisu. The pastries were all fresh and delightful in flavor. The lavender one was my absolute favorite - subtle yet flavorful. The tiramisu was a bit strong for me. Everything else was fantastic. Super super reasonable prices considering the quality.

Vincent took great care of us. There were two of us and we couldn't decide between sweet or savory so we opted to share two dishes. We got the veggie hash, with chicken sausage, added, and scrambled eggs, which also came with green salad and a mini croissant. Additionally, we ordered one sourdough pancake. Everything was incredibly delicious. I loved that they offered locally made salsa/hot sauce (from Battle Ground) and had three different types. I went for the hatch chili salsa, which went magnificently on the scrambled eggs. They offered habanero and serrano varieties as well. Great coffee and delectable lattes. We did not get any sweets from the bakery side this time, but we'll have to come back another time for them. They looked glorious. Lovely, comfortable and clean.

Was greeted after I was seated but it took another 10 minutes to get my order which I had to emphasize I was ready for both food and beverage order. My Americano (pictured) came in this massive mug versus the smaller one and what used to be a sweet presentation. I ordered a basic classic breakfast. Sad that they deep-fry the potatoes even for a short amount which takes away from what could be amazing flavor of the bit of rosemary. Croissant was small and flaky not so much buttery. As a person who has traveled Europe many times just wish the cute ambiance translated to the table and service.
