This is one of my favorite Starbucks locations. Every time I have visited, the baristas greet regular customers by name and know their usual drinks. When my mom was in town, I took her here, thinking that they would accommodate her very specific drink order. They did an amazing job understanding what she wanted and making it with precision. There's no drive through. There is bike parking out front and a water bowl for doggies. There are two all-gender private restrooms. There is a whole shelf of board games, and a bulletin board with local info. People sit and chat, work, play at the indoor tables or handful of outdoor tables. read more

To whom it may concern, I, Charles Lee, in the esteemed company of my bestie Mr. Philip Hamilton, did venture to the local establishment known as Starbucks this hearty morning in pursuit of sustenance- a grilled cheese and draught of chai latte. My dear Philip dabbled in a tasting of his very own curious confection he referred to as a "pop of cake." The staff were within the kindest disposition- so gracious and obliging- dare I say I would entrust them with the care of one of my own offspring. The place was a bustling hive of activity, filled with to the rafters with townsfolk and travelers alike. Truth be told, the din was enough to make a fella feel like they'd taken a knock to the noggin after a long night on the tipple. Yet, lo and behold -- one sip of that chai and I was roused with the swiftness of a cavalry charge. By thunder, that was a tonic fit for a general! Welp Starbucks, the level of ineptness on your staff definitely explains your drop in profits. I love that I went to purchase a reusable cup and the girls behind the counter said they couldn't put my coffee in the cup. This is dumb and I am irritated... they were sorry and so was I... I left without said cup and coffee and went to another shop. read more

Always a lively Starbucks with great energy from the customers and those working here. Located on Fremont amongst lots of local shops and restaurants, there is a great neighborhood feel. It is the perfect location to stop for a hot or cold beverage while visiting this area. Parking is on the street and you may not be able to park right out front, but that's ok, your here for more than the coffee! read more

5 out of 5! Heck, 10/10! I went to this location 5 mins before closing and, at first, felt bad about ordering anything *that* close to the end of the employees' work day. Prior to ordering, I asked if I could place an order and the employee who helped me was fantastic! They had a warm personality and made my drink perfectly. When I was heading out, another employee saw my old hoodie and knew the obscure location I had moved here from. Small world, great coffee, and warm banana bread. Super dope location! My local Starbucks is where I get my coffee fix. Since we went into covid, these folks have really stepped up. I am a big fan of the app and how I can place my order and just walk in and my order is sitting right there waiting for me. The people that work here are very friendly and hard working. This is my go to spot for getting out of the home office on days I need a change of place. Have not had any problems getting a seat or wall socket to plug in - even on weekends. Very friendly staff! My only gripe is this place seems to have a funky odor. I can't put my finger on it. Burnt coffee? Wild fire smoke coming through the AC vents? I can smell it in my clothes when I leave and I usually spend a good 2-3 hours here. Not enough to stop me from coming back though! read more

What can you say about Starbucks that hasn't been said for is already known? This location is your average Starbucks with one big perk, they offer reserve coffee selections made in The famous Clover. If you have never tried coffee made in the clover it is very worth a shot. The machine works similar to a French press where the coffee is allowed to sit in the water for a while in a sorb the flavor. The difference is after at the coffee house sat for long enough in the water it uses a vacuum pump to suction out your delicious coffee free which will be free from the grounds are awesome left behind when using a French press. The staff at this location is typical to most very friendly with really nothing bad to say about them. The location is spacious with plenty of places to grab a seat and get some work done, or sit in the corner on a comfy chair and read a book. To be honest if I plan on staying in a coffee shop on Fremont for an extended period of time, I prefer Jim and Patty's down the street. However when I'm looking for a Starbucks this is a good one for me. read more

Came in for a meeting and it lasted until they closed, Alison and Cam ( our baristas) we're amazing and let us stay a few extra minutes to get finished up then gave us refills for having to close. They were incredibly nice and friendly to us and not your typical robot starbucks barista. read more

Lattes are consistently delicious. Appreciate that the Almond milk is not too sweet...just right. The staff is friendly and super efficient. Online orders are ready for pickup almost instantaneously. Great management with attention to cleanliness (so much nicer an environment than either Fremont and 15th and 39th and Sandy). Staff make everyone feel welcome, including Beaumont middle schoolers who arrive each afternoon about 4 and add some fun positive energy to the place. Also, a good business neighbor within the Beaumont Business Association Fremont Ave community. Definitely my favorite PDX Starbucks, and I love that it's right in my neighborhood! read more

Not only was the cashier extremely rude but he made rude comments as I was walking out. I'm sorry but wearing my PJ pants till 12 pm on a Saturday isn't a bad thing.. Its my day off! Everyone from the person taking my order, to the girl making my drink, to the person cleaning the counter had an attitude. Only go here if you shop at Ethan and Allen or think wearing PJ's on a saturday at 11:00am is a horrific thing. Super friendly and they always get it right. The one time they messed up and I asked if they could remake they were happy to do so. They're open early and even at the wee hours of the morning really friendly.
