I am a bodyworker and have had five craniosacral sessions with Catharine. During the sessions, my limbs move on their own, making small, spontaneous adjustments. The work feels deep and genuinely transformative. After one session, I could still feel the micro-movements later that evening and into the next day. Overall, my back now feels more supple and less restricted. I highly recommend Catharine! read more

All three of my treatments with Catharine have been pretty amazing. Besides being grounded and knowledgeable, her work goes deep into my body and nervous system. Each session I have found my pain easing up and relief lasting longer. read more

I am profoundly grateful for Catharine's exceptional skill, wisdom, insight, and seemingly magical healing power; I can honestly say she has transformed my life for the better. And for the first time in my life, I am optimistic it will stay that way. I came to her with postconcussion syndrome (PCS) and she intuited that a deeper injury occurred before hitting my head. She was right, as a seemingly intractable well of anxiety born from complex trauma was an obstacle to healing my concussion. She has worked with me to heal not just PCS but also to release fear, anxiety, and shed trapped energy my body was holding onto from traumatic experiences. I already feel like a calmer, more centered, balanced person and it's only been three sessions. She also is deeply kind, warm, funny and her studio is a calming sanctuary. Thank you Catharine! read more

Catharine helped me through a really difficult time dealing with complex trauma (past and present) and chronic pain with regular craniosacral sessions. The experience of working with Catharine was of being profoundly safe and supported and my nervous system finally being able to deeply settle. I feel more present, resourced, and grounded. Look forward to continued sessions! read more

Catherine Brook Anderson is an exceptional practitioner. Her expertise in craniosacral work as well as her kindness and warmth is just what I needed after a bad car accident. It left me injured and with post concussion syndrome. The most incredible thing is that even though my situation was complex Catharine understood and I did not need to translate my experience or the repercussions of the injury. Her presence and sensitivity is in itself a relief. Trauma and PTSD combined with injury is hard to navigate. If you are able to go to Catharine for help, for whatever your issue is, you are very lucky. I most highly recommend her with no hesitation. It is a great relief. read more

Catherine is not only a great professional in her area of expertise but she is also a great human being. I can't be thankful enough for the healing that she is bringing to myself during each of our sessions. It's very easy to dive deeply when working with her and to find clear and positive ways to hold a space and to heal my wounded parts of myself. I also get more higher energy and clarity in general after each session with her. read more

Working with Catharine is impacting the way I move through my life. Much of the time, I operate with a fair amount of worry or anxiety - a kind of perfectionism that is stressful. Catharine's work is helping me to recalibrate myself so that I am more aware of what's happening as it's happening, and so I can soften my stance and be more present. She is an extremely gifted healer. read more

I've been a beneficiary of Catharine's work both as a craniosacral student of hers at McKinnon and as a craniosacral massage client. There's something magical about Catharine that is hard to put your finger on (as if we could do that about anyone!) but it becomes more and more apparent to me that what she embodies and shares so generously is extremely rare. She has exquisite listening skills - both in conversation and in craniosacral/bodywork. She has a way of understanding the crux of something so that when I share what's going on with me, I feel safe and secure knowing that she *actually* understands what's going on. As a result, I've been able to feel our practitioner/client relationship deepen in a way that I cherish and find incredibly valuable and rare. No two sessions are cookie cutter with Catharine. She always meets me where I am and I always feel my nervous system softened by her compassion, listening, and wisdom. This is deep and rare work! read more

Catharine is a phenomenal craniosacral therapist. She was one of my teachers in massage school and I really trusted her touch and her openness. Her touch is intuitive and deeply healing. Every time I leave her office I feel so grounded, relaxed, and like I have processed some deep emotions in my physical body. Can't recommend her enough! read more

I was curious about Craniosacral Therapy because several people I highly respect, including Catherine, are practitioners. My experience over the six weeks was deep and transformational. While being held, I was able to access an essential place in me that opened up. The support of weekly sessions gave me an awareness of a boundary within myself that wasn't fully healthy. I am experiencing life differently after working with Catherine. I am able to sense energetically when to follow my inner knowing and be clear, grounded, and strong. read more

I've been seeing Catharine for four years. She is a seriously skilled, professional and compassionate Craniosacral Therapist. Working with her has helped me with migraines, jaw issues, chronic neck tension, as well as calming me down on emotional days when it feels like the world is overwhelming. I always have more clarity and feel relaxed after a single session. As a yoga teacher and Craniosacral Therapist, I have also done a series of mentoring sessions with Catharine and learned so much about working with my students and clients. I can't speak highly enough about her. read more

I had a session with Catharine recently, the first time I've done craniosacral work. I came in feeling a lot of tension in my body related to some challenges in my family. I came out with the deepest sense of relaxation I've felt in quite a while. And it's persisted, which has helped me be more grounded and present in my family challenges. Catharine could feel where things were misaligned in me, and worked with me in the gentlest way. I didn't really know what to expect but the results were pretty amazing. I'll definitely go back in the future! read more

Catharine is the real deal. I first saw her for craniosacral therapy to help with a chronic illness. And now, I've been "seeing her" digitally. I can say she is skilled both in person and online. She is able to hold tender space and calm your nervous system. It is rare to find such a gentle, intuitive, and knowledgable soul with a great tool kit to meet you where you are at. Highly recommend :) read more

I have been in pain for a long time. My neck and shoulders were just killing me even after getting massages from my friends and class mates. I knew there was something much deeper that I needed to look for another type of healing. So I found out Catherine who is a friend is a professional in craniosacral and booked an appointment with her today. I can tell without hesitation, 5 stars doesn't do justice. She simply takes you to another dimension.... I am a CMT myself and trained in craniosacral modality, but her intuitive healing hands simply can not be attained through training. She is a master. I highly recommend her. read more

When I came to see Catharine I was emotionally really upset and in my head around an encounter I had that day. I wasn't even sure I should have her touch me as my pain body was really activated. From the moment I arrived her calm voice and deep presence soothed me. When she cradled my neck I immediately felt a sense of calm. In about 15 minutes I was so relaxed that I had stopped obsessing about the story that initially upset me. In fact the story had disappeared altogether. I began to feel her opening up my subtle body and felt electrical charge from my head to my toes creating a tingling sensation throughout my body. Then out of the blue I had a vision, it was clear as day, I had a dear walk up to me on the table and whisper, "gentle" in my ear. By the end of the session I felt like a brand new woman. I left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated and quite honestly like a miracle had happened. Catharine is very intuitive and has amazing insights as well. After the session she gave some really worthwhile feedback as to what she felt going in my body that truly resonated with me. This was my second session with her and I'm excited for what the third session will bring. Thank you Catherine for all your amazing abilities and for the deep healing! Blessings, Michaelah read more

I feel so grateful to have found Catharine. She is highly skilled and intuitive, a wonderful combination of ease, focused presence and clear insight. Craniosacral sessions with Catharine are deeply relaxing and help me come back to my center. I trust her completely, which is not something I do easily. I've signed on to mentor with her and further my own studies of cranio sacral. She is very professional and great to work with on that level as well. I love the integration of coaching with the deeper cranio work - very powerful. read more

As a holistic practitioner myself, I definitely expect a lot from the practitioners I trust for my own healing and Catharine absolutely delivers! If you are lucky you can sometimes meet people whose presence helps to activate healing within yourself. I can say that Catharine has been such a person for me. Her work is very balancing to cope with stress, anxieties and unresolved issues. I found ways to sense and also share my current situation somatically/physically.. Catharines work and her warm, respectful and authentic-joyous personality was a wonderful support in weeks of grieving and transformation. I came twice for 90 minutes each and found the longer sessions helpful to settle down and find the calm courage to deal with what was important to me. I can highly recommend Catharine for her gentle and powerful work. Her work is 5 stars plus - I am very grateful! read more

Catharine is a very skilled healer and I felt very attuned to during her sessions. Her insights and knowledge about the body/mind/spirit were very clarifying and helpful. Craniosacral work is amazing and in a way much better than a massage because the energy shifts are deeper. I learned to relate differently and gentler to pain and contracting patterns in my body. Her space is lovely with nice relaxing music in the background. It felt like such a treat to relax and lay down with Catharine's gentle touch and focused intuitive energy. I highly recommend her. read more

I tend to gravitate towards more direct physical therapy modalities like massage, chiropractic, accupuncture and physical therapy. I am a bit skeptical of sublte energy work so was happily surprised at the results of a session with catharine. I could feel the suble manipulation but Im not sure completely what happened to be honest. All i know is I found myself in a deep calm relaxed state during the session which was surprising as it was so subtle. Ive returned for more sessions as i wanted to make sure it wasnt just a chance experience-It wasnt . I cant tell you what a good craniosacral therapist is or isnt but whatever she is doing provided me with wonderful tension/ stress release which is ultimately what i needed and fully appreciated read more

Catharine is an amazing healer! With the loss of my marriage, my parents and my job within a few short years, I felt I was unraveling and was unable to bounce back from small stresses. My emotions were negative and I was completely stressed out. Catharine's gentle ways of healing my body gave me strength and resilience...her craniosacral work basically "stitched" me back together! She's also a skilled life coach, and is really skilled in helping reframe issues and problems. I am in such good shape both emotionally and psychically, thanks to Catharine! read more

Catharine is the best. I've had a lot of bodywork and energy work, including a fair amount of cranial, and I'm really impressed with Catharine's skill and presence. The work environment she has created is beautiful and she has a great ability to read what's happening in your body and meet you there. She's also great at allowing you to process what's happening verbally, or have a peaceful, silent healing experience. Two thumbs up! read more

I had my first session this evening. I entered her wonderful relaxing space with no idea what I was in for after having several professionals recommend this modality to me. Catharine is a very real person, easy to talk to and wonderfully direct when discussing the treatment. I felt immediately very safe to have whatever experience would present itself to us. The treatment itself is very complicated to describe but as someone very highly educated in head and neck anatomy it was immediately clear she knows what she's doing. She asked me some questions during the treatment that were insightful around the emotional components of how our nervous system and bodies respond to our emotional experiences. This is a real unteachable skill to be able to gently help you explore difficult areas without leading you or telling you. The actual treatment is soothing and effective and really just impossible to describe. I felt movement when there was none. I left able to breathe easily and feeling great. I'm excited to dive deeper into Craniosacral and very glad to have a guide like Catharine! read more
