    The fish is excellent. It's been a while since my last visit and I see a lot of improvements in the taste of the fish and the quality. Get them spicy and you will taste the flavor. It's not so spicy it burns your tongue but a nice Creole flavor. Wait times are usually not that long either.

    Supporting small local businesses is hard with this one. First time since I'm new to the area and last time. Called in my order, a rude lady answers the phone ... made my order. Went to pick it up ... 30 min wait, with is fine. Got my food and left. When I left I noticed tons of rat droppings, junk stacked up in the waiting area and the place was just filthy. Got home. Food was disappointing and scary to try now. Fries were soggy and greasy. Fish wasn't great. This is not catfish. Did not taste like catfish. At all. If it was, it's probably frozen catfish from Sam's. More corn meal than fish. The crab cake looked like a burnt chocolate cookie and the taste was off. I just threw it away. Who knows how old it was. The shrimp and tartare sauce just ok. I couldn't eat it anymore. Just dumped it. Never again, just a waste of money.

    Catfish Connection at 2464 W Kiest Blvd, Dallas, TX 75233 I do got to say if you go there on Friday you can have to wait in line. Overall I ordered from Uber Eats for pickup. They give you kind of a quick window when to pick up. Please remember this place is taking a lot of orders by phone also You don't even sit down inside to eat here and everything is take out. Remember they're getting a lot of orders. Now I got to say they messed up on my order. They missed out on something but they made up by giving me two extra fish fillets. I was going to give him three stars but when I ate the food an I noticed that I ate it so fast. I didn't even take enough pictures so what does that tell you lol If you are in the area and it's not lunch time or dinner time. You owe it to yourself to stop by here and enjoy this delicious fish If it's dinner or lunch time just understand you going to wait to enjoy

    Catfish is salty and has like a Tony Cachere tang but not really spicy, fries are soggy and bread is old. The tartar sauce taste thousand islands dress with a kick. The best part is the pickles and jalapeños. Of course the place is small and cooked to order. The staff is always friendly but the food every time hits differently. I have to update I gave them another chance. I am updating from 3 to 4. Go get a slice of cake.

Like Restoration Hardware met someone emotionally stable. Elliott was our server and an absolute delight. Joseph was the manager, casually spreading joy like Oprah with a tray of Bloody Mary shots. Amber... now let me pause here, because this woman deserves a paragraph of her own. Amber isn't just a GM. She's the kind of soul you meet once and never forget. When I asked for her to come to our table just to pay her a compliment, we both practically teared up. She received it with open arms, no ego, no deflection, just pure, gracious presence. I was mid-sentence and suddenly I had that Creed song stuck in my head. You know the one. "With arms wide open..." That's the kind of energy she brought to the entire restaurant. Amber made every person in that room feel like they mattered. Not because it's her job, but because it's who she is. She's fresh off earning her master's in hospitality, and if that degree came with a crown, she's wearing it. The Porch doesn't just run smoothly. It runs on Amber energy. But let's talk about the moment I saw God. Cornbread Eggs Benedict: Not crab. Not salmon. Corn. Bread. And not just any cornbread. The softest, fluffiest, most cuttable cloud of golden glory I've ever had the pleasure of annihilating with a fork. A fork, not a steak knife. Do you understand how rare that is? Normally I'm out here sawing through an English muffin like I'm in a lumberjack competition. This? Melted like butter. Tasted like a hug. 12/10. Incredible. And then, as if the eggs benny enlightenment wasn't enough, Joseph reappears with a tray of free Bloody Mary shots for the entire restaurant. With olives. For everyone. The joy? Immediate. The energy? Electric. The crowd? Unified. I watched a grandmother at the next table raise her glass like the queen she is. I nearly cried. This wasn't service.
