A great casual little spot. The food is always consistent and delicious. Thanks Amani for the great service and a big shout out to the guys in back making these delicious plates.

This is a small place but has seating on the inside. It's hidden inside a plaza. The staff were nice and everything was cooked to order. I have seen many people rave about catfish basket and finally tried them. We ordered the catfish filets and chicken wings. I loved the idea of being able to try both in a combo option. Prices are reasonable and the food was fresh, so expect to wait. I never mind waiting, if my food will be fresh. I was disappointed that we got toast instead of hush puppies but overall we enjoyed the food. I would definitely go back

1 piece catfish with 6 shrimp & fried okra.

The food was delicious. I got the one-piece catfish with 6 shrimp. I substituted the fries for fried okra. I was very happy that I did. I love fried okra, which has been a challenge to find in local restaurants. The portions were generous and made fresh to order. My husband ordered the 2 piece catfish with 6 shrimp and substituted the fried for potato salad. He was very satisfied with his meal. The service was great and friendly. We will definitely be back!

First time trying this spot and not my last! Went on a lunch date with my BFF and let's just say everything sounded so good. Excellent friendly customer service very patient. we decided to get a sampler plate, hush puppies, and fried gizzards. The sampler was plenty for both of us. A catfish fillet, catfish nuggets and half a bone in catfish, with okra and hush puppies all 3 catfish options tasted differently but we weren't complaining. Catfish was cooked perfectly, the okra was hot and crispy, the hush puppies were small but packed with flavor. The fried gizzards were good but a little too tough and chewy. We got sweet tea and a bottled water that tea is sweeeet!! We left stuffed but happy with leftover okra and gizzards. Great spot and quick service.

This place was difficult to locate but well worth it! SIMPLY WONDERFUL Catfish and Shrimp and southern fried okra! Fresh and hot. I highly recommend this food. The best fried catfish we have found in El Paso. Try it!

100% recommend this hidden little spot!! I read some good reviews about this place and decided to make a 28min drive here from the east side. Best decision!!! Since I can only eat fish during lent on Friday's I was willing to make the drive to try this place out. I got there and placed my order to go. The male employee taking my order was very helpful and friendly while taking my order. They have so many items to choose from but again since it's lent season I had to stick with the catfish. I had ordered 2 catfish specials to go and 4 catfish fillets separately. While I was waiting I saw a customers order of fried okra and hush puppies and was convinced order some to go as well. Once my order was ready the male employee taking the orders was polite to show me my order before bagging up. I truly appreciated that gesture. I will say overall the place isn't appealing to the eye but let me say.... The food and service MAKES UP FOR IT ALL!!! The best part is that the food is not even greasy AT ALL!! Be sure to come with an appetite because those catfish pieces are most definitely not small. Everything I ordered was delicious even my mom approved of it. I think I'll be skipping long john silver now and coming here more often. Enjoy the pics :)

A handful of my friends told me this would be the best catfish joint in El Paso. I had to try it myself to see if it was true. It's located along an assuming shopping strip (actually it looks deserted, but it has a funeral home in the middle of the strip), and I almost missed it because I really didn't notice any signs initially. Just looking from the outside, it gives you an impression that it's going to be one of those dives (photo), and I hoped at least the food will be decent. Interior matched (again, photo) an unimpressive exterior, and I became somewhat skeptical about what they offered. I just ordered two pieces of catfish fillet because that's what I was after. Instead of french fries, I got some fried okra, and I was not disappointed. Instead of normal Texas toast, I got some hush puppies. All that for under $10. They gave me a bottled water for free. Wait was about 15 mins after I placed my order. I'd recommend to call ahead your order if you don't want to wait too long. There were handful of tables, and some folks were waiting for their to-go orders. Catfish was very good--fresh tasting, not too salty and not greasy, but it had enough flavor in the coating. Hush puppies were rather small but tasty. There were plenty of fried okra. I probably should've eaten half of it since the serving was generous. A friendly owner-chef came out to check on everyone to see if we were enjoying our food. I thought that was a nice touch. It must've not been too busy for him to be able to do that. We talked for a while, and I found out he has had his joint open for 12 years. That's a very good sign for this small eatery in an obscure location to survive all those years. The next time I come here I need to try their wings. Several folks were eating them, and they looked very good.

Whole catfish!

Fried catfish isn't bad. I've also had the wings and the fried okra. Bottled water here is free. I was a little disappointed with the whole catfish, I was expecting the head tail and everything. Oh well.

Food was good but the customer service needs some improvement. Otherwise, I would go again and recommend it.

Best place in EP to eat fried catfish. The catfish nuggets are the best for dipping. Start there if you are unsure.

First, excuse the lack of photos as we immediately started eating once our food came out! But no disappointments there! The appetizer, fried pickles (pictured) were great! They were fresh, hot and seasoned super well! We used the ranch but they were perfect as is! I got the bacon cheeseburger burger with everything on it, and it was THEE BEST! I ordered it medium, it was cooked just right, cheese melted and quite filling! We also ordered the Honey-Hot wings and they were good, not too spicy but a fair balance! This lunch visit made for such a great afternoon! The service, engagement from staff and atmosphere is actually the best from what I've experienced from nearby wing/sport spots! I can honestly say that. I will be back, and the lunch vibe/atmosphere is one I enjoyed. Our bartender was also a GEM! Give them a visit when you get the chance!

All the sudden I felt like having some wings tonight. I pass this place all the time but I have…read morenever gone in myself to get any food before, so I decided to go get some wings here. It was a little harder than I thought it would be. This is what happened: I made a mistake of not calling my orders in, but for my own defense I had never been to this place before myself, and I really didn't know what to order so I really didn't have any choice but to go in. Now that I picked the take out menu up for future reference, I would always call my order in when I want to eat their wings. It took me 50 minutes+ to get my food of mere 10 pcs. of wings after I placed my order at the front counter. If I'd known it would take so long, I certainly would've called it in to save some time. It seemed the cashier was taking care of the phone in orders before filling in-person orders. I felt like I wasted some precious time just waiting for my food to come up. Having said that, my wings were very good. I ordered 10 traditional wings with two flavors--Sweet Teriyaki and Caribbean Jerk for $9.99 before tax. Wings were coated very lightly and done to perfection. Just as the name suggests Teriyaki sauce was very sweet, but not overly sweet that I couldn't enjoy it. Now, Caribbean Jerk tasted like just having some salt flavor. I didn't even taste any pepper--I wasn't really expecting that at all. Customer service was just OK. The cashier/server was pleasant enough, but I really don't know if this girl likes to be doing her job or not. I would definitely recommend you to call your order in before you go to this place whether you are dining in or taking it out.

I had the hot honey and hot TX BBQ sauce, but neither was terribly spicy. I look forward to trying other menu items next time, such as the fried catfish and cheese fries.
