The Mamasama team made it so easy -- from building the menu, to setting up and cooking, to serving the food/wine during the meal and managing all of the cleanup. The team has such great energy they added to the whole night...not just with food, but also with their presence. We built an amazing menu (see the images) -- crowd favorites were the the pumpkin aranchini, porchini mushroom pasta and the homemade tiramisu. We had leftover meatballs the next day and they were just as good as the night of the party. I would highly recommend catering with Mamasama. Their menu is very limited and by looking at the pictures, that Ragu definitely caught my eye. I'm a meat eater and this plate has chunks of beef so I ordered it. Come to find out, they change the meat and pasta often so the meat they put in Ragu that night was ground beef (like bolognese) and the pasta was the large macaroni type. Very disappointed to say the least. Steak chunks in parpadelle pasta just like what they served prior would have been five stars! My wife's pasta dish was also changed to gnocchi which she didn't care for. We definitely went on a wrong night, but what can you do if your reservation is still a month away? The only thing I enjoyed was the tiramisu. Light and not too sweet. Service was slow although our server was friendly and accommodating. Mamasamas is only available for dinner and maybe because it's cooler at night. The place had fans running throughout and windows open. Not sure if it has air conditioning.

The cosmic fries were below average and that could stem from the way the fries are made (shoestring style) but even then the seasoning on it was nothing special. The cosmic fries came with a cosmic sauce that was great and was a perfect addition to the burger. The Venus wings were solic with pretty good texture but ridiculously overpriced with a price tag of 13$ for 5 wings which is a scam, if you charging 15$ for wings they gotta be the best wings ever (they weren't). The Buffalo sauce that comes with the wings was definitely hot and the bba and ranch were decent. All in all, it's a solid spot that ! could see myself coming back to for their Mercury burger.

I'm happy to report that it was everything I wanted it to be! I love the thinness of the patties and just everything about the burger. The guys were very friendly and the wait was very short. These aren't your "boiled-first-then-smoked" mushy ribs. These are toothsome and have texture; a beautiful smoke ring, smoky and a little spicy. Perfect without sauce and even more so with it. The Chuckwagon beans are my favorite iteration of baked beans I've ever had. Bits of ground beef add texture and the molasses a bit of sweetness. Give them a follow so you know where to stalk them

However, and this may be just my opinion but, if you're going to call your food truck "The Fried Egg" perhaps eggs should be a part of the make up of most of you menu items. Given the current menu options I think a better name for this truck would be "The Fried Egg is a $1 add-on option." I mentioned to the young lady taking my order that it surprised me that, given the name of the truck, I would have to pay an up charge for an egg. She relayed my sentiments to the cook, who may have been the manager or owner. Nevertheless, I ordered the Classic Smash Burger and did ask for the fried egg add-on. The food was prepared really quickly and the burger looked perfect. However, the young lady informed me that unfortunately they only had 4 eggs left and that they all fell and broke on the floor before my burger was ready. So she handed me a $1 bill as a refund. Obviously disappointed (and skeptical of the story) I accepted the refund and went on my way.
