We initially thought we did not want a wedding planner. But our wedding venue, Piney River Ranch,…read morerequired a "day of" wedding planner. After interviewing several on their list of preferred vendors, we were relieved to find Marguerite and we feel fortunate we were able to work with her. She takes time to get to know the people she is working with and has a wonderful and thoughtful way of figuring out what is wanted and needed. Further, she makes things come together without fuss or fanfare. She is attentive to details but keeps sight of the "forest" in addition to the "trees". We had some unusual requests and she handled them beautifully. Our officiant had had bad experiences with Wedding Planners and he was less than keen to have to someone else "running the show". Marguerite was not offended by his request that she be to the side and take instructions from the officiant during the wedding. We wanted a low key wedding with the focus being the beautiful views and the wildflower meadows present at the venue. We did not want traditional wedding flower arrangements. We wanted to use river rocks and greenery on the tables along with the battery operated candles required by the venue. Marguerite kindly stored the battery operated candles I found so we had ones we liked. She helped us work with a florist to come up with greenery that was just right. Once Marguerite understood the look we were trying to achieve, she worked with us and the tables looked lovely. She even helped collect natural river stones which she then put back in the river. She has a deep rolodex of people with whom she works and we have no doubt what ever kind of wedding you dream of Marguerite can help you make it happen.

I worked alongside her for this wedding from about 2 months out to plan and prepare. What really impressed me was her patience in dealing with me as an entertainer and ability to partner with me to make everything run smoothly. Upon arrival, she and her team had everything prepared, there was amazing sense of order and peace. For events, it is great to have people that can handle the situations with ease and a smile. That is my impression of Kelly and her team. I could not have been more equipped walking into and during the Wedding. The guests were so happy and taken care of due to her staff's execution and talent. Cant wait to work with them again.

Our party was exactly what we envisioned and the time spent planning was well worth it. These ladies are amazing, and we will never be able to thank them enough. It is very easy to get preoccupied with planning details, and Frosted Pink Weddings allowed us to put the details aside and took care of absolutely everything for us, so that we were able to focus on the most important things; our family, friends and each other. Frosted Pink Weddings went above and BEYOND to make it a special experience for us and my fiance said the morning after the party ..."that was the most incredible night of my life. I've never had a party like in my life and I didn't ever think that I would. It was amazing." It brought tears to my eyes :) People have been complimenting us left and right and I have made sure to let all the brides to be and everyone know that it was all Frosted Pink Weddings hard work and incredible efforts, so thank you!! Thank you both from the bottom of our hearts! :)

Not sure how this women is a wedding planner or how she even has a 5 star review!?! This is the…read morereason I hired her but soon I would regret it. I hired Priscilla for the entire planning of my wedding which was 3,000 she collected half upfront and the rest would be 2 weeks before my wedding. From the very beginning, I had a bad feeling about working with this planner. She was often unresponsive to my emails and calls, even during the crucial stage of finding my venue. I personally set up about 10 venue appointments, while she only arranged 4. I was already close to firing her and had even started a claim with my bank to recover my $1,500 deposit. Once she realized how serious I was, she apologized and promised to improve -- and unfortunately, I decided to give her a second chance. She did help me find a florist that matched my vision, and I am grateful for that. However, that small success does not make up for her overall lack of follow-through. Afterward, her effort quickly declined again. I had to repeatedly reach out and remind her to help me find a bakery for my cake, which she never did beyond contacting one vendor that didn't work out. When I asked her for a general sequence of events for the wedding (so I could plan the timing of the toast, cake cutting, and dancing), instead of providing guidance, she just sent me a list of questions. After that, communication dropped off completely. Now, with only three months left before my wedding, she still hadn't checked in or offered any help. I decided to terminate her services, and she dismissed my concerns as "anxiety toward wedding planning." In reality, I paid her $3,000 and received little to no results. Please be aware and make sure you truly connect with and vet your vendors before signing a contract. I am still trying to reach a resolution, but she remains unresponsive. I intend to pursue this matter fully, as it's unfair for professionals to take advantage of clients during such important moments. BE AWARE.

Alex and Lindsey were professionals and extra warm and friendly, it felt like your closest friends were preparing the food for you. And they do the dishes too! We looked forward to their mouth watering breakfast spreads which covered home made breads, made to order eggs/ omelettes, roasted potatoes, quiches, fresh fruit, and sausage. Their appetizers were outstanding, we loved their raspberry baked Brie bites, chicken satay, and vegetarian spring rolls. At the wedding they prepared a delectable filet mignon with fig glaze. Despite the daily mouthwatering food, the staff went above and beyond to make sure every guest was satisfied and well fed. The staff was friendly, engaging, and happy to share their recipes with us. We were greeted with a smile and taken to our table. They were moderately busy but gave us a huge booth anyways, which I liked. Our server was very nice, helpful and checked on us often, but not too often ;) We asked if she had a Spanish wine preference and of course she picked the most expensive one, but we took her advice and ordered it anyways. It started with an "F" and I wish I could remember what it was. All I remember was that it was red, almost spicy, and the perfect match for our steaks. Our salads were good, but the steaks were so unbelievable!! They were perfect and tender and didn't need any extra flavoring or sauces, even though they came with several on the side. Desert was scrumptious, delicate, creamy and filling, but then again we were pretty full by that time anyways. I'm still really amazed by everything this restaurant had to offer and look forward to dining there again. Only downside is that it was a little pricey and you shouldn't go in jeans, but the food was perfect and worth every penny and then some!

We stopped in at the end of lunch on one day. The hostess was very kind, but it took our waiter 10 minutes to acknowledge our presence. He got my order wrong, took it back, then the kitchen got it wrong. All of this took over half an hour - an eternity when I'm running low blood sugar. The next morning we braved Chaps again (having learned the hard way that DJ Macadams was closed), figuring going in the middle of breakfast would be a different story. They have the typical buffet breakfast, and the omlette chef rocked. But our waiter disappeared once he sold us on the $20/plate buffet, and the french toast and pancakes in the buffet were inedible. Maybe they are better at dinner. But I was sorely disappointed to find this level of bad service within Cascade. The rest of the hotel staff rock, they completely rock. But Chaps might as well be attached to a Howard Johnson's in Miami Beach.
