We had a wonderful experience with Alexandra and her team! Most importantly - the raclette was delicious and authentic and impressed my Father in Law who grew up in Europe. Alexandra was easy to work with, an excellent communicator, and our dinner was a huge success. I highly recommend them for a fun, high quality, and unique in-home dining experience. read more

We had our annual company Christmas party in Vail this year and Alex's Raclette dinner was above and beyond our expectations and really blew us away. The food was phenomenal. The meat, seafood, and cheeses were of the highest quality and so fresh tasting. Cooking it as a group is such a fun and unique experience; each person can cook it exactly how they like it. All the mouthwatering sauces were the cherry on top. Speaking of cherries, the s'mores dessert was a perfectly sweet ending to the night. Alex and Lindsey were professionals and extra warm and friendly, it felt like your closest friends were preparing the food for you. And they do the dishes too! We will without a doubt be repeat customers in the future. You are doing yourself a disservice if you do not try this out! read more

We have been booking Rocky Mountain Raclette for quite some time - always a fun and great experience for the family and with their team! We had an adult table with 10, a table with 11-college, and the island for the littles below 5 years of age. They accommodate it all and at the same time! They know our house and brought extra grills. I clean up before they arrive and when they leave, my house is even cleaner!!! You can't go wrong with this fun CO experience!!! Book now! Book early! Amazing service and hospitality. What a fun and unique dinner! Alex is an amazing chef.

Extraordinary Raclette and 1st Class Service! When we planned our vacation to the Vail Valley for our extended family to celebrate a special event, we wanted to have one special dinner where we weren't doing the cooking and cleaning and one that would stand out for us and our guests. We have been to Switzerland many times, and the best meals that we have there are always Swiss Raclette. I wasn't sure that Rocky Mountain Raclette could recreate our experiences in Switzerland, but they exceeded them instead. Not only was the Raclette meal authentic and wonderful, the service that Alex and Bobby provided was seamless and over the top. If you are looking for unique and special dinner service, I promise that Rocky Mountain Raclette will exceed your expectations and provide an awesome dinner experience for you and your guests! read more

We didn't need to lift a finger and enjoyed the service, food, and experience. Her team is so great and thoughtful. 5 star experience and something a little different from the typical in-home chef dinner. Hands down, the best experience I've had in Vail! I mean does it get any better? After a long day on the slopes, the last thing you want to do is get dressed and go out for dinner. Picture this...Alex (owner of Rocky Mountain Raclette) arrives at your residence, sets this beautiful table-scape at your preferred dining time. She brings delicious local game meats, wild caught seafood and organic vegetables with homemade dipping sauces. Nothing more exciting then grilling your own food at a table with all your friends! To top it off, you don't have to lift a finger, they left a spotless kitchen after. 10/10 recommend! Can't wait to do a theme dinner next time, unforgettable experience. read more

Amazing food. Blown away. As a Swiss citizen, I've had raclette all over the world. This is the best. Her food is original and inspiring. Highly recommended. read more

Our family LOVES raclette. We've eaten it in Vail before, as well as Megeve and Chamonix, France and Zermatt, Switzerland. And we make it at home. But this was the bomb. Chef Kathryn arrived with a selection of proteins, from elk and beef tenderloin, to lobster and shrimp. The veggies were fresh and cut to cook quickly on the hot stone. And the fingerling potatoes were cooked to perfection, just awaiting grilled onion and a shimmer of cheese. Kathryn's sauces were superb, and her chimichurri could be bottled and sold. It was a leisurely, interactive dinner. Our gluten free guests had no problem with the menu, and our lactose intolerant friend just skipped the cheese. There was still plenty to eat. Dessert? Kathryn made to order an apple streudel whose aroma filled the condo. Delicious and served with cinnamon ice cream. Kathryn brought the vino, set the table, made dessert while we ate dinner, and cleaned up as we watched a movie. A perfect evening. We may book her every night of our trip next year. No kidding. This would be a great evening for a family with kids, for a night with new friends and old, or even a romantic dinner. Kathryn, please keep doing this. You are great at it. And its a great concept. read more

Wonderful interactive dining experience for the whole fam. Buck and Meaghan were amazing from start to finish. The food was fresh and delicious, and not having to set up or clean afterward made it well worth the cost. Would highly recommend!! read more

If you're looking for a unique dining experience in the area, definitely check this out! Bar none, one of the best dining experiences I've had when visiting Vail. We utilized this service for a small dinner party with 6 of us. Kathryn (the owner) came to our house over prepared with a variety of delicious meats, cheese, veggies and vino. The entire experienced lasted several hours and everyone was full and satisfied by the end. Unlike other catering services, Kathryn was able to get rare meats so that night we dined on elk and buffalo, which was a fun experience. While we were dining, she also prepared a homemade berry dessert which was amazing I am hosting a bachelorette party in the coming weeks in Beaver Creek and we already have her booked to cater for 25 people. I prefer this service to restaurant dining. It is way more intimate and also entertaining to eat at your own pace and use the raclette grills. Whether your group is large or small, Rocky Mountain Raclette is a must-do when vacationing in the mountains! read more

I couldn't say enough good things about Rocky Mountain Raclette. You will not be disappointed. The food was amazing, and something everyone liked. It was a great way to pass time with family, friends or even business colleagues. It was interactive and fun! I'd also recommend it for small parties or couples, it would be a great quiet, intimate evening. We used this dinner for a small (35 person) wedding and it was perfect, everyone interacted, had fun, ate great food and it was an experience everyone is still talking about. Oh, and they are all looking for Raclette grills on Amazon for Christmas! Kathryn and her team were amazing. They really went above and beyond. They did much more than serve food, they explained the evening, and coordinated movement. She brought extras that made it such a nice evening, like music. They moved tables, cut and served cake, and really coordinated any detail we might have needed. I'd recommend her team for just about anything - they are "can do" people! Great food, great entertainment, great people!!! It made our wedding even more memorable. It will be a meal you always remember. read more

Rocky Mountain Raclette exceeded expectations and made for a unique and memorable experience for our group of 10 family and close friends. Kathryn was enthusiastic and cooperative with us in crafting a budget and menu to our preferences. She and her team came in and set up a beautiful table setting on time, served the fresh food and they cleaned up! I've had fondue, but the raclette experience was new. Really fun and easy while on vacation! After a great experience in Beaver Creek in Jan, I had Kathryn and her team come cook her magic for us at Vail in March! read more

Kathryn and her team served us up our favorite dinner during our trip to Vail! I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Raclette if you are looking for an interactive, delicious, and special meal to remember. Kathryn came to our rental home and set up with our appetizers for our party of 10 to enjoy with our pre-dinner cocktails. They set up the table beautifully and explained how to use the raclette grills as we started dinner. I was worried there would not be enough food for our hungry bunch but we even had leftovers of our delicious meats and vegetables for breakfast the next morning! The variety of meat seafood is unique (everything from shrimp and filet to lobster and elk) and tasty, they make it so seamless, and they cover all bases of a fantastic meal. It was especially nice to have this wonderful meal in the comfort of our home during a ski trip because everyone was out and about during the day and loved gathering around at night in a relaxed setting. Highly recommend- definitely worth it!! read more

After a day spent out on the slopes, the last thing we wanted to do was pretend to get dressed up an go out to eat. We are so glad we booked this unique experience! Kathryn showed up on time and it was smooth sailing the entire evening. She made sure we were comfortable, relaxed and well fed. She and her husband, Buck, did literally all the work! They even worked seamlessly with the not-so-perfect AirBnB supplies we had to work with. The entire group enjoyed themselves and we talked about it days after how perfect and FILLING the meal was! She was careful to take into account any food allergies and gave us tips on grilling the delicious, fresh food we had. Take my word for it, I have worked in hospitality/catering for 10+ years and this experience was FLAWLESS! read more

This is my second time using Rocky Mountain Raclette during my vacations in Vail and each time they are simply amazing. They come to your house and prepare your entire dinner party (everything from the appetizers, wine, main course and dessert). All you have to do is sit back and enjoy the incredible food and company. They even clean up afterwards. You literally do not do anything. Every single bite is fresh and tasty. This last time we had 4 kids under 5 with us and we had them come at bedtime so we could attempt to enjoy our dinner while they were sleeping and not have to deal with going to a restaurant. It was so comfortable and relaxing for all. I would HIGHLY recommend them!! read more

Kathryn and Buck prepared and served an inspiring meal to six of us. My friends had arranged for Kathryn and Buck to prepare a meal at the Ritz condos were were staying at in Vail. I had never heard of Raclette before but what a great way to be educated. Such a fun dinner hosted at our home by Rocky Mountain Raclette! Kathryn and her associate Megan were so friendly, knowledgable, and wonderful.
