Therefore, we carefully planned the reception to assure that our guests were well taken care of and more importantly well fed. Despite careful planning over several conversations/meetings with Red Maple Catering, we were left very dissatisfied with this caterer's end product. The quantity of food provided by Red Maple given the rather high cost of the catering was nowhere near our expectations. As one of the event hosts, I was only able to try 2 different appetizers (1 piece of each) the entire evening. Many of our guests subsequently told us they had to leave the reception early "to eat" and we ended up having to order multiple boxes of pizza for those guests that were able to stay at the reception. Needless to say, this was extremely embarrassing for us and the other reception event hosts. Again, given the rather high cost of the catered event (even for Beaver Creek) we definitely did not get our money's worth at all. Overall, our experience was extremely disappointing, and we would not recommend this caterer to anyone looking to host an event.

What we experienced, from Adam Weinberger and his Double Diamond crew, were three great nights of well-prepared foods, served at the right termperature, plated thoughtfully, timed perfectly for the pace of each evening - and then cleaned up even to the extent of sanitizing our counters. Owner/Chef Adam's passion for what they do comes through in the variety of foods they prepared -- and in his and his fiance's (darn, I forgot her name) ability to work in the background of our family gathering, preparing menu items that demonstrated a real foodie focus. Despite the daily mouthwatering food, the staff went above and beyond to make sure every guest was satisfied and well fed. The staff was friendly, engaging, and happy to share their recipes with us.
